Rude, overpriced and don't listen to what you want. Was there for over 4 hours for them to fix my daughter's nails because she asked for coffin shape and the tech squared them off and then complete messed up the polish and length trying to fix them. We were told that they would discount the price but when we went to pay, they tried to charge us even more than we were originally paying. Also, when I got mine done that same day, the tech kept trying to take it upon herself to add designs that I did not want. Kept grabbing my fingers trying to do stuff. Never again read more

So disappointed. This shop was recommended to me by a friend. Never again will I return. I had a manicure done w dipping powder and had to return to have it redone because the dipping powder cracked. When I complained they gave me hard time to get it fixed. The young lady who fixed it did a better job but it wasn't great. The older lady who did my pedicure cut so deep in my cuticles my toe has been hurting and swollen for over 2 weeks. read more

Way overpriced. I paid $70 for my nail to crack after 1 week!!!!! They just overcharge and their prices are NOT consistent

I've been to a lot of salons and I've never had such a horrible experience where the tech has cut my toe to the point of it bleeding. I was expecting a discount after going through such a horrible experience. The second lady that came to fix the damage did a much better job. Very disappointed that even after mentioning it was my first time at this salon and that I wanted the tech to cut out my ingrown skin, that I was given someone who didn't know what they were doing. Unbelievable! read more

Can't find too many salons who do SNS but they do.l All the techs can do them but I prefer Rose or Ellen. If you can't find a color you like then you might as well be color blind - they have almost a whole wall full of colors! Pedicures are great-very relaxing and they have recently started threading. I use their frequent shoppper card and get either 10 or 20% off every 10 or so visits. Have never had a long wait and I usually go on Fridays about noon. read more

Great place, very satisfied, will be returning, they also have coupons, on their website.Fast service, they offer a beverage with service.Pleasant Walk-in welcome, appointment as well. read more

I tried giving this place multiple chances because the prices are great but every single time I got gel polish it ended up turning yellow and I complained about it in the past...kind of sad really good customer service though read more

I've been to this place 3 times now, and while I have yet to be overly impressed (but it's super close to my house so I've been going for the convenience) my visit today was not good at all! I came in around 3pm and it was very slow... not only did everyone seem like they'd rather be anywhere but there, but 2 of the 4 staff members kept walking outside every few minutes to smoke cigarettes. I don't have a problem with people that smoke, but when you walk back in to do someone's pedicure/manicure.. at least spray something so I don't have to smell third hand cigarette smoke the whole time I'm getting my nails done. Second, I felt both the technicians I had were way too rough. I have an open cut on my finger from my manicure and an open cut from my pedicure. This is supposed to be relaxing, not painful. Plus, the guy that did my SNS manicure used the machine to file my natural nails down so much, I'll pretty much be forced to keep up the SNS or Gel until they grow out. Lastly... after I paid my $70 (which was way overpriced for the service I got), I walk outside and the aforementioned guy that kept walking out to smoke, was literally leaning on the hood of my car smoking his cigarette!! And when I mentioned he was on my car, all he said was "oh... I thought it was my owners car... it's the same color" (even though he literally watched me pull into that spot earlier b/c he was outside smoking then) I will never go back to this place. My nails weren't that great to begin with, but I'll happily drive further just to go to a place with more respectful staff. read more

Just visiting but dropped by to get my nails done. It was a fantastic experience. My friend was getting a pedicure right next to and the lady was humming while massaging her legs. It was AMAZING. Highly recommend. read more

This place was very disappointing. Not very clean. I went in for a full set. The shape of my nails were horrible and the paint job was even worse. Then about an hour or 2 after I left the gel paint started peeling so I had to come back to have it fixed. They didn't apologize for the inconvenience or offer some kind of coupon for another visit. They just did a cheap fix and sent me on my way. Avoid this place if you can. read more

They have a really wide range of colors and you can get a nice friendly vibe the moment you walk in. The crew is attentive and willing to help me get the nails I desire. I walk out happy every time I have my nails done here. I have gone to other nail salons as well but believe me this one stands out as my most favorite. Especially Rose, she's THE BEST. Period. They even offer free drinks if you ask for it, how awesome is that!! read more

absolutely horrible ! tony just a took a set of my nails off and he was so rough no commination or nothing he was probably the worst left my nails looking worse i couldn't wait to come in the car and cry tony is horrible and it was $15 to get my nails taken off bad customer servicr all around i don't recommend read more

If you want 5 star treatment at 3 star prices, this is the place to go. The store front may be unassuming but the staff is so accommodating you feel like a princess. We barely sat down and was offered water on a tray. My daughter and I got the Hawaiian Pedicure and it was the best pedicure I've ever had and I get pedicures ever couple of weeks. Extra care was taken to make sure my feet were smooth and massaged with quality products including fresh oranges. The massage chairs are extra soft and comfy. We even got a bonus neck massage after the pedicure. This is what a pedicure should be! Thank you to Mr Chan and Katy for your first class treatment. read more

I've been here twice for the Shellac manicure ($30 + tip). Mai, my technician, did a great job and my nails looked perfect for weeks. They usually aren't busy for you get right in. I appreciated that they offered you a cold drink if you wanted one. I would highly recommend. read more

Great place to get your nails done. Make an appointment, as they are often busy. Rose is absolutely great, along with everyone else. They try to squeeze everyone in and do an awesome job. Great prices, too! read more

Katie did my nails and eyebrows and I love how she listened to everything I said. She was able to fix my eyebrows and helped me figure out away to get the shape I want. I will be recommending this place to all my friends on Southside. read more

I'm new to Jacksonville. Been stressed with move needed a relaxing pedicure. Found this place on Google. Complete waste of my time! And unsanitary. So I told the woman do not cut my cuticles she did anyway. I should have repeated for the third time but at that point I don't think it would have come out nicely. What raised a is she did my manicure first. Then when she was done she told me to sit at chair. There was no water in the foot sink...okay. so I start texting and didn't catch her painting my toes with out washing my feet first so then I ask her I'm sorry what type of pedicure is this? She proceeds to laugh and say I wanted my toes painted. I said I wanted a pedicure! She didn't have any gloves on and most importantly why would she paint someone's toes that just walk in there without washing their feet first! Then told me she would do the pedicure after painting my nails Then they charged me $50!!!! ‍For a manicure without color! And she painted my toes with color gel polish. I am not sure why they charge that much but what can I say? I should have left as soon as she was done with my manicure! When I got home I had to scrub my feet and finger nails with alcohol and antibacterial soap just in case! Hopefully I won't catch hep C smh read more

Best gel color selection and nice massage chairs while you get your pedicure! There is wait sometimes but that comes with great service!

Got my eyebrows done by Katie ! She did amazing and she's so nice this is the only shop I go to for EVERYTHING!

Look out for the prices!! They charge you for EVERYTHING. Mani has a price but then they change $15 for gel and extra $15 for any finish. Ey! If you are charging me $35 for mani why do you feel necessary to charge extra $15 for gel nail polish? It doesn't end there, they push you to pay extra $15 to get the cat eye finish!!!!! $65 for a manicure?? I had to strongly say that I didn't want cat-eye because they didn't want me to look at the regular gel nail polish. Literally they take the other samples from you. They lost my business forever. read more

Very disappointed. My teenage daughter went here for a $25 manicure (paid for by her own money) but they ripped her off - never told her that they were doing services that constituted a "premium manicure" - then when she went to check out, told her it was $35!!!! Horrible service, dishonest business...who does that to a kid?!?! read more

I went to Nails.com on Beach Blvd for the first time yesterday. I had square-shaped nails and wanted an almond shape and the nail tech charged me $5 just for a shape change! This has never happened to me. If she had not already started on my nails, I would have left. But I stayed because I had to have my nails done for a business trip. The nail tech ended up doing a good job on my nails and they also gave me a 10% discount card to use for my next visit. Other than the charge for a shape change, it's a good salon and I would probably go back. read more

I came in this nail salon with long, coffin shaped acrylic nails that was done at a different shop. All I asked for was to have the acrylics removed and have gel put in. The male nail tech sat me down and immediately started to cut my acrylics short in length. It hurt. Then he started sliding a fake, plastic, piece of nail underneath the acrylics on my nail bed. I kept saying "OUCH" cuz it felt like he was ripping through my real nails, which were already fragile. He continued on and dismissed each time I told him he was hurting me. Then he instructed me to soak my hands in a bowl of acetone, which was fine. Then he tells me that it will take an hour with my nails sitting in acetone to come off. I told him that I have gotten my nails done so many times before and it has never taken an hour to get them off. After that he got up and came back with another bowl of water, which he proceeded to put the bowl of acetone in. He instructed me to soak my nails in it which I did until I noticed that the acetone suddenly got really hot. Too hot to put my hands in. I told him it was too hot. He stuck his finger in the bowl as if to show me that it wasn't hot for HIM. That's just it, just because it wasn't hot to him, it did not mean it wasn't too hot for me! I was absolutely appalled. The nail tech seemed irritated and impatient. After that, he took the machine that grinds the nails down and started to grind down the top of the acrylics on my nail beds. I pulled my hand away because it started to hurt my nails again like a burning sensation. That's when I finally had enough and got up and said to him, "No more, it hurts too much". The other staff members didn't do anything to offer me support. The nail tech that was working on my nails just said he would file my nails down, but I had enough and said "No, I don't want you to hurt me even more". One lady walked up to me and I showed her that my nail bed was bleeding and my real nail was ripped off. She offered to tape it down as a solution, which was ridiculous so I told her "no". That was the most they did for me and spoke in their own language, until I finally left their store with my dad and brother. This is the first time this has ever happened to me. Never in my life did I ever think in the 17 years of getting my nails done, that someone would be so reckless and careless to do this to me!! How could a business inflict harm on a customer and not be remorseful or offer a way to fix the situation without causing more harm? I wouldn't suggest anyone in Jacksonville to come to this place! read more

Sad to review this salon so poorly but the hand/ foot nail services are inconsistent, and overall below average after several visits. I've been cut by the callus scraper on my big toes twice; toenail polish was not applied evenly on the entire nail; polish never dried completely and multiple occasions. I've had to return to the salon to have polish reapplied a few times as it did not dry completely (they use small desk fans which are dirty) with the UV lights. Tried to give them a chance to improve on quality of service, but gave up. Other Yelp comments about redo services "attitude" are correct. read more

I went here a couple of weeks ago with my friend. I got grey gel polish while my friend wanted to get an ombré (red to black) with a matte finish. Mine was pretty simple I should think since it just consists of putting the polish on my nail and that's it. However, while buffing my nails, the technician really hurt my cuticles and even cut some of the skin on my fingers below the cuticle. She painted the polish onto my cuticles afterwards which has been causing the polish to lift and just looks bad. My friends technician told her that she could definitely do the ombré design that she showed her on her phone. That was definitely a lie because it looked like a lady bug afterwards. It was a clear distinction of red and black, not ombré in the slightest. Even though our technicians weren't the most skilled, they were pretty nice and we were both given $5 gift cards for our next visit (which is why I'm giving 2 stars instead of 0- which isn't possible). Unfortunately neither of those cards will be used since we won't be coming back. read more

I showed up 20 minutes before closing hoping they would be able to do a fill in for me. They were more than happy to accommodate me. The staff were courteous and they did a great job. The price was great too. Will be back again to see how their pedicures are. read more

They have a wonderful atmosphere and friendly. Clean business and a variety of things to consider with great prices!!!

This place is a joke! Read this before you go, as this review is an authentic one and not fake reviews listed by the store owner. To start with, do not bother to call and make an appointment, because they don't write your appointment down and work on a first come, first serve bases, even though they tell you that they are taking your appointment. Their webpage states that they do MINX and when calling, I made an appointment for a minx pedicure, but when I arrived, the lady said that they only do that at their southside location. When I came in, it was obvious that the lady was rushing my services in order to see other clients that were waiting (even though I had an appointment). I had a french pedicure and the pedicure was chipped within a week, which is rare for my feet. Usually my pedicures last around a month. I also had shellac done on my hands and I don't know what this lady put on my hands but it WAS NOT SHELLAC. The shellac was not drying and I had to be under the lamp for 20 min (Ive done shellac many times before and never had to be under the lamp for more than 3 min at a time). The shellac is supposed to last 2 weeks and I have been getting it done at other places for around 8 months and it has always lasted 2+ weeks(sometimes 4 weeks). With the shellac, it lasted less than a week, 6 days into it(when I was in Vegas), I looked down and the shellac on my pinky was ALLL GONE and the thumb shellac polish was coming off. This place is a complete joke, and I am going to be contacting CND Shellac so that they can't advertise doing the Shellac service, because they are obviously not competent to offer this service. read more

Very courteous ladies and they did a fantastic job on my nails, loving the color suggestion. Highly recommend.

If you want to be treated with Poor Customer Service then Nails.Com is your place. My Wife and I had been loyal customers for over two years going every three weeks. There had been two other problems with Poor Service. You make an appointment for a specific time with your regular technician and you wait for over an hour or while serving you they walk off and go and handle somebody else. Each time they apologize and say never happen again. Then two weeks ago we make an appointment, my wife is taken by her regular technician and mine Katie which is the owner and the one the past two times that walks off or takes somebody ahead of you without an appointment says. This lady has driven over 45 minutes and her first time customer. She blows me off and leaves me to sit. After 45 minutes I say forget it. My wife finishes just her manicure and we leave. We now go back and we have appointment and again Katie leaves now both of us to wait. We waited about an hour and then they try and get another technician. If you make an appointment forget it means nothing. If they are working with you and they can make more money with a different customer they will walk and leave you. Being a loyal customer means nothing to Katie the owner. read more

I have been to the Beach Blvd. location maybe 3 or 4 times. I normally only go a few times a year to treat myself. I was actually disappointed with my pedicure yesterday. I asked for the Regular pedicure, which included callus removal, which I really needed, seeing as how I hadn't had my feet done since July (it has been 6 months.) I went with a friend of mine and we both got the regular package. Our techs did the pedicures completely different. The entire reason I go get a pedicure is for the callus remover (because I can never get it as smooth as I normally would going to a salon.) I wanted my tech to use the Metal Pedicure foot file like the other tech used on my friend. This is what I have ALWAYS gotten no matter what salon I have gone to. But I did not receive the metal file because my tech claimed "I did not need it." I went back and forth with her about it and she insisted I did not need it. Although since I was paying for that part of the package, you would think she would at least humor me. She said she would normally only do it if my feet were hard. I guess our definition of hard is different, because my calluses are hard enough on my feet that it is actually painful. So here I am, the next day after my pedicure and my calluses are still very hard and visible. Needless to say, I will not be returning there. read more
