I love this nail salon! I have been coming here since I moved to Austin in September of 2015. They always do an amazing job and they are always so kind. They are also very fast too which can be very beneficial if you are in a rush and need your pedicure and manicure done at once. Now of course if you are there to relax, they will do one at a time! I usually have Kim or Nikki do my mani and pedi. They have switched owners about 6-8 months ago and the new owner is super nice and works very hard. This place is your typical mani-pedi joint. However, when I was in there over the summer a lot (I don't bother getting my toes done in the winter) they seemed to have slipped a little bit in cleanliness and functionality. The massage chair I had (isn't that the best part anyway?) didn't work at all. I was seriously disappointed that they made me sit in it. To make matters worse, those knobs start to hurt after a while if they're not moving around. You can walk in and get a cheap touch up done. Just don't have too high expectations. read more

Clean place, friendly ladies, and they have a really nice collection of gel and regular nail polishes. They have started lining the tubs with protective plastic, so there's a hygiene metric even I didn't know I wanted! They are very hospitable and asked me if I wanted any beverages or if I wanted to watch TV or change the music. My 6 year old cousin came with me as well and she comes here often with my aunt for manicures, especially the nail art. So if you're into that, you should ask these nice ladies! I cheated on my usual nail place only out of total desperation for a pedicure. The ladies were all very friendly - but my pedicure bath water was lukewarm. I had their deluxe pedicure which wasn't as great as i would expect from a $35 pedi. Next time i'll just hold off and go to my usual nail salon. read more

Incompetency. My pinkie was bleeding by the end. On 8/15/15, I went in for a shellac manicure and normal pedicure. One woman, Brittany, and her coworker worked on my toenails and fingernails. They didn't clean my fingernails properly; I found dirt under them after they applied the first coat. They hurt my toenails when they were cleaning the dirt out of them. In addition, I had a blister on my pinkie toe and they didn't seem to be aware of it or treat it with consideration. The shellac nails kept messing up, too. Eventually, they removed the coat and suggested another brand with the same color. As they were scraping the nail polish off, Brittany's coworker sliced my finger with a tool. It hurt, and it stung. Of course, she apologized profusely and said, "It's a new tool, it's so sharp, I'm sorry" and she disinfected my finger. I left without a manicure, because I wasn't letting them touch my nails again. All this keeping in mind, I'm sure they have great employees, but Brittany and her coworker seemed incompetent. I was NOT pleased. read more

My mom, sister and I have been coming here for years with good reason! They take relationships with their clients very seriously and you'll often find that most of their clientele have been coming for 5 or 10 years or longer. Nikki always takes the time to ensure my visions come to life, and everyone there is so attentive and caring. They recently remolded which gives them a more luxe feel, but the pricing is still very fair and they are very upfront about upcharges. I hope to keep coming for years to come! read more

The first time I came here, I got a mani pedi with SNS nails. The lady doing my pedicure cut my toe. I chalked it as a one off and went back yesterday to get my SNS done again. Thw lady that did my nails cut 5 out of 10 of my fingers right at the cuticle. My nails look professionally done except the cuticles, which is nice however, I have scabs from this experience and I will not be returning. read more

Three stars only because I made the mistake of getting my eyebrows waxed and they made them very uneven and very badly noticeable. Never again will I go anywhere if my eyebrow girl is out of town. My boyfriend was getting his hair cut next door at Sports Clips, so I decided to go in and get an eyebrow wax. The older lady who did my eyebrow was eating or chewing on something unpleasant most of the time. She did a good job at arching my eyebrows but I still had to tweeze some obvious hairs away. My $7 eyebrow wax at US Nails (William Canyon & South 1st) is WAY BETTER and CHEAPER than this $10 eyebrow wax. The ladies never even asked me if I wanted any other services so I left and walked next door. Since my boyfriend was still waiting to get a haircut, I came back in and decided to try the pedicure. The lady was not very personable and didn't even offer a drink. When she was putting my flip flops on, I accidentally smudged my toe and the lady started snickering which I thought was SO RUDE. I will not be coming back to this place. There are way better places for cheaper. read more

Read some of bad reviews before I went here, but they all seem to be before the new ownership took over. Stopped in there today and greeted right away asked what if they could help me, typical, and then asked me to pick a color. Could have been doing that for a long time. A lot of colors and SMS as well. I told Ann what color I was in the mood for and she helped me find one quickly. My last experience at a nail salon was NOT good. This more than made up for it. I was offered a beverage of choice including the adult variety but passed since I had my coffee, but note for next time. I splurged on an upgraded Pedi and it was worth every penny. I had a great first experience here! I usually go to a different place that is cheaper and closer to my house, but last week when I went to my usual place I got a different lady who completely RUINED my nails. In a panic because I have to attend a black tie wedding tonight, I found Nails by Pro this morning and everyone was so sweet and helpful as soon as I walked in and explained what had happened. Bobby was the one who worked with me - he had to completely remove my horrible previous acrylics, file everything down again and start over on my thin stubby nails. But he did AMAZING work!! My nails look fantastic! He was so nice, paid attention to every detail, and to top it off I was in and out of the place in probably under 30 minutes. 10/10 would recommend to anyone looking for amazing nail work, y'all definitely gained a long term customer!! read more

These guys suck. They run their shop like a car mechanic, which is not the right experience for a peticure or manicure. They also lie about how long it will take for them to get you in there, figuring that you will sit and wait and then pay. When my wife complained about how they made her wait 30 minutes past her appointment time, and had to leave because she had to be somewhere else, they said "Don't come back". Losers. read more

The lady that works here says it will be 10 min. Reasonable considering every nail lady has a customer. I didn't even have time to pick a color before I'm told to take a seat at a chair. "Awesome!" I agree that hot water should kill my nasty germs between my toes. But the water is so hot I ask the other lady to turn it down. Well. With that said. My feet are now soaking in cold water. Why you ask? Because its been 30 minutes and not one tech has started my pedi. how frustrating. At least if I waited in the lobby area I could leave! I've gone here twice now. The first time I loved it and was very impressed with the foot massage. It's close to my home so I was excited about this find. However, I just went for the second time and I am extremely disappointed. While my toes look nice, there was no lotion or massage. I went today for a Mani and Pedi...it was eaaaaa. My nails look as though my 4 year old files them and instead of my clear polished nails looking smooth they have scratches all over them because they used a rough sanding block on them. Lets not talk about hang nails, cause they skipped those completely. For $35 I expect at very least no gang nails and crooked filed fingernails.
