The outside of Napoli pizza
Josh M.

Napoli pizza is located on Main Street in Pittston. They offer outdoor and indoor seating. The pizza place is operated by a husband and wife team. There is a lot of local pictures and history on the walls. They did a good job of the decor inside. The owner came over and was talking with us for a bit. He is from Italy and was very nice. The price of the food is very good almost everything is under $10. Some of the pasta dishes are more $ but for the portion size you get bang for your buck here. There menu features many different types of pizza. They won an award for there thin crust grandma style pizza. I have never had there pizza. I don't eat pizza out of NY unless I have to. There menus offers hot and cold subs and Italian pasta dinners. I ended up ordering a sausage and pepper hero. The hero and bread was very good. The person I was with had ordered chicken fingers. The chicken fingers were hand breaded and had a ton of flavor. I had 2 pieces they were really good. I would come back and order the chicken tenders. Overall. Napoli pizza is a good spot to come and eat. I do recommend eating here.

Pasta with Alfredo sauce and chicken
Kim H.

Yesterday we got delivery and tried their food for the first time. The girl who answered was friendly and took the order with no issues. She said delivery would be about 45 minutes and it was pretty spot on time wise. They don't take your credit card over the phone bc the driver has a device to scan it at your home. We ordered the pasta with Alfredo sauce and chicken, eggplant parm hoagie and the garlic balls. The chicken wasn't chunks of chicken like we were used to, but instead like shredded chicken so it wasn't actually visible with the sauce. My boyfriend enjoyed it though. It came with half of a hoagie roll and a side salad. Their hoagie rolls are really good and the side salad wasn't just your basic kind. It had olives, sweet peppers, sliced tomato, etc. We asked for the eggplant to be made extra crispy.. An easy request since eggplant is usually just fried. The girl said that wasn't possible so the eggplant was just mush when I got it. There also was very little of it on the hoagie, which is actually how I like it. Some people might not be happy with that though. The garlic balls were exactly that. There were so many of them. My boyfriend liked them, but I found them to be overly greasy and with way too much oregano on them. I couldn't get the taste out of my mouth. With tip our total came to $36. Not bad for what we got. We'll definitely order from here again and try other items like their pizza and desserts. Photos are attached.

When I lived here, this was my go-to spot for amazing Italian food, warm hospitality, and excellent service, all served up with a dash of that Agolino family magic. (Spoiler alert: nothing has changed, and that's a beautiful thing!) The moment I walked in, I was greeted by Chef Sam Agolino himself, and it felt like running into an old friend. He hasn't aged a day (what's his secret?!). I met up with a buddy--another die-hard PAZZO fan--and we settled in for a night of catching up over some truly mouthwatering dishes. Our server was top-notch, giving us plenty of time to chat and reminisce without feeling rushed. Since I was driving, I didn't indulge in one of PAZZO's famous cocktails, but was happy to see that non-alcoholic beer was available. The menu still had some of my old favorites, which made it impossible to choose (in the best way). We kicked things off with salads and two orders of their legendary meatballs. Let me tell you--those meatballs are something I'd order every time I visited and tonight they were just as I remembered them - perfectly seasoned, tender, and absolutely divine. For the main event, I went with the Vitello Neapolitan: breaded veal and eggplant layered with fresh mozzarella over pasta. The veal was melt-in-your-mouth tender, the pasta perfectly al dente, and the sauce? Chef's kiss perfection. My friend opted for the orecchiette pasta and raved about every bite. By the time dessert rolled around, we were so full we couldn't even think about it. Dinner at PAZZO had me questioning all my life choices--like why I ever left NEPA in the first place. But then I stepped outside into the freezing Pennsylvania air and remembered why I traded snow boots for flip-flops in Florida. Still, great Italian food like this is hard to find down south, and PAZZO makes me miss it every single time. The Agolino family has been a culinary staple in NEPA for decades, and it's easy to see why people keep coming back. Chef Sam, Corinne, and the entire team--thank you for an unforgettable evening! If you're in the area and haven't experienced PAZZO yet, stop reading this and GO. - Would move back to PA (temporarily) for the meatballs.

Food and service are fantastic. You are treated like family and everything is absolutely delicious!read more

We were lucky enough to score a romantic, private booth at Grico's and they were offering their Valentine's menu as far out as Thursday. There was a perfect pace to our meal, and the drinks were noticeablely delicious. The appetizers were flavorful but still light; no heavy breading on the clams casino, really nicely seasoned and the jumbo lump crab cocktail was so fresh I just opted for a squeeze of lemon. The salads were incredible; the croutons on the Caesar were crisp and airy, the toasted pine nuts with the arugula salad added that crunch that some salads are missing. It would have been an epic meal even if it had to end there, but the entrees delivered as well. The massive portion of Seafood Fra Diavolo (shrimp, scallops, calamari and clams in spicy marinara over linguine) had my fiance packing leftovers, and the only reason I didn't finish my meal was to have another crack at this savory peppercorn encrusted bone-in pork shank beauty the next day. Rested on a mushroom brandy cream sauce, with broccoli and oven-roasted crispy seasoned potatoes, every bite smothered in that sauce was delicious. We felt like, for what we got, it was an excellent value and items were appropriately priced; staff were very welcoming and had great, honest and personal recommendations to help us decide between all the great menu options. This is basically seafood-forward Italian dining done right, with top-notch cocktails in an inviting atmosphere...we'll most certainly be back!

My fiancé took me to this restaurant for our first dinner date almost 6 years ago this week, so we…read morecame back to celebrate before we marry later this year. So, this restaurant holds a special place in my heart. It was a Friday night so I was expecting it to be a little busy, but I was so sad to see barely anyone in there around 6:30 at night. We parked and walked in the lower lot, past a beautiful outdoor patio space that looks like it's a blast to hang out at in the summer once the weather gets warmer. (Took a mental note to come back with friends!) We walked in and seated ourselves and our waitress came right over with menus and asked for our drink orders. I'm a Gin girl so I asked her for a Gimlet. Even though she admitted she hadn't made one in a while, it was delicious and strong. My fiance ordered the Italian beer on draft and was in heaven. We were starving and got an appetizer (which we rarely do) to spoil ourselves and we ordered the Cauliflower Bites instead of chicken, just to try something different. THEY WERE SO GOOD. Breaded, seasoned, and cooked to perfection, we were relieved we DIDN'T order chicken bites, these were a lighter and tasty alternative. We ordered our entrees, and didn't have to wait long at all for them to come out, we didn't even finish our bites yet. I ordered the Chicken Saltimbocca and my fiancé ordered the Pappardelle Bolognese. He LOVED his dish, said the sauce was a little TOO sweet for his taste, but he finished the whole plate, he couldn't stop eating. My chicken however was a little dry. It was covered in cheese and I ordered spinach as my veggie side so those made up for the dryness, but overall, it was also delicious. Would we return? YES! The atmosphere was so nice and chill, the decor/vibe of downstairs is almost like Olive Garden but way classier. The food is just as delicious as it was 6 years ago on our fist date. Our waitress was friendly and accommodating, asked us how everything was, and made small talk as she tended to other customers and cleaned tables. The Ladies Room was also well maintained and clean. The only downside is the lack of customers! I couldn't believe how empty the room was on a Friday night for dinner and my fiance told me that for the area, that's not uncommon. People would rather visit a chain restaurant in Dickson City or just go to the bar. Common people, visit Arturo's instead, you're missing out!

This review was very mixed. We'd heard great things about this place and wanted to try a new place…read moreas we've started exhausting a lot of local places. The decor was great, the drinks were FANTASTIC, my food was about a 5 out of 10. I had the carbonara. Very oily and not creamy at all. I would have used a different blend of cheeses to make it creamier and less oily. My guess is they used Asiago. Not bad but not as great as I was expecting. My wife had the red beet salad. Shockingly a $20 salad with canned beets on it. Mediocre at best but the canned beets ruined it. If your getting a salad that features a specific vegetable wouldn't you want that vegetable to be the best highlight of the salad? That was the good part. The service I can't even explain. I'm not sure what happened because if it were like this everyday they'd be closed. We walked in downstairs and was told to sit wherever we wanted and then we were forgotten about. The bartender finally came over after my wife was looking her way for 20 minutes. Bartender apologized for forgetting about us. No waitresses anywhere. The AC I think was off because it was cooler outside on a warm muggy PA night than it was inside. The bar was about 3/4 full and there was one table seated and we noticed about 3/4 of the outdoor seating was occupied as well. Not super busy at all. We waited about 20 minutes before we were approached. We ordered water until we could got our menus and reviewed them. Water never came. Someone else came over and asked us about ordering drinks. We ordered drinks and asked about our water. Water never came. Drinks came. Then yet a different person came over a few minutes later to take our food order. We ordered water again since we were planning on drinking more. My wife's appetizer came out, meatballs. Pretty good, similar but somewhat different flavor than my Italian mothers recipe. When the app came out that person finally got us silverware, napkins and our water. Food came a little later. That's described above. During dinner we had to get up to get refills on water and were never offered additional drinks or anything. We finally stopped someone and asked for our check. My wife had to go to the bar to pay the bill. No one ever came back to the table. At one point earlier we were asked who our waitress was and we all looked at each other because 4 or maybe 5 people were at our table at some point but it was like we still couldn't get stuff we needed. My wife paid with a card she had forgotten to activate and it declined. The bartender gave her the slip and the card and never noticed or told her. She realized it at the table. We had to go back to the bar and pay again because after cleaning that one table everyone except the bartender would vanish. Finally we paid, sweating our asses off in a corner table with the most bassy sound system pounding for 2 hours we got out of there and went to a local bar for drinks. I would have loved to have enjoyed this place and loved to have had more drinks because their bar was the highlight of the experience but it was clear they didn't care about us at all. And we were sweating to death.
