Amazing service! If you do get your nails done, I HIGHLY recommend booking with Linda, she's gentle yet gets the job done quickly and efficiently ! I got a chrome/ pink bottom coat!

Tammy was amazing! I was able to walk in and be seen right away! She was very welcoming and did a fantastic job!

My mom invited me to join her for a pedicure at her favorite place: PKN Day Spa...YAY MOM (& YAY for me!)! Mai Le is awesome! 8 pedicure massage chairs, 6 dedicated nail stations. In 1 pic, a customer approved me to take/post her pic as she received both pedi and mani while she relaxed in the massage chair. COVID-handling: masks on, hand sanitizer present, and certificates of COVID prevention training displayed. PKN has great color choices! I chose a "psycho blue" for fun. Mai Le restored the smoothness of my feet and brought "life" back to my toes (long overdue bc of COVID!). PKN: highly recommend!

My artist, Tammy, painted little hearts for Valentine's Day! She did a great job. My mom and I visited and really enjoyed the experience. :)

I'm going to take the scenic route on this one, so bear with me. I promise there's a caboose on this train of thought. This is an interesting period of transition for me and my nineteen-year-old daughter, because she's almost grown, and I'm simply less of a pivotal force in her daily life. I don't see it as us growing apart or the notion that she'll no longer be "Daddy's little girl" kind of thing, I see it as life moving on, and the normal sequence in the passage of time. I didn't say I like it. I'm pretty sure there must be other fathers who feel this way, as long as we never have to reveal our true feelings in public or ask for directions while driving. What's interesting here is the sideline role fathers are apparently limited to during this particular time: Our main function now seems to be swooping in occasionally with manly-man cameo appearances, like replacing her obviously worn tires. ("There's no damn tread on them!" "Oh, Dad.") And here's a little secret - I really couldn't care less about cell phones, what I do care about is how she always responds quicker to my texts than my voicemails, and that's pretty much the reason I even bother having a thumb machine. Which brings us to PKN Day Spa: There are just so many sets of tires you need over a period of time, so every now and then, I'll text my daughter to meet me here to get our nails done. It's close to where she lives, I let them know we're coming, and they always seem happy to see us. I'm not familiar with their "day spa" services, but PKN is hard to beat as a mani-value - they have some kind of age policy thing where they're only charging me $15 for my daughter's French manicure, and $10 for my French-less ones. And for reasons I'm still not sure about, they personally seat me in one of their raised pedi-chairs while they stand up to do my mani. Whatever works for them is okay by me. One more thing: I've been going to the same family of manicurists on the other side of town for the last five years or so, they know I go to PKN occasionally, and sometimes they shake their heads and sigh at the results. I'll admit they have a point: Is this the best manicure I can get here in town? No. But is PKN a good place to hang out with my daughter, and wonder sometimes how interesting life has turned out to be? Yes.

I took my granddaughter for a special manicure and Tammy and the team gave her a fabulous set of acrylic nails - each nail hand painted by Tammy.

From the moment I walked in the space was super inviting and everyone was super friendly. Jackie listened to what I wanted, and asked clarifying questions to really get to the bottom of just what would be best for my hair before giving feedback. She was incredibly knowledgeable- from cut, to style, to products to use, to my routine/maintenance at home. I usually feel a bit lost when it comes to my super fine, yet super thick hair, and she immediately put me at ease! I knew I was in good hands. I'll be heading back in a few weeks for some highlights and couldn't be more excited to return!

I'm writing an honest review about my bad experience with this location…read more For context I had been referred to get a massage here by my friend who is a regular at this location. Me and my friend are both under 18, I am 17 and she is 16. I looked online to make my appointment a week ago and after booking I continued to look at their website and the policies. I saw there was a policy that 15-17 clients can only get a "hands face feet" massage. (which is still $160??) Now I'm confused because my friend is 16 and has already gotten a massage (by herself) with them with no issue. I call the next day and they tell me the same thing I read on the website and inform me that I cannot get a signature massage. I cancel my appointment and decide to drive the 30 minutes the day after to ask them in person because I want to give you my money and have a good experience. They listen to my story and explain the policy but mention because I am 17, driving myself, it's just me, parental consent , etc. They tell me I CAN get a massage after I just canceled because I was told on the phone I couldn't. So I book physically inside of the Hill Country Galleria store lobby for thursday (the day I am currently writing this review on). Everything looked good and checked out and I filled out the forms and came early for my appointment. The day of they lead me to the back to wait for my massage therapist. Time goes by and the front desk lady comes to ask me if I am above the age of 18, I say no, I am 17 and explain what I just told the other workers that same week that ALLOWED me to book the appointment AGAIN. She says she needs to speak to her manager and now it is 7 minutes after my appointment was supposed to start and they finally come back to tell me they will not be providing me service because of their policy, the same policy that their employees had told me it was OKAY for me to book again. For context, I'm not upset that they have a policy like this in place, it makes sense. I'm upset because I have been on a wild goose chase between multiple different employees and management and I have been given such a difficult time and I did everything I was supposed to, I went up and beyond to double check everything and confirm I could get my services done. So for them to turn me away literally moments before I was supposed to get my appointment done is utterly ridiculous and widely unprofessional. If you don't allow people under 18 to get a massage why would you tell me ,after I had drove 30 minutes to check if it was okay or not, that I CAN get the massage. I would not recommend going here unless you want to waste gas money and be denied the day of appointment. Thanks so much!!

I have been to many an esthetician in my time and Semia is amazing!!!…read more She is very knowledgeable and suggests treatments based on your specific skin needs. She uses many different techniques: everything from the quicky jet-set facial, deep-pore cleansing, blemish relief, etc. to more clinical approaches such as dermaplaning. She also performs waxing - from brows to bikini. Semia is by far the BEST ever at performing dermaplaning [if you've never heard of or had before do your research first; it's an alternative to microderm and is not at all scary]. There are a few other estheticians in the area who offer dermaplaning; however, the level of education and experience required to perform it safely and effectively can only be gained over the many years of education and experience Semia has. I would never trust anyone else to place a scalpel on my face. And, the results...WOW! After my second treatment with Semia my mother-in-law said I looked 5 years younger since the last time she saw me. *Blush :) As if it could possibly get any better, the treatment includes a relaxing neck and scalp massage. Heaven. No hard, pushy sales. And her prices are very reasonable, especially for the superior quality of service she provides. Her entire goal is to make you look beautiful and feel happy! And when I left after my first treatment with her she highly succeeded in each! I am so happy to have found her! Semia is now my go to gal!
