So my nails are weak and I always choose a basic manicure with the normal nail polish and not the gel so my natural nails don't get ruined. Well the guy shaved the top layer of my nail off for a regular manicure! He treated it like a gel manicure and now it will take months to get the hardness back. So if you care about your natural nail make sure they don't do that to you. I guess I didn't really notice at the time but when i got home I noticed the gel was super patchy and weird. I came in a few days later and this very rude gentleman asked if I had an appointment I said no I was hoping if y'all had time if the nail color that was placed on me a few days ago because it's patchy his response was "you came here" I said yes then looked day for several seconds looked up and said well you want us to fix it find a seat. I felt so uncomfortable in the tone he said it to me. I was nice and polite. I'm not sure what the issue was and if he's upset that they messed up my nails but I too was upset that paid for something I am not happy with. Had to go to urgent care and they prescribed me 2 antibiotics that I will be on for the next 7 days (it is not an ingrown toenail. Doctor confirmed it is an infection). Monica is fabulous! She is very meticulous and takes her time spoiling me. She does beautiful work! And is the sweetest! However, the shop itself is not clean. The tables, chairs and floors all are extremely dirty. The shop has no sense of style at all nor does it feel like a "spa". I love this place. However, if you want something, say it and make it known. One of the nail techs loves to do what he thinks I want. It caused an issue because he wouldn't listen this last time. He means well all of them do. I often come, so the manager finished my nails and made them a natural SNS look. They are kind and do a good job. If you break a nail after getting yours done, they will fix it free of charge, no question. They are super busy sometimes, so calling beforehand will save you some waiting. read more

I have been coming here for almost 2 years and after today's visit, I felt like it was time to give this place a review. I tried several other nail salons in the area before claiming Honey B as my regular spot. The technicians are always so nice and even help me pick colors when I'm having a hard time deciding. I always get SNS and it lasts 4-5 weeks! They have remote controlled massage chairs that are wonderful. The whole salon is very clean and they line and sanitize the pedicure sinks after each use. I even came here regularly during Covid (when they opened back up) and they did a great job keeping things safe and clean. Today I called to make an appointment (as I usually do) and when I arrived, my technician explained to me that they were short on staff and that he could do my mani/pedi and my daughter's also, but they didn't have enough staff to do us both at the same time. I told him it was totally fine because my daughter usually makes herself at home with all their complementary candy and that keeps her patient for a while. Unfortunately, there was no one working the front desk today (short on staff) and I saw a couple customers leave after they tired of waiting to be seen. Its unfortunate that those people had a negative experience today and in the event that they were to leave a bad review here, I wanted to make sure I left a favorable one. Ken was working hard to do my nails and handle the front desk and phones and it just couldn't all be juggled. The management here needs to make sure there is adequate staff to work front desk at all times so customers don't get ignored or forgotten. Again, I have been going here for almost 2 years and have never seen someone not at the front, so perhaps this was just an unfortunate event today. Ken is amazing and always makes sure that his customers are happy with their color and finished product. He really cares. If you haven't found a nail salon you love, give this place a try. I wish I had walked out. I got the classic pedicure. I didn't receive a massage, only a light sugar scrub that she couldn't even rinse off correctly also she scoffed when I walked in with gel already on my toes. She was absolutely so rude and tried moving my entire foot just by holding my PINKY TOE. I screamed. Not a single person there has any source of talent. I went with my friend and she walked out with nail polish all over her toes. They never got the dead skin off of both of our feet. Also they're equipment doesn't look sanitized in their baskets that they carry around it just looks thrown together but also my lady never changed the soaking wet towel under my feet for the entire pedicure. If i could give 0 stars i would. never in my life have I been treated with such disrespect in a nail salon. my lady got up and left for 15 minutes to be outside chatting on the phone when I had half my hand done. she did not follow the nail design I wanted and I actually got no design at all because i sat in the chair for almost 2 and a half hours. I asked for acrylic powder she gave me gel instead. she left remaining acrylic powder on the skin of my fingers and did not offer to wipe it off. The pregnant lady checking me out had to be the worst mannered human being on this earth. she argued with me about the price when it was a $45 job. I ended up paying 63.50 for 2 1/2 hrs of misery. Regardless the pregnant lady needs to be fired along with the other woman who wasted my time. this place is very understaffed and I guarantee it won't be around much longer. I've been getting my nails done since I was three years old and now I'm a grown woman and I've never been treated this way. it's a shame because I tip very well and I myself working customer service, no one Deserves to be treated this way. I sat for 40 minutes prior to being seen (which to me is crazy considering I made an appt). The service was fine other than the fact the person barely spoke to me and got up 6 times during my acrylic nail fill. Which seems like a lot so the service took longer than it should have taken. I was in the salon over 2 hours! I would say it also bothered me there was 17 people in the small salon space all together which I think don't they recommend no more than 10? I wasn't sure about the rules so I didn't say anything but that seems like a bit much. I've come here for months but now I'm on the hunt for a new place. read more

The color was see through and my nail tech was blaming me for the color I chose and wasn't really offering to fix it until the main guy, I'm thinking it was the owner that came over. He said it was the color I chose but he offered to fix it and was super nice to me. He got it fixed but this lady kept shaving the length down and made my nails a super awkward shape. I got charged extra for the shape I chose but it looks more like square than coffin. I just didn't say anything else because I already needed them to fix the color.
