I had an appointment for noon but didn't get waited on til 12:12pm. These places bother me with that. Either stick to the appointments or do walk in only all day. Jar is who I use and she's good. I've only gotten pedicures from her. The place is nice. Nothing special. No special vibe. They play music and have TVs going with cooking shows all the time. This is my 2nd time coming here for a pedicure and I think it's the last time. She did the nails to square. Hardly filed. Not too happy about it. Nice people enough. Better nail techs out there. We were staying nearby and after seeing that this place had one of the better ratings in the area, I decided this was the spot. I needed some claws and a pedi so I came here about an hour before closing on Saturday, but I knew I only had time to do one or the other... so I went with the claws and I am SO HAPPY that I did! Upon entering they're were so warm and welcoming! Unlike other shops that demand to know what you want and to pick your color. Ben did my SNS set and I can honestly say it was one of the best sets I've ever had! Ben is meticulous, but still works in a timely manner. He's a total perfectionist and even admitted to it. When he saw flaws, he didn't pretend to not see them. Instead he told me that he's going to go back and fix it without me having to say anything. He was very friendly and kind! He saw I had a cut on my cuticle and he kept asking if it was hurting and if I was okay. So sweet! The salon itself is very clean and organized! There is a huuuge selection of colors on a wall behind where they sit. We live 30 mins away and I can honestly say that I would drive that far and pass a million other closer nail salons just to come back here. Thank you Ben! read more

I found this place by reading reviews on Yelp and I was not disappointed. Tia did a great job! She listened to what I wanted and she was very detail oriented. She also "cleaned up" my eyebrows and it was only $8. Good job there too. This picture shows my nails 2 days after I had them done and they look fantastic. I get acrylic nails with gel polish (so that they're dry when I leave there). They have a large selection of colors and the prices are pretty decent. We are well overdue for pedicures! Lariel had the "Peppermint Pedicure" and I chose the "Milk and Honey Pedicure." I am very happy with my choice. It's in a very nice plaza and we were greeted immediately and saw a plethora of nail colors. The gentlemen working on Lariel and I (Ken and Ben) introduced themselves before working on us which was a fresh breath of air. This is my preference instead of being ignored and treated like a task as I have been at other nail shops in the past. Ben asked me if it was okay prior to each tool he used. Welcome to summer and resort living...finally! I just got to Jacksonville last week from Weekie Wachee and desperately needed a fill in and nail art to kick it all off, but I needed to find a salon and a nail tech that was a good fit for me, no matter the drive. So, after DAYS of research, I had to find reviews that were not only positive, but the salon had to have enuf photos posted so I could inspect not only the quality of the acrylic work, but of the nail art that they have done, and I am happy to say that I found my new go-to girl in TIA!!!! Although there are several nail salons within my area, I told Tia that once I found someone with whom I meshed well with, it was worth a 30 minute ride, give or take. I also told her I would definitely be giving a review of her and the salon, and I keep my promises! Bella & Me Nail Salon is a nice, clean salon, and it's not a conveyor belt of rushed work, Tia is so friendly and we actually had enjoyable conversations throughout the time she was mending and filling my overgrown nails, thru the beautiful nail art she did on me. I always come prepared with my iPad where I use Pinterest to get my nail art ideas from, and my nails also needed reshaping because they were too wide, and all I had to do was show her what I wanted and how I wanted it, and she followed my lead and did such a FANTASTIC JOB!!! I will call for an appt when I am ready, and as promised, ur work is going to get noticed as I run about town and the resort where I'll my word of mouth will spread like wild fire as promised! Amazing! My grandmother, mother, & I came here after going to a nearby salon that was not able to service us. As soon as we walked in we were greeted politely and offered water. The atmosphere is so relaxing & neat; they play music softly in the background. I loved that this salon offered a ton of colors to choose from which were also available for matching (nails & toes). They also wear the cutest "I nails" aprons. The pedicure bowls contain plastic wrap, which is a big plus if you are wary of sanitation/germs. During my pedicure I almost fell asleep because it was so relaxing but unfortunately my water was not as hot as I would have liked (no big deal). My manicure was a bit rushed but only because several people began to come in & there were only 3 present technicians. I noticed that there were not many seats, so I would advise going when they first open or during a time they are not busy. They do make appointments too. There is one restroom for customers, it was clean when I used it. They are pricey but it's worth it! I would definitely come back here if visiting Jacksonville! read more

Never Will I Return there first impressions are everything. 1) My friend kid wanted Gel Polish on her fingers and toes. Just polish on an 8yr old was $75. Woww.Insane. 2) They don't have color dip Polish Only to learn this after she have started taking off my Polish.( Remind u now they ask what u want wen u enter) So I said since you don't have what I want just take off my previous Polish. She told me it would be $12. For a ficking soak off. 3) As I'm sitting there with my fingers wrapped in foil(15mins).she proceeds to go and work on the white female pedicure. The white female came in after me w/ no appointment. Only after calling it to the nail tech attention that she came back to finish my nail. Needless to say I was pissed off. This place is price gouging. And God forbid if you're other than Anglo-Saxon. read more

The man who did my SNS nails here, got up midway through and told me "to never come back" and someone else finished my service. When I asked about the situation all she said was "that I was taken care of and it didn't need to be talked about". They didn't give me any explanation for the situation or apologize for how he spoke to me. 1 star review for the customer service. I needed my nails done for my sisters wedding this weekend and I had a specific look in mind and she completely nailed it! Tried this place out for first time today. The guy who did my toes was very nice. He did a good job. The woman who was doing my daughters tried to be overbearing and do stuff that I had told my daughter specifically no. I'm the mom... not the owner. Also, she repeatedly pushed gel or the sns on me when I told her no. Basically, she just doesn't listen to direction at all. Then when they painted my nails it turned out super thick and uneven.... she basically just said she would take it off and put two coats and it would still be uneven. Bad customer service. I've gotten a manicure at Bella & Me nails twice now and I've been impressed both times. Their price for a basic manicure ($15) is the average for the area but I find it cleaner than most of the nail salons I've tried in the area. The staff is also very friendly and does a great job. It can get busy but I've found that if I show up right when they open I can get in and out pretty quickly. read more

This is my new favorite nail spot. Having just moved to the Jacksonville area a few months ago, I've bounced between a few shops but none have measured up to this one. Everyone is really friendly, and even on a busy evening after work they've always been really accommodating to walk-ins. The shop is also very clean, and they have the most gel color options I've ever seen. It's been a long time since I've had acrylics that look this good, (thanks to Wendy!) and even though they do a thorough job and take their time, I'm always out of there in a more than reasonable amount of time. Upon entering the salon everyone is friendly, helpful and beyond polite. We got two mani-pedi's and one pedi and we were seated together and had the best time. I got to have the pleasure of working with Jimmy and it was the best experience. After a botched DIY gel manicure (note to self: just say no), Jimmy fixed my friend's mistake with patience and grace and I walked out with a great looking gel mani and pedi!
