I rarely wait because I have an appointment with the same people. It appears people get in quickly however without an appointment. Staff was kind(ish) and service was barley sufficient but that's where the good times end. It was just short of $300 for two mani pedis with gel x. We were quoted and selected $20 pedis and $40 manis but there was an up charge for a simple French tip design that made it $71 somehow? The color was cat eye which requires a magnet before curing to get the desired effect that was not done at all so it just looked like a regular glitter polish. I assume cat eye polish was part of the additional charges, but was not even delivered. The gel x mani was so think and uneven underneath from excess glue, we had to ask to have it drilled to thin it out so it would cover the tip of the fingers AFTER the service was completed and they walked away. They chose a different color than requested for the other mani that used builder gel and cost more without telling us. So much product was used that it burned under the UV for every single finger, which we had never experienced before. The person who was swindled into builder gel was ignored by the nail tech and she kept making faces and not even trying to chat or address concerns during manicure. Then one of us didn't even receive a full pedi with them skipping two steps (only got a pumice with no foot file OR callus shaver) the other receive but charged the same. At check out the bill was shocking, but not just that, the card reader only took $260 so there was a remaining balance. The cashier then said she couldn't run it again so I suggested she close this transaction and create another one for the remaining $35. She said it wasn't possible and argued that we pay cash or use the atm. We didn't have cash or an atm card so this was not an option. After 10 minutes of deliberation, cashier ended up doing exactly what I first recommended, so it wasn't a problem in the first place and was possible the whole time. Confusing experience and definitely felt taken advantage of the whole time. Product turned out fine but no where near worth the cost. We aren't made of money so these few are far between pampering days are such a treat and this one left us feeling like we were taken for a ride. Pattern at this place of them saying they have availability and take you in and sit you in a pedicure chair with water to then make you sit and wait 30-45 min. Happened to me again today and I'm realizing it's not a one off but this is what they do. When I can I'm I asked if they had time for a pedicure she said yes and sat me at a pedicure chair. I asked how long she said 5 min. It has now been 38 min and the tech is just coming to start. Be warned this is their MO here so if you don't have time to wait don't sit down unless someone is actually ready to take you. read more

I do not have sensitive skin at all, but the wax they used was way too hot and ended up taking some of my skin off. The woman who did my nails was so rough. She cut the cuticles on two of my fingers so deep to the point they started bleeding. The whole time she was rushing. Pushing my hands away. I go to this place often and is my pedicure place of choice. If you go on a weekend at they typically have people available and you do not have to wait long. The staff is friendly. Yesterday the lady was a little odd but I'm gonna chalk it down to a language barrier. She also was not great at the foot massage which is my favorite part. But... I do go here usually and they are usually great at the foot massage part. Overall I will keep going because my toes look good and they can always get me in. read more

I've been to this salon before so I thought we were in for a treat. Went w my daughter & granddaughters we made an apt so we were all able to walk in and be seated right away. The services were for me subpar - I had a Golden mani & golden pedi and not even 24 hours later my nails are all chipped and the polish is coming off. When I was getting my pedi the nail tech put the wax into the cold water from my feet soak that STILL hadn't been drained. So the wax was hardened and did NOTHING. Hours later my feet were all dry and it didn't even look like o had paid $100 for my services. Also the tech didn't even trim the cuticles on my nails. This was exactly what I needed at this time. In dripping springs to watch my grandson while my kids were on their long overdue honeymoon, I had a moment to get away and relax. The reviews on Yelp didn't have me sold between this one or Happy Nails but after lunching at Torchys this was closest. I was greeted from a technician who was working on a customer who asked me to sign in on a simple to use terminal asking for my cell. Place is a normal strip center nail salon but they had beautiful light fixtures, cheery color scheme and calming cloud-painted ceiling. They sat me after I picked my color for my pedicure and took some time (-10 minutes) to assign a technician to me to fill the tub and select pedi type. I chose the largest one at $55 called First Lady. It included the basics, plus a massage lotion trio flight. Probably 45 minutes worth. Then hot stone massage, paraffin treatment and color on toes. Perfect! I had a complimentary glass of white wine (i had to ask for it but they were warmly responsive). Chair massage was difficult to work or partially broken but probably user error. I had wonderful conversation with Lisa my nail tech who did a wonderful job. Wax water and sprays were extreme in temps. Either hot hot or too cold but they adjusted when I notified them of it. She took extra care to remove a skin blister I had on top of my toe. I felt nothing. Temperature in room was a little warm to my liking and then it would cool briefly and then return to too warm. The music there is instrumental and peaceful but there must be only 3-4 songs because it was noticeably repetitive and became a little annoying. The timers they used to help them stay honest on their time spent on customers were toooooooo loud. Shocking at times which could also be attributed to how relaxed I felt from how good Lisa was. She did have to take a personal call while finishing my nails but it didn't bother me. I only note so the four stars is understood rather than five. This was an off time - 1pm on a Tuesday so I cant speak to how it would be during peak times. I'll be back though and asking for Lisa so we can continue where we left off. I brought my handicap mother in-law in for her appointment to have a facial wax and manicure. She got the manicure and after waiting for 15 minutes we asked when they were going to do the facial wax. The day before my wedding, I brought my entire bridal party here and it was a huge mistake. As the bride, I really wanted my toes to be a light pink, and they started painting my toes an orange that was entirely different. When I asked them to correct the color, they kept pushing back and telling me I was "picky." When I asked them to go get the color, they kept saying it was the number I had picked...so my maid of honor had to go get the color and show them how different they were. The technician working with my mom says, "bride picky...." and the whole situation was handled VERY poorly. By the time we got an actual pink, my ENTIRE bridal party was finished and headed to lunch while I finished my toes. Afterwards, I told them I would never be recommending this place because of how horrible the experience made me feel, and rather than any type of apology, they kept saying "you picked color." Extremely frustrating. I will never be returning, nor would I recommend this place to anyone because of the poor and RUDE customer service. read more

Nail polish all over my toes, tech was throwing his snack trash in the foot bowl, super painful trimming that I had to speak up on and seemed relatively lost in what to do for the massage portion. I've been going to this nail salon for a while and getting SNS on my nails. It's always been hit or miss, it was just close-ish to where I live. They use a rough electric nail file to remove the polish after soaking them, and after a few times of this my nails were so thin they hurt. I have to now let them go natural so they can recover and grow out for several months. They have indentations and break and bend, it's awful. I'm going to try somewhere new. read more

I have been going to Belterra Nail Spa since they opened. My experience has been great customer service and great nails. I find the staff to be kind, helpful and provide as much of a spa-like experience as you could expect for a day spa. I typically get either a regular spa manicure or a gel manicure and a spa pedicure. I have gotten really good results each time. I do like their gel manicures as they seem to last longer than other nail places I have been to. They have a good color selection of fresh product. Today I was helped by Lisa, and she did a fabulous job with my nails. The owners, Eric and Villa (sp?) are friendly and run a great place. I even got my boyfriend to start going with me for a pedicure. At first, he was quite ticklish, but today I notice he was actually relaxing and enjoying the foot massage. The shop itself is kept very clean and the ambience is relaxing. It's my "go-to" place for a quick way to have some R&R during the week. Also want to mention they have plexiglass partitions, hand sanitizer, practice social distancing for the placement of their customers, and the staff wear masks properly, which is a plus during the pandemic, and made me feel safe. read more

The door clearly states walk-ins are welcome. Upon arrival, I was greeted and told to choose my color. I sat for 10 minutes in the lobby and then was escorted back to a pedicure chair. Now, I'm not one of the people who wears a mask every where or is afraid of normal germs...but this place made me feel other wise. It was INSANELY dirty. Like, pedicure chairs don't ever get wiped down, floors a mess, smelled...you name it. It was pretty disgusting. To top it off, the employee burnt my legs to the point I cried out when she literally threw a hot towel on my legs. I was red all over and some places stayed red for days. My mom and I came here for pedicures and I wanted to get a gel manicure too. First off, the salon is beautiful! Chandeliers and beautiful gold chairs. Lots of stations for both manicures and pedicures. We didn't have to spend hours in here which is the number 1 reason i am always hesitant to treat myself to mani/pedis. It always takes so long i have to be sure I have nothing else i need to get done that day. My pedicure went pretty quickly and like I already stated i initially wanted a gel manicure. Don't bother coming to Belterra Nail Spa if you're looking to have a wonderful pampering experience in a clean welcoming nail spa. The spa chairs were dirty, the water circulation was broken and the massage feature was pretty spotty. The aesthetician was sick and they burned my feet with the hot paraffin wax in the plastic baggies. They charged extra to remove gel polish. I asked if I could possibly have my nails cut a bit shorter and my request was completely ignored. I also have a damaged nail due to trauma and I requested to have some care to it which was also totally ignored. There were several clients who were clearly sick and coughing but still kept their appointments. Won't be coming back here. read more
