I hate to say it but Jasmine has fallen off big time. I ordered a Jasmine milk tea and an oolong milk tea for my partner. Both drinks were extremely light colored with one slightly darker (which I assumed was the oolong, even though it was lighter than I expect from oolong). When I got home and we read the labels it turned out the darker drink was the jasmine and the lighter drink was the "oolong". It literally just looked like milk. My partner tried it and he said it tasted like water with cream. Mine tasted somewhat like jasmine but very artificially sweet. Service was also pretty lacking. The staff member did not even acknowledge me and they just turned around as I approached to pick up the drinks. read more

I ordered via Classpass. The server was friendly and ordering experience was not hard. Unfortunately, the oolong milk tea that I ordered tasted like a cup of pure milk with very little oolong flavor. Would not recommend, especially with so many other bubble tea shops close by. read more

This is by far the worst boba I have ever had. I ordered taro and it came dark brown. When I said, "oh sorry I ordered taro," they reaffirmed that this is what it was. The drink was powdery and the boba was hard. My friend ordered something as well and she ended up throwing up from it. It also took a long time to get our drinks but it wasn't busy at all. I love boba and will even drink ones that aren't that good; this was the first time I've ever thrown a drink away because it was so bad. Maybe their fruit drinks are better but I would never get their milk teas. read more

This is a rating for the lychee jasmine drink specifically. Got it with boba and coconut jelly instead of tea jelly. 10/10. Been looking for a good lychee drink for years. Genuinely unbelievable experience. We waited 40 minutes for one drink while the shop felt completely abandoned--no employees visible, no communication, no sounds of drinks being made. At that point, it was unclear if anyone was even working. Zero accountability, zero professionalism, and zero respect for customers' time. If you're going to make people wait this long, the bare minimum is to acknowledge them. Save yourself the frustration and go literally anywhere else. read more

I visited Jasmine Bubble Tea on Sunday, 5/14/23, around 8 PM. I ordered the Fresh Strawberry Cheezo Slush and the 8-Piece Shrimp Fried Shu Mai. As for the slush, I wasn't too much of a fan. The drink had an interesting taste and the strawberry flavor was extremely subtle. I wasn't able to finish it. However, I loved the Fried Shu Mai. It was fried to perfection and tasted delicious! The service was great. The staff members were pleasant and welcoming. Overall, I would probably order a different drink next time. read more

We stopped by after visiting one of the Ann Arbor museums and got the following: Taiwan Bubble Tea, Large, Less Ice, 75% Sugar, Regular Milk (comes w/ boba by default) - The drink is way too sweet at 75%, next time I will have to get 50% or even 25%. There is a heavy milk flavor, the sweetness and milkiness covers up the tea flavor. This will hopefully be better when less sweet. The boba was just a tad hard but the texture was still pretty good; chewy on the outside with a slightly firmer center. The drink is was on the expensive side at $7.09 after tax, possibly due to the location in downtown Ann Arbor. I might sound a bit critical, but I do think the drink in general was better than the Cha Time that Jasmine Bubble Tea replaced and is above average in Michigan. I would go again to try another drink, with toned down sweetness of course. read more

The service was quick and simple. The latte itself was just okay. I expected it to actually be a latte, but it just tasted like milk with mochi, which was the biggest disappointment. Great boba shop near Tower Plaza and Nickels Arcade! I popped by on a Friday afternoon to try their Green Jasmine milk tea. It was not too sweet and perfect with lychee jelly. There were several tables in the cozy environment which was well lit. Wi-Fi is available for those who want to do a little bit of cafe work. Seating is not abundant though, so I would feel apologetic staying for more than an hour. They also had some Chinese noodles and hot foods on the menu. I didn't have a chance to try them but would like to do so in a future visit! read more

It just opened last month, replacing Cha Time. It was a very fast transition. I heard that this is a single location, instead of being a chain, so that's good. My friends said it was very expensive, and I would agree after seeing the menu. I went over for the first time today, and the prices are indeed high. But that doesn't bother me necessarily. What bothers me more is that there's only one cup size. I really would like a much bigger size. And unlike some other places that only have one drink size, the cup size at Jasmine Tea is quite small. But regarding other types of customizations, there are many ways to personalize your beverage to your taste, such as choosing your milk. Also, I got the 25% sweet level, and I would say it's very accurate. This appears to be on the few places where you can actually get a bubble tea with 0% sugar. The thing I miss most about Cha Time is the food. It was one of the few places where you could get Takoyaki and Gyoza pretty quickly and casually. I heard that the owners would be adding food to the menu however, so I'm looking forward to that. Some savory snacks would be much appreciated. All the other bubble tea places offer waffles and desserts, and I just don't crave any additional sweetness after bubble tea. Also, if this place is going to add more seating, that would be great. A lot of the other bubble tea places also function as a nice spot for social gatherings. The old Cha Time layout was really cramped, and didn't make for a good location to socialize. I feel that if the interior is opened up to have more room, then that would make this place a much bigger improvement over its predecessor. This boba shop has replaced Cha Time...which I'm okay with! While I enjoyed Cha Time's general selection of milk tea and toppings, what I really missed back home in the Bay Area was mango sago. And now I can get it as ease at Jasmine! Sago is basically mini white tapioca pearls (which is not the same as crystal/konjac boba). I ordered the mango grapefruit sago and taro boba milk tea: 3.8/5 stars - Mango Grapefruit Sago (less sugar & less ice): - could have a stronger mango flavor, I might try regular sugar next time - tastes a little light, could be more creamy. Again, I might go for regular sugar to see if it helps. - has a somewhat floral taste to it? Not sure where it's coming from, maybe they added tea to the drink or I'm confusing it with the flavor of the grapefruit? - sago is cooked perfectly 4/5 stars - Taro Boba Milk Tea (less sugar & less ice): - perfect sweetness for me - boba is nicely cooked - FYI the taro mash is a bit chunky, which is normal, but for those that don't like texture or how real taro tastes, you might not like this Overall, both these drinks aren't bad and ingredients taste fresh. came from NYC to visit friends and tried this cute bubble tea place: definitely the best bubble tea I ever had in this country! The drinks are so fresh and tasty. They are not made with artificial flavor/milk tea powder but with quality milk and tea and real fruits. I heard their signature drinks are really good, so I tried Taro Bubble Milk Tea, Mango Grapefruit Sago, and Strawberry Mochi Latte - and they are so delicious! Love it! They also have deli options - noodles and hot snacks. I ordered noodles with sesame peanut sauce (re gan mian) and spicy beef shank, my friend had house beef noodles - they are all so authentic and delicious, making me nostalgic! Best place for bubble tea, fruit tea, and hot food in my opinion. Everything on the menu is worth a try! The environment is so cute, warm and clean - very good for people to just sit down and enjoy some good time. Will be back to try more options on the menu! read more

It's a new boba shop so I haven't try it before. It's so authentic. Looooove it sm. They have the best quality of boba which are kinda chewy but not like gummy bear and the milk tea is not that sweet. The 50% sugar is basically as sweet as boba in Taiwan so you don't need to order no sugar or 25% sugar when you want a 50% in Taiwan as you did to some other boba shops read more
