NAIL GOERS BE AWARE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
I really wanted soo bad to like this place since they are conveniently located. I also wanted to avoid writing a negative review and rating and returned a second time so they can redeem themselves after the worst nail paint job I've ever had in my life.
Went to this place very recently and explained to the female owner who did my nails what my goals were for my nails, my sensitivity to the electric filer she forcefully used on me, and then gave her the heads up on the silk tape on two of my nails. She did not want to hear or care about any of my concerns, quickly became argumentative with me and proceeded to name call as she was doing my nails. I was called "Picky" for trying to explain my nails and the situation..like are you Fn serious? If you cannot have a simple conversation with your customers that really mean well, then you have no place in business period. I was nowhere near being "picky," I actually thought I was having a normal conversation with a mature adult.
The experience was very uncomfortable and terrifying to say the least. Not only was I called names, she proceeded to talk in Vietnamese to all her coworkers, drawing their attention to where I was sitting..they all joined her, carried on in their native tongue and laughed at every other word that came out of their mouths while staring me down. It felt they were just laughing at me. That business owner was a complete bully!!
The entire time she worked on my nails, she did not at all care about doing a decent job and was extremely rude and condescending. Well, as you can imagine, the end product of my nails was very very disappointing. It literally looked like a 5 year old child just finished painting my nails. The nail polish was smudged, smeared on my skin, streaked and uneven. I did not have the energy to point this out to this very condescending business owner so I left. The experience was unsettling to say the least.
I returned the following night and showed them the end results of my nails, voicing (in a calm voice) my dissatisfaction with my nails, they insisted the poor job that was done the night before " looked good." Further told me this is what I get for now buying the gel option. Continued to be very insulting. I was then literally attacked and patronized by almost everyone at that nail salon. It felt like it was me against the Vietnamese mob. Again, very terrifying!!! I was not looking for any trouble but really just expected them to do the right thing. Instead, the bald male Vietnamese guy started poking fun, patronizing, and mocking me. The female owner's husband (short guy with black hair) started calling me "crazy." This was extremely hurtful and unnecessary. I was verbally, emotionally and mentally abused for absolutely no reason. My hope in returning the second day was so I can give them the benefit of the doubt and avoid this review altogether. Little did I know things would only get worse. These people should not be business owners. Perhaps, they need a course or two on good customer service.
Lastly, commenting on the lack of cleanliness in the salon. I wouldn't be surprised if people suffer serious fungal infections after a nail treatment there.
If you see this place, run as far as you can! Save yourself the time and headache and the emotional, mental, and verbal abuse. There are way better salons in the area that will never treat you this way. No one ever has the right to abuse you. Shame shame on these business owners!!!! read more
