Pretty sure this is the worst manicure I've ever received. Acrylic with gel on top. All nails are different shapes when they were suppose to be almond shape. All have bumps and aren't smooth. Please do not go here. Go to LUV nails on William Cannon. This was the worst pedicure I've had in the longest time. She barely filed, didn't push back my cuticle. Attempted to cut the side walls of my toenails when I have perfectly good mail beds and no ingrown nails. I got the organic and she used regular deluxe (not organic) Voesch products from a box. I asked about them and why they don't say organic on the box and some woman started to explain this is what comes with the organic pedicure. Service was less than mediocre. Massage had no pressure. She barely spoke English so communicating what I wanted was out of the question. Never again. Even Pearl nails is better than this establishment. My usual place was booked. I came in to get my acrylics removed and dip put on my natural nail. My nail tech proceeded to soak my hands which I'm used to, but it was too soon and she started to remove my acrylics with a nail clipper by peeling off my nail bed, causing some nails to crack. This process took forever when she should've just let them soak a little bit longer. After when doing my dip, my nails are uneven almost on every single nail and it all cost me $65 yet the prices on the menu did not reflect won't be going back here. Had me standing there for a minute just to tell me to come back when the person that greeted me could have said that to begin with.

If I could give it less then one star I would. Made a reservation..... had to wait 30 minutes before anyone got to me. Had 3 girls with me. By the time one of the girls was finished the last girl had just got started. The water was freezing half way through. The place was very unsanitary. Crumbs in the chairs. Little children running around making all kinds of noise screaming and falling down right before my eyes. I come here to get away from my kids. The lady that did my toes cut my way to short it hurt after she cut them. The costumer service sucked. The lady never asked how my day was or tried to make small talk. She was trying to make phone calls while giving me a pedicure. Over all I will not be returning to this place. read more

DO NOT GO HERE This was the worst pedicure and gel fill I've ever had. The guy that did my nails put the acrylic on my actual cuticles and fingers. The gel polish started peeling after 2 days. None of my nails were even. All of my nails were different sizes. While I was choosing which pedicure I wanted, he made sure to mention the time that they closed. I came here with some friends after having made an appointment for Sunday morning right when they opened and I'm glad I gave this place a second chance! I tried pedicure #3 with fatigued calves relief which included a paraffin wax and it was ahhhmazing! The nail technician did an amazing job cleaning my toenails and underneath my feet, she was very thorough. She even gave an extensive leg and foot massage which is just what I wanted. For $45 I feel like it's a reasonable price for what you're getting. They also have a pedicure #1 with scrub for $30 and a deluxe pedicure #2 for $35 so definitely good pricing. I'm pleased with this salon and will be back. 10/10 recommend. read more

It took me a while to write this but I decided now is the best time since I'm currently in the process of looking for a new salon for a mani and pedi. I used to love this place. I have been going here since I moved to Austin almost 4 years ago. However, the last few months have been the worst. First of all, I started bringing my partner here. He had never had a manicure or pedicure and was super excited to come here since I would rant and rave so much about this place. I would normally call in and make appointments. The first time I called and asked for an appointment for 2. When I get there the lady argues with me in front of everyone stating that I only said 1. I asked her why would I say 1 and they know for the last few months I have been coming in with my partner and that was our spa day. She was relentless and I told her I refuse to continue going back and forth with her in front of other customers who, like me, were there to relax. Fast forward to the second time I called for an appointment (once again for 2). I get there and they say they can only do one of our pedicures because the guy that works there only works on females, not men. So my boyfriend and I decided he would get a manicure and I would get a pedicure and we could come back the next day for his pedicure and my manicure just so he wouldn't have to wait on me. As they are doing his manicure he asks for something to be corrected that wasn't done previously and in front of everyone she throws a tantrum and says "you are going to make me work hard today!" He thought she was joking but she was really upset that she HAD to do her damn job! The nerve!!! That was the final straw with him. I went back the next day for my manicure and they asked where he was and I told them the reason he didn't come back. That was probably about 4 months ago and we haven't been back since. Like I said I was a loyal customer and would always treat them all with respect and tipped them very well. But they lost a loyal customer now. You can't treat my partner wrong and think I'm still going to continue to support you. Until they get it together we will NOT be going back and will take our business somewhere it is appreciated. read more

This place is terrible! Made an appointment at 6pm for four people. It's now 6:30pm and No one has started my pedicure. My water is cold, they don't offer you a beverage and their children and running around. After doing some research it appears we've been catfished. We came here because the reviews were high just to find out that the "lovely nails & spa" that used to be here just changed their name. They changed the name due to terrible reviews. Nothing has changed. It smells like chemicals. The massage chairs are old and broken down. They more likely to injure your body than relive it from pain. I'm so confused on how this place has such high reviews..I do not recommend this place! read more

I cannot recommend this place enough! My experience here was amazing, 10/10! I have been to LOTS of nail salons in the Austin area and usually get either SNS or gel. One thing I have experienced pretty much across the board is that the person doing my nails is usually in a hurry and not worried about excellence. I've had my fair share of bad manicure experiences. But this place is different! Austin did my nails and she did an AMAZING job. I definitely recommend scheduling an appointment with her and asking for her (Austin). She took her time, payed attention to detail, and gave me an incredible manicure that she made sure I was happy with. It used to be called LOVELY NAILS. I went there all the time, it was my hangout. Since the change in name to MADALYNNE'S, new faces have arrived. And with those new faces came old greedy thinking. Their motto went from better than average customer service to let's see how many people we can do at one time, per nail tech. They do not listen to what the customer asks for. They will acknowledge that they can do something that you are asking for only to get you in the hot seat. They have conformed to be just like every other mediocre nail salon. read more

This salon was my go to place for mani pedis. After getting vaccinated a few months ago, I returned and have noticed that they don't seem as able to start scheduled appointments on time. I always schedule an appointment and show up on time. The last few times I have come in my treatments have started 10-15 minutes after they were scheduled. Today I arrived on time and waited 15 minutes in the sitting area before someone came to tell me it would be 10 more minutes before my services would start. Now I understand that sometimes things happen, but waiting 15 minutes until after my appointment time to tell me it would be 10 more minutes is pretty unprofessional. What was more frustrating was the response I received when I noted that my appointment would be starting 25 minutes after the time it was scheduled to start. I asked for her to schedule me closer to the time they could actually accommodate me or phone me to let me know they were running late. The woman got defensive and used the excuse that if other customers are late that there's nothing she can do about it. When I asked if they could call next time when this happens, she noted that the salon was too busy to call and let customers know that they were not running on schedule. A salon that values the business of a regular client should be staffed well enough to communicate with their clients when they run off schedule, especially when that client has an appointment for a specific time. It's called professional courtesy. The nail technicians do a great job and that's the only reason why this is a 3 star review. I give them zero stars for professionalism and business acumen. I would like to think my time and my business is valued. But I left today feeling that was not the case. It's convenient to where I live but I may need to try out other places that respect their customer's time. read more

I love this nail salon! The staff is super friendly and they always do a great job. I get the SNS powder done on my nails and they know how to do it right so it doesn't hurt your nails and it lasts for 6 weeks and would last longer if my nails didn't grow so quickly. Madalynne (whom the salon is named after) is so precious! Hopefully, she will be there when you are and you will get to meet her! The owner, Lan, is amazing and such a wonderful person! Went around to the next nearest salon Got Nails and got my brows and lip waxed .. 5 min worth of work $20. I don't think they would have been too busy for a full set and a pedicure .. after leaving this review management replied that they offer call ahead appointments and online booking to secure a time .. I feel like that should have been stated at the time .. the person who said we are too busy didn't even give any other options. Bottom line is I was prejudged and they didn't want me as a client . I have been to several nail salons and none have ever turned me away without an option to come later or wait if I prefer to . That was my first and last time walking into this place .
