This is the spiciest naan on the planet.... unless you fancy licking Satan's butt hole up for the garlic instead!

Probably some of the worst Indian food I've had in the area. We got some lamb biryani and it was incredibly spicy. My husband loves heat and even he said it was too spicy to be enjoyable. I got butter chicken that was very cardamom heavy and completely lacked salt. Everybody there was very nice, but with it being as dead, as it was, we sat without being able to order additional items for quite a while It's in a great location, just feels like maybe we hit it on the wrong night.

The place was absolutely dead but we got our food super quickly which was great, did seem like they only had one guy working. I got chicken tikka masala and it was delicious, the amount of food you get is incredible considering it's not too pricey. Service could've been better, but once again, only one guy working.

Still good! But unfortunately, didn't have the best experience tonight. My partner and I were raving to our buddy about this place and the three of us decided to grab dinner here. It's Saturday, busy night! Took awhile to get seats to dine in, but it was fine, we were excited for the food. Finally seated after about 5 minutes, we didn't get our menus, but it's okay, we already know what we're going to get... except, the waiter didn't come to us for another 15+ minutes. A big group of people were seated way before us and had their orders taken right away. I was waiting for him to finish taking their order so I can tell him we (been) are ready as well. Another waiter saw us and was apologetic about not bringing us a menu, but all good, it's been almost 20 minutes at this point, we're ready to order. All should be good! Nope, 2 out of the 3 dishes came out very lukewarm, and we ordered naan that didn't come out at all. We waited, until we were all done with our plates, and came to the realization that they have forgotten part of our order. We were still hungry but who knew how much longer it would take for the naan. Not worth it at this point. Our table was pretty much forgotten, warm food, missing item, no water refill. They were way busier compared to the time I was here last time; so I'll give them that. Not sure if I'll be back but food is still pretty good and priced fair for downtown AA.

I really want to find a good Indian spot in A2 and had high hopes seeing the reviews. I ordered the chicken tikka masala with medium spice for $16 incl rice. Portion size was decent. Everything about the dish lacked flavor. The curry was runny and tasted like nothing. The chicken was tender but again, had no seasoning. I cannot stress enough how inauthentic and bland this dish was. It tasted nothing like the tikka masala I've had from other Indian restaurants. What a horrible disappointment. Will absolutely never order again.

I live near Namaste Flavors and every day I walk past and smell the aromas that drift out of the restaurant, and it makes me so hungry each time. I finally got to try it this weekend and I am impressed! I got the chicken vindaloo, and it really packed a punch heat-wise, but it was so flavorful and made the experience so much better. We also got the mughlai chicken, and normally, I'm not a huge proponent of putting tree nuts in food, but the curry was fantastic. It provided a nice relief from the spicy vindaloo, and it was so good that after we ran out of rice I was eating it on its own. Although the mughlai chicken wasn't spicy, by no means was it a mild flavor. Lastly, we got the mango lassi as I always do at Indian restaurants. The mango flavor was pretty dominating, which I loved, but it was also really thick, thicker than what I've had at other places, and this made the yogurt flavor a little stronger. However, I still thought it was delicious.

There aren't too many places that are open for a late dinner besides fast food which we've done already. We came across this restaurant since it closed at 10pm and decided to try it. There is street parking and a small lot as well. I saw on the menu that they offered dosa only to learn they were out of it. I am not familiar with Indian cooking but maybe they ran out of batter this late at night (around 8:30pm)? We ordered the chicken biryani mild (which the server placed as med), mughlai chicken mild and garlic naan. We asked if the dishes were spicy and they said they can cater the spice level. The menu doesn't have the usual red pepper emoji next to the dish to indicate if it is spicy. It is a very extensive menu. It was all good despite the spicy biryani and the chicken was tender. Service was decent. The restaurant decor was simple. It is in a house on a corner. We will return in the future to try out the dosas!

Absolutely, should be on your checklist if you enjoy good service/taste. I will be back very soon!

There was a dead bug in my samosa. Please avoid at all costs.

There was a dead bug in my food. Eat there at your own discretion. We left as soon as we got our bug-filled food, so cannot speak to anything else.

I might actually buy coffee and tea as holiday gifts for my coworkers. The reason for the 4 star instead of 5 is because the women's bathroom was not clean, customer service can be improved, and some music can really make the cafe more inviting. I made coupe of orders, one included dessert. I was handed the cake with no fork, had to ask for one. Wasn't given napkins and didn't bother asking. I might sound petty, but honestly the product can be great. However, customer service is what brings customers back. There needs to be proper training. If I'm going to spend money and do everything myself and ask for everything that should be the basic/ standard, then I might as well make my coffee at home. It terms of music, I think it would amplify the space. When I stopped by the cafe, I was the only one in the main space and it was dead silent and all I can hear is the buzzing of the cooler that had the water and pop/ drinks. Some light music in the background would've blocked that noise. I only share this because I would love to see this business thrive.

I had time to speak with staff about the last k of space for baking and how they arrived at so many flavors. They do not bake onsite but receive frozen shipments from the main bakery in Grand Rapids as handiest the Holland, Michigan store. They defrost enough each for each day so they never run out of flavors. They were some of best I have ever had. Nothing like what you might find in the bakery section of a grocer. I chose three macarons to enjoy at the shop: blueberry, coconut, and strawberry cheesecake. I liked the delicate crack of the macaron shells and the creamy, flavorful centers. Each sported a design to distinguish itself from the others further. I also had a piping hot Earl Gray tea along with these treats. Espresso, French and Italian sodas, and lattes are also available. Customers stopped in throughout my visit for a quick purchase or to savor their macarons at nearby tables. Service was disappointing.
