It's really hard to give my Favorite Spa less than 5-Stars. It's a relaxing environment, the tech becomes like your distant cousin that you check in with every once in a while. Also, there's wifi My Nail tech Miss Dara is a charm and accommodating. She shows her passion thru her work. This place is also a go to for my teenager when she wants something neat and simple. I have been going to PS Nails for years. Chris & Vivian are the very best., Van is also very good, so is Cindy. I always make an appointment, and am always taken on time. I will not go anywhere else. The prices are reasonable compared to other spas. read more

NEW ownership made a BIG difference! Very nice atmosphere and they definitely take care of you with little to no wait. They made sure I was comfortable, Kathy did my pedicure and it was great! She didn't rush she made sure I was happy with the outcome. Vivian did an amazing job on my SNS ombré, she took her time and didn't rush and that really makes a difference! read more

PS Nails - My cuticles are bad but that's my fault. LOVE the ombré! Thanks Vivian! - Nail Salons Near Me - Jacksonville, Florida

I got a full set ombré on 05/27 cost $55+$10 tip, which I believe to be a fair price. However, as you can see in the picture the detail work just is not there. Along my cuticles the acrylic was not shaved down and shaped correctly, you would expect a cleaner job for the price I'm paying. Not happy with the results, I will not be returning. I also came with a friend whom had her acrylics taken off and a gel manicure done. The tech hit her cuticle line numerous time with the drill causing bleeding on multiple nails. Anybody who gets their nails done understands how annoying this is. I gave two stars due to how clean and nice the salon was and also the staff was friendly. I really wanted to like this place but it just didn't work. 05/31 Update ** as of this morning two of the nails are already lifting completely. Please do not waste your money here. I changed from two star to one star. VERY disappointed. read more

Just had nails painted by vivian, she did a great job. Will come back in the future. Also had the spa pedi $38. Young man did my pedi, did great job. It is the next day...and upon closer examination I can see that second coat of Polish was not applied evenly... and all of my nails were like this. read more

. When I went to get my eyebrows and lip waxed I didn't expect to have my top lipped burned. I didn't realize it was an actual burn until I looked in the mirror as minor irritations are expected after waxing. I'm disappointed in the service but happy I'm not a professional model or someone who makes money from their skin/face. Hopefully this doesn't scar. SMH, please be mindful of the temp of the wax before applying it on your clients. This is unexceptable. read more

DO NOT GET THREADING DONE HERE! I got my eyebrows threaded for the first time here over the weekend along with a pedicure. The pedicure was fine (the gel polish is not perfect but it's okay). Upon walking on I noticed that they now do threading. I usually get my brows waxed but I decided to get them threaded for the first time since I've heard so many good things about it. That was a mistake on my part. After my pedicure the lady took me back to a room for my brows. I told her i just wanted my brows shaped up (not any thinner). She started threading them and it was very painful. This was my first time getting them threaded so i figured that was how it was supposed to feel. When she was done i looked in the mirror and realized they were not as i had envisioned. They were not as clean and sharp as they would be after a wax. But i was too scared and in pain to have her try and fix them. Upon returning home they were still very painful. The next day i looked in the mirror and noticed raised bumps and i thought i may have been having a reaction to the threading itself (like my skin was just agitated). Today i noticed black dots where the hair used to be and at first thought it was hair that was not removed properly, which is unacceptable in itself. However, the dots are actually little scabs where my skin was broken. I know it's my first time getting my eyebrows threaded but I really don't think i should have scabs on my skin!! Needless to say I will not be returning and if you do choose to get your eyebrows threaded here be very caseous!! read more

I've had several pedicures and one gel mani here. One pedi was pretty off, but overall I've been pleased. Most recently, I got the gel mani, done by Helen. It was done on July 19 and it still looks good apart from the grow out. This is the best my mani has ever lasted. I'll definitely be back to see Helen again soon! read more

I did not enjoy my experience. If I can do a less than a one I would have. The tech that was helping me burned my skin with a hot towel. My foot is blistering. They were inattentive and left several customers alone for almost an hour because they took other customers that walked in. There was one nice tech that was young and sweet. But, if you don't get her then I wouldn't suggest going. read more

Well... I can't even describe how disappointed I am. I was so happy that I finally found my new, go-to nail salon. I have never had nails break like this. Ripped part of my natural nail off. Nail bed is exposed. IT HURTS SO BAD. I definitely WILL NOT be coming back. read more

First time coming here! The place is very clean and up-to-date. It was busy busy when we arrived but again it was on a Monday around 4ish. We were greeted instantly and were asked what we needed done. I got acrylic done on my nails. He was very detailed and did a great job. I got charged extra $5 for glitter. Boo!! Not one of the best nor worst salon so I might come back. read more

This is the old Babylon Nail Spa. They've been under new management for over a year, but many of the same nail techs are there. I personally do not go to the new nail techs as I think they are in training (possibly). The same person does my gel mani every two weeks (since late February) and I couldn't be more pleased. His attention to detail and perfectionism have my nails beautifully done each time. It's always a pleasant atmosphere and I like the incorporation of technology for check-in and the points system. read more

My first time visiting PS Nail Salon. I met Vivian. I got a pedicure and SNS nails. I really enjoyed the pedicure. I also previewed the extraordinary designs that Vivian did on another stylist in the shop. The designs were different for each finger and beautiful. This time I only got designs on the two ring fingers which totaled $5. The shop was clean. They also have 2 smaller pedicure chairs for the little ladies in the making who want to come with mom or grandma to get pampered. I will definitely visit Vivian and the PS Salon again. read more

I saw an ad for this salon while looking for a new nail place close by with nail designs. The atmosphere is posh, the selection of pedicures is amazing and $$ priced. La Mei did my Spa pedicure (with hot stone, peppermint mask, and hot towel service, plus an awesome massage) - she was very attentive and friendly. She took her time and really made it a great experience and worth the money. Next Stephen did my manicure. My nails are long and natural so they are a bit weak. He recommended clear powder dip to strengthen them. Powder is a slight upcharge but will reinforce the nails without being as thick as acrylic or as thin as normal gel. He was detail oriented and relied on the drill a lot - even for my cuticles. He was incredibly gentle. I also got a new style of paint called Chrome, wanting rose gold kind of look. The Chrome gives it a silver hologram look when you put it over hot pink. Not gold but definitely rose-silver! Everyone was very attentive and friendly, and very much wanted me to be satisfied. I will definitely go back :) read more

I waited in the lobby for about an hour and 30 minutes and nobody even acknowledged me. This nail salon is immaculate, beautiful, and each of the technicians are highly professional. The polish is abundant and fresh, the massage chairs are wonderful, and Luna, who did my Mani/Pedi, is superb. The prices are reasonable and I can't say enough about PS Nails. They have it all! read more

Great and amazing staff. Wide variety of nail polish and gels. Very friendly and professional.

I got a pedicure from Joe. It was going well until he started digging hard on the side of my toe nail, it started bleeding and I was afraid he was going to pull the nail up! I yelled at him to stop, but he continued, saying he had to do it to prevent in grown toenails! Later, he even argued with me about it when I complained. I am never going back there again. Skip this place! read more

I hate to be one to complain but I came here to get an acrylic removal and gel on my natural nails, the nail lady proceeded to carelessly rip my acrylics off with a plastic nail extension instead of soaking them in acetone. She ended up ripping layers off of my natural nails as well as a piece of my nail bed. I still paid. read more

I have been here several times since we moved from the beach. The first time, an inexperienced girl did my nails - she had to receive step-by-step instruction from another man to do my nails (I received SNS Gel Nails). When I left, the nails were uneven. I went back about a week later because they were all falling off. They refused to replace them for free; I had never had nails fall off within less than a week. This should have been my first sign not to return! I had my nails done twice more without any problems. However, this last visit, the nail process itself was fine, until about 6 days later when I saw black spots under my fake nails. I lifted up the nails to find out it was actually green fungus - on 8/10 nails! That is very alarming and from my research I have found that this is actually a bacteria caused by equipment that wasn't disinfected. I will never be returning to PS nails and I am now taking oral antibiotics, as well as using two different creams to try to rid my nails of fungus. The doctor says it will take 6-12 months! read more

I was in Mandarin with some time to kill and decided to stop into PS Nails for a manicure. I believe the man who did my nails is the owner, he was great. I just got a basic manicure but I'm very happy with it. They had a lot of color selections and the place is huge and clean. I mentioned while he was doing my nails that I never know how to file my own nails and they end up a mess. He actually gave me a mini lesson on how to file them depending on what shape nail I want. I was very happy with the experience overall. read more

I generally love this place. If you go, I highly recommend to make an appointment with Linda, but if you get another technician, like I had to deal with today it's a total crap shoot. (Linda is off Wed and Thurs) They don't care and the corners of my nails aren't painted, so they look horrible and will look worse as they grow out. My nails aren't filed correctly, which my boyfriend likes because they are talon sharp, but they will hang on everything. $30 for a gel manicure. I'm over it and unless I can get Linda, I'm going to look for another place. I've gotten my nails done here for years, but I'm sick of the crappy, overpriced service I get when I don't get the right technician. read more

I've gotten my nails done here twice, each time the gel polish flaked off in less than a week, and the paint was uneven and splotchy. Very disappointing, considering the prices are on the higher end. Won't be coming back again. read more

Gave PS Nails a try in 2 different occasions. The first was an acrylic filling French The second one was a spa pedicure that cost $38. After a couple of days The white part of their polish on the French manicure chipped off on some of the nails. The pedicure was overpriced for what it was it was still rough around my toes the polish hard skin around the toes wasn't removed, the polish looked globby and too thick I didn't look right, I think she tried to put too much at first and he just didn't look right. Also polish for on my skin around the toenails and she didn't clean it. I kept asking her to massage my toes and either she didn't understand me or ignored it she didn't do it. You can get a better manicure somewhere else for 21-23 dollars. Also they're starting price for pedicures is $27. Not worth it. read more

2nd visit and yes this will be a regular thing. I love the semi private areas and high hygienic standards. The pedicures are decadent and relaxing and the manicures are on point. I also adore how they top off a facial waxing with real fridge cooled aloe, it really eased the redness I usually get. read more

The place was decorated very modern and had a tablet to sign in and a slide show playing. The guy that greeted us didn't greet us with indifference but it didn't feel rude. The girl that did my nails was nice to me but she had a constant scowl on her face. My friend that went with me said she was worried for me that the girl wasn't going to do a good job. The girl tried using dirty cuticle nippers on me because there was already someone's skin on it. She changed them when she realized I was watching. My gel looks good, there is one nail with a thick gel polish blob on it but I would probably try the place again. However, I would probably try someone other than the girl I had next time. read more

I love this place. I come here as often as I can and Linda always takes the best care of me. My toe nails are always imperfect when I go in and she makes them pretty again. My fingers are often beaten up when I schedule an appointment too but Linda always makes them healthy. She makes me feel pretty and never says a bad word about the rough conditions I bring my nails to her in. Prices are reasonable and Linda is my favorite, but they are all very good at their job. I always schedule my appointment on line but walk ins are accepted too. It's worth the stop. read more

Very professional, great extended hours, no rush, nice focus in their job and not long chatting with each other's

I was trying to kill some time before an interview and wanted a good nail salon in the area. I looked at reviews and decided that I would try it out. I was overly impressed and will definitely be back in the future. Tony did and amazing job as well as the rest of the staff was entertaining. The prices were reasonable and I had just enough conversation and a glass of wine. I'm very picky and I would recommend this nail salon. read more
