Was craving banh mi and found this place! *Review is based off of delivery/take out I ordered the mango milk drink and the grilled pork banh mi. The mango milk drink did not look like it's picture but it tasted really good! I would get it again. The grilled pork banh mi was delicious! Lots of ingredients. The cucumber was hard to bite into though. Overall, good food and drink and I would come back! read more

I was disappointed with my B6 pate with jambon sandwich. I know jambon traditionally and authentically has fat on it, but I had literal entire pieces of fat a quarter inch thick throughout my sandwich. Not a bit on the edges or a piece here or there, like a CRAZY amount. I had to take the sandwich apart and pick it out. So I'm not sure if that's the intended experience or not, but I would NOT order the jambon unless you like chewing entire mouthfuls of fat. Friend ordered a large spicy beef pho. It was indeed large! A good portion for dinner and more to take home. I'd return here because the food does seem of decent quality and there are other menu items I would like, however it is NOT cheap. So... keep that all in mind so you aren't disappointed. read more

This review is only for bahn mi and spring rolls. I ordered B1-Special Combination($11.90) and B2-Grilled Pork($10.85). I also got the spring rolls (4 pcs). The price on their website is incorrect, their prices are higher. The food came out relatively quickly, within 5-10 minutes. Plenty of dining space, to the right of the door and to the left side. Simple design and layout. The bahn mi was decent, the grilled pork was my favorite. The bread fall apart quickly, compared to bread used in other restaurants. The spring rolls were decent, they could have given more dipping sauce. When I got my order, they gave me partial of my order, it was missing the spring rolls. I hope they work out their operational issues. read more

I've been to Paris Banh Mi several times now - both the Ann Arbor and Troy locations and it's hands down my favorite Vietnamese sandwich shop in Michigan. The Troy location is slightly cheaper, but in my opinion, Ann Arbor gives you more, especially when it comes to the amount of meat in the sandwiches. I usually order the B5 (pate with pork) with the veggies on the side it's my go to. I also prefer it not toasted since I don't like when the bread scratches the roof of my mouth. Pro tip: bring cash, it's cheaper that way! I've tried ordering extra pâté a couple of times, but it never really feels like they add much, so I don't bother with that anymore. That said, their sandwiches are always fresh, flavorful, and satisfying. They also serve rice and pho, but honestly, I think those are overpriced for what you get. I believe a bowl of pho here starts at $25 which is insane to me. You can usually find more authentic, flavorful, and half the price options elsewhere. Then again, it is a college town, so that's not too surprising. A Bahn mi usually costs me about $11 here. Overall, I come here at least once a month and highly recommend it, especially if you're craving a solid banh mi in Michigan. read more

Service was great--the person at the counter was patient and helpful when I asked whether the Spicy Beef Noodle Soup (Bun Bo Hue), which is my favorite, is gluten free. He asked the kitchen staff and came back out to tell me all their noodle dishes are gluten free. We splurged on the Spare Rib Pho and Bun Bo Hue in the hot stone bowls, along with some spring rolls and kumquat oolong tea. Everything was delicious and thoughtfully made. The noodle soup was piping hot and came with so much meat/protein! I was impressed by the freshly cooked noodles and the very tender meat. It's definitely worth the extra cost, and I'll definitely be back when I need the comfort on a cold day! read more

Paris Banh Mi is a Vietnamese restaurant chain that is scattered across the U.S. with around with 50 or so locations. I'm pleasantly surprised something like Paris Banh Mi is on campus, and even more shocked at the portions here. I will say, the food isn't cheap, but they give you a lot for what you pay for. HOT STONE PHO SPECIAL - 25 I thought I just got the pho special, but mine came with a short rib in the sizzling hot stone bowl, which was filled with piping hot broth and topped with garnish and aromatics. On the side, there was a huge platter of raw beef (ribeye prime steak and brisket), meat balls, and pho noodles. The broth was clean and flavorful, and I enjoyed a couple sips of it before putting the meats in (which I recommend doing early on for it to cook properly). The short rib fell off the bone like butter, and it was tender. There was so much food that I was struggling to finish all of it. The pho noodles had the perfect texture, too. Overall, solid options. My married friends got the regular pho with short rib, banh mi, and vermicelli bowl, which they both enjoyed. There were lots of leftovers for the two of them to take home. Overall, solid Vietnamese restaurant in downtown Ann Arbor with large portions -- I wish I had something like this when I was a student here. read more

I appreciate the presentation and the fact that I barely waited for my order to come out. After a long day and somewhat of a scary flight, I was glad to eat something to fuel my body with what I consider is comfort food. I did not eat or drink anything all day as I did not want to get up during my flight. I came here yesterday around 2:45 because my room wasn't ready, so I was not able to check-in. Parking is not an issue but it's because I came on a Sunday afternoon during the summer. During the regular semester at University of Michigan, parking will be a challenge. This place gave me a fast food feel but it's definitely a casual restaurant. You order at the front, pay, then find an open table. They do not offer/serve any drinks other than milk tea or pearl teas. They did not have sodas or even bottled water. I like how they offer iced cold water in pitchers as plastic cups are available to patrons. I ordered the H1 (short rib, brisket, steak, and Meatball) in a stone bowl. It came out sizzling and hot - as expected. I was not able to put everything in the bowl without it overflowing, so I did have to take out some of the steak in order to enjoy some bean sprouts in the broth as well. They did not offer lemon/lime wedges, no jalapenos, and the herbs that usually come with pho but other than that, the short rib (no bones) was very tender, the steak was fresh, and the brisket were also tender (cuts not even but that was fine). The broth was pretty clean. I don't think I've ever paid $30 for a bowl of pho, only at GAO Viet Kitchen & Bar where I paid $$ for a bowl of pho but it's because portions are huge and the combinations are unconventional. I did order their banh mi to go since I knew I would not want to leave my hotel room once I've checked in. When asked if I wanted it toasted and cut in half, I said "yes" but when I opened the brown bag, it was literally cut in half but not wrapped to cover the entire half, leaving that half exposed. Not the traditional Vietnamese mayo was used but I like mayo, so the American Hellman's kind is fine by me. The ham was a bit tough... but it was a decent banh mi. A little pricier than San Jose for what you get but that's just my opinion. There is a dessert case available by the front. It had chocolate cheesecake, tiramisu, and the likes. I think marketing and the layout of the restaurant ought to be improved, so patrons coming in can see everything available to order and not be so scattered. Overall, I was pretty satisfied yesterday. read more

Got delivery from here and was very impressed! The banh mis are huge - seriously maybe a foot long - for $11. And tasty! Bread was good (which can make or break a banh mi) and fillings were well balanced. Plenty of meat and bright crunchy pickled veggies. Also tried a vermicelli dish (not sure which one exactly that my husband ordered, but it had beef and shrimp in it). Super tasty! Also large portions. Finally, a couple of the shrimp spring rolls. No notes! These are exactly what I want in a spring roll. Overall exceeded expectations and I absolutely will be trying the pho and lemongrass soup noodles next. read more

Best phở & bánh mì I've had here in Ann Arbor!! Saw on the 'gram that they opened, so I stopped in with Yelper Tina H. Paris Banh Mi looks like a franchise with multiple locations throughout the states, but it is DELICIOUS and the AA location has a bit of flair to it! The Korean Corn Dogs were really random to me, so we sticked to the classics: *Pate & BBQ pork bánh mì (Bánh Mì Pâté Thịt Đỏ: Pâté, ham, jalapeños pepper, mayonnaise, cucumber, pickled daikon & carrot, and cilantro): Added extra pâté for $1. The bread was so soft and fresh (baked in-house!) and I found it all be very tasty. Great value for $10! *Hot Stone Phở Special - I am a sucker for tableside things AND i mean a hot stone bowl is functional (keeps it piping hot!) Apparently this is a thing happening on the coast already, so we love to see it here! *Artichoke tea - there's not much detail but artichoke is an herbal tea (so caffeine free) made by steeping artichoke leaves. They serve this with basil seeds, grass jelly, and crystal bobas. It's very light & refreshing - almost reminiscent of coconut water - how it's lightly sweet and fragrant. There was a touch of herbalness coming thru from the grass jelly as well. I'm totally coming back for the hot stone bun bo hue, more delish bánh mì and artichoke tea. FYI it's fast casual style - order at the counter and they'll call out your name. They'll bring out your phở to you though! read more

The service was excellent. I really enjoyed the banh mi and the spring rolls. I recommend.

Came back to try this wonderful soup. They did not have the short rib so they added more brisket. The brisket they use is a very nice portion size. The noodles they use look more like udon than typical pho rice noodles. The broth they use has a pho base but you can taste the lemongrass and chili, the broth has a really nice flavor. read more

Paris Banh Mi - H2. Tenderloin Beef, Short Rib, Brisket, Beef Ball and Viet's Ham Noodle Soup - Bubble Tea Near Me - Ann Arbor, Michigan

What a great meal I had here with yelper Tiffany H! The banh mi was super reasonably priced and the bread was perfectly toasty and made in house. Love that when you ask for extra pate you can actually taste it here! The pho is the best I've had in town yet, and the meat portions are GENEROUS whether you get the hot stone or classic large pho. So although the price is higher than other pho in the area (~$18-25 depending on what size, and whether you get the hot stone option), the amount of meat, topping and noodles you get compared to the competition is phenomenal. My only critique of the pho is that the broth is a little oilier than I like it, BUT it's incredibly flavorful almost like Korean kalbitang so I'll give it a pass. Their Vietnamese coffee is STRONK and delicious too! read more

As a fast-food spot, it tastes fine and the portion is generous. As a Viet restaurant... don't expect too much

Pricey food but the portion size and quality of meat is pretty good, especially compared to a lot of Vietnamese food in Ann Arbor, which is often not great. Pho was pretty heavy. Meat was really well cooked and great quality. Could've used more veggies and lime. Additionally, the broth lacked depth. For the price, if you like meat, you won't be disappointed. Overall 7/10. The combo bang mi was equally heavy in the meat. Again, more veggies (especially picked carrots and daikon) would've been great. I would say fair price, 8/10. Service was quick and the workers polite. They had some kid (assume it was a worker's) playing on his tablet really loud but it wasn't a huge deal- probably should give him some ear buds. Otherwise it was open and airy. Looking forward to coming back and trying new food! Hopefully they add more spices to the pho broth, and they will have a winning bowl. read more

Truly bussin. First time visiting and ordered the #2 pho. Delicious. Broth had several levels of flavor and I didn't even wanna add sriracha to mess it up bc it was that good. Their broth is everything Tomukun tries to be and isn't. Brisket wasn't overly chewy, it cooked well in the broth. Boyfriend ordered the pork bahn mi. spectacular. I would add a pic but i ate it too fast read more

It's taken me a while to come here and try the pho because I can't justify spending $20 on it but I'm so glad I did! I am Vietnamese from Houston, so I'm used to amazing pho, but the broth here did not disappoint! Great meat quality as well!! The brisket was very tender and the tenderloin beef is much better quality than you get at most pho places. The banh mi here is also a great meal for students. It's a very typical banh mi but it is a great size and so yummy! read more

I ate here without thinking much about it but I was completely surprised by how delicious it was. The pork Banh Mi sandwich is seriously amazing! It's great to see a good pho place opening up in Ann Arbor. The short rib pho made me feel very nourished, it was like eating invigorating food on a hot summer days in Asia They also have Korean-style mozzarella hot dogs, and honestly, it's the crispiest and best one I've had in a while. Just one thing I really want to mention--the batter is quite thick, so the hot dog looks huge, which is great from a customer's perspective. But the inside of the batter wasn't fully cooked. If you could make the coating thinner and cook it all the way through, I think it could be the best hot dog in USA! read more

WORST PHO EVER. I've had pho many times across different regions, and this was hands down the most disappointing. The broth was bland, overly oily, and completely lacking in flavor. The tiny (and I mean tiny) lemon wedge was a joke and did absolutely nothing to help. Pho is usually a safe, satisfying choice for me, so I was genuinely SHOCKED to learn it could be made this badly. Definitely won't be coming back. If you're craving pho, do yourself a favor and stay far away from this place. read more

Went for the first time today after church. My expectations were low but my wife wanted pho on a cold night in late November. Her pho was top notch and my banh mi was delicious! All at a very fair price. We are adding Paris Banh Mi to our list of favorites. read more

Very expensive. Ordered Premium pho tenderloin beef. The soup is oily and lacks flavor. Definitely below standard.

Bahn Mi's were really good! I'd definitely go again but I think I got food poisoning from here. The next day and 4 days forward, I was on the toilet!! This was the only place and only food that was out of ordinary for me. Sadly, I would not go again because of this and would not want to risk sitting on the toilet for 4 days lol but sandwiches are 10/10. read more

Look, you can't give raw sirloin for to-go pho in a container that isn't microwave safe. You've gotta par-boil that stuff or something. And the noodles have to be more well done to make up for the lack of time to cook. If you're going to change the order, don't email the customer - call them. I *hate* giving negative reviews, but for what we paid, we were seriously let down here. We didn't even eat half of what we bought. It was the disappointment of the night. read more

Although this is not the best banh mi I've ever had, it is solid. The grilled pork banh mi was flavorful and the portion was larger than other banh mi in the area. The real selling point is that you can get banh mi for around $10 that is way better and more filling than a $8/$9 sandwich from Subway or Jimmy John's (which is ridiculous). Great value, especially for the campus area, and better than most chains. read more

Delicious banh mi! Bigger size than expected for the price. Good service! Would return again.

Certainly the price and the amount of food for a banh mi sandwich is pretty good. But my sandwich didn't quite "come together". The fillings were not evenly distributed along the length of the sandwich, and I'd have preferred more flavor -- more jalapeños and sauce/condiment. I realize they just opened and their staff is still getting the hang of things. I hope they get the kinks worked out. read more

It's okay. If you order out their packing is so bad, the don't double knot the soup base so it risks spilling and they don't offer a container to combine the noodles and the soup. They also have much less in the to go. It is more like a medium when you paid for a large. I almost spilt boiling soup on myself, maybe ask for a larger bag. read more

This is one of the best lunch options near campus. For $10, you get a high quality (and quite large) banh mi. I got mine within 5 minutes. That is an insane value for this area. I don't know how they can keep this up, but I sure hope they do. I expect I'll come back about once a week. I came in here and got the pho with beef tenderloin and beef balls to go. While the pho was good and the Bánh Mi's looked fantastic, I was baffled by the pho I got. You have to cook the meat in the broth at home! I don't know a single pho restaurant that has you cook the beef at home. Not only is this a food safety issue, but also is a business issue as it never mentioned the practice on the menu or its website. I will be back to try a banh mi, but as for the pho, I'm not sure just yet. read more

I love their Pho and Bahn mi even for a franchise. I had their Beef pho with a meaty beef rib and more beef cuts and a broth with deep umami flavors!
