Walked in without an appointment on a weekday, early afternoon and it was pretty busy! I thought, oh no I'm going to have to wait a while, but nope! They got right to me. I only got a pedi this time because it was my first time here. Ivy did a very good job on my toes and feet. She also gives a real leg massage, not a pretend one! It's a bit pricier than where I have been going the last several years at $48 for just one level over the most basic (they have MANY levels) but it was a good experience. The chairs are in great condition, they appear new. They have a good massage system in them and are comfortable. I will try a mani and a pedi next time and hopefully it will be so good that the extra cost will be a non issue :) read more

This place is below average. I am not a hard person to please and have never broken nail with hard gel, before I came here. The first time I came it took them 40 minutes into my manicure to have someone help me with a pedicure, mind you there were 4 employees sitting on chairs on their phone, bizarre. When i asked for the 3rd time when my pedicure would start, the lady says "Oh you want them at the same time?" No... I want to be here for hours and waste my time. Lol. The guy who did my pedicure barely cut my cuticles and gave me a sloppy pedicure. The lady who did my 'hard gel' manicure gave me the most thin layer of gel that one of my nails broke a day later. Mind you, I haven't had a nail break in YEARS. I decided to come back a 2nd time. I asked for white on my toes. I had to ask for it to be redone 3 different times because the lady who painted it made it look like a blob of paint with two very obvious layers. It took 3 different employees to do a clean job and it is still not great. They kept telling me 'gel looks better' although I did not want or ask for gel, just regular paint. You should be able to paint white nails, that's your job. I had the lady put a fake nail on my broken nail, the way she filed it, it's now crooked and it points inward. I was honestly really really excited about trying this place because I was yet to find a good nail salon in the belterra neighborhood. I got builder gel on my nails and regular gel on my toes. The builder gel fully doesn't cover my nails. The nails themselves are super uneven. But the worst part of it was my pedicure. The tech was jamming the tools into the sides of my toenails. And making me bleed it hurt and I expressed it multiple times yet he kept going. My big toe nails are way smaller than I wanted because I said I didn't want them cut and he still did it. My toe nail is now infected and I am going to have to pay way more than I did for this mani and pedi than I wanted to. read more

If I didn't have any shame I would have gotten up and left mid pedi. She basically filled my whole foot and did a total hack job on my cuticles. If I could put ZERO STARS I would. DO NOT GO HERE. The whole place is unsanitary and totally unprofessional. There was clipped fingernail on the "fresh towel " that I put my hand on for my manicure and while the lady was buffing my heel ( without any gloves) she collected all of the dead skin in her palm and actually had me look away from the other lady doing my nails and wanted me to TOUCH THE PILE OF DEAD SKIN. When my manicure was finally started it was terrible. The lines were wobbly and my cuticles were never addressed. However, when she finally finished there was nails polish under my nails and on my skin but instead of using nails polish remover she CLIPPED AWAY AT MY HEALTH SKIN and actually caused me physical pay. A person told me her name Lee made my daughter's eyebrow and did it terrible very badly I'm very angry because they have no idea how my daughter felt. Hwy W 290 needs a nice nail shop SO BAD. The good: -they have a hilariously awesome kids spa chair that my daughter would dig -the staff was friendly -we came in on the last day they offered 20% off for the grand opening The bad: -I ended up just getting a regular manicure/pedicure with polish because I found their gel prices to be extremely high! -the hand/arm massage was non-existant -I had grey gel on my nails before this baby pink polish manicure and they didn't take all the grey off the sides. She made it sound like the polish would cover but she didn't even try. I wasn't pleased with the end product with grey showing on the sides of most nails, but I didn't have any more time to stay due to my babysitter. You can tell Kim enjoys her job and cares about the quality of her work. I found a design I liked on Pinterest and she helped pick out the colors to match and a color that would match my toes. I walked in for a pedi and SNS on my hands. I got back to a pedicure chair immediately and my nail tech started on my toes. I asked her to trim my nails straight across as I have dealt with ingrown toe nails in the past. Instead she digs around on the sides of my toes and cuts my nails in a very short round shape. She then took a phone call and stopped working on me, her phone was passed back and forth amongst the staff on speaker phone and then back to her. Then suddenly all the staff got up and just left the store, including the tech that was doing my nails... I was still in the chair with half of my nails trimmed and the one girl that stayed behind wrapped my hands to soak off the SNS and then resumed my pedicure. At least 4 customers walked in and the store had no other employees to serve them so my lonesome nail tech had to stop my pedicure several times to answer their questions and run interference. 30 mins later, 1 staff member returns. The girl that was doing my pedicure stopped and the new girl took over. I opted out of getting my SNS redone on my hands and just asked them to stop and take off what had been on originally. On top of that the paint job on my toes was so rushed that she got polish all over my cuticles with no effort to clean it up. Terrible experience, terrible and unprofessional customer service. This has been my go-to place since they opened so it pains me to write this. The work is normally good, but the service has really gotten bad. The last two times I walked in, they said it would be a few minutes and put me in a chair where I would wait up to 30 minutes. Okay, I get that can happen with walk ins so today I called around 12 and asked about an appointment. She said they were busy until at least 3 so could I come in at 4:00. A little late for what I wanted but I said sure and rearranged my day. I got there at 3:55 and saw that all three people were busy, but they immediatly put me in a chair with water. It seems like they think once they get you in the chair you will stay no matter how long you wait. I saw the person was starting to paint someone's toenails so I knew they would not be on time. She finished up and then went somewhere in the back and that was the last I saw her. I decided that 15 minutes late would be the amount of time I would allow for them to get started. I may be picky but when I make an appointment, I expect it to be honored especially when I changed up my day and made it around their schedule. At 4:15 with no one in site, I walked out since I wasn't sure how long they were going to have me sit there. I hate having to find a new place but what I hate more is a disregard for my time when I have made an appointment and show up on time for it. I won't go back. read more

Extremely rude staff. LAUGHABLE considering they don't give you half the skill or service that others in Austin provide for the same low price. The woman who did my nails me jerked me around harshly. Constantly critiqued my finger placement. Basically refused to touch my hands when they started sweating because she made me so nervous. I gave them a second shot, same experience. I'm not stingy by any means with my tipping and figured that MIGHT change my second experience. Nope. I've gotten my nails done elsewhere with ZERO issues with the way I hold my hands (which is normal, I just have longer fingers so if you're jerking them around I'm going to try not to let them hit anything). And each time I went for dip powder she did the bare minimum with shaping them and smoothing them out on top. The whole experience felt unhealthy.
