If you're in the Lakeway area, this is a great nail salon to try! I was a walk-in client from out of town, visiting family. I walked in, they greeted me and asked me about what I was trying to get and explained the Service differences and price differences. The prices were ABSOLUTELY reasonable and their quality of service was excellent. I had the owner of the salon do my nails today; she is a very busy business woman! She's been in the business for 21 years, incredible! The confidence she has in her art is amazing and doesn't go unnoticed. She has regular clientele and knows them all by name! As guests were waiting and walking in, she referred to them all by name and instantly knew who they were. This is someone who has a heart for people and a passion for results. Since she is the business owner and does nails in the salon too, just understand that she has an administrative role too. I showed a picture of what I wanted, but my nails look nothing like the photo. They are tiny and skinny and look like they belong on a 6 year old child. The lady who did them was very rushed and was answering the phone the entire time. I left almost in tears and when I called to say I wasn't happy, she argued with me for 20 minutes and gaslit me the entire time and told me this is what I asked for. Which I did not. She asked what I wanted her to do about it and when I said I wanted a refund, she told me that she put labor into them and if I wanted a refund, I should come back and give her the nails back. Unfortunately, this salon is just like the rest in the lakeway/Bee cave area. Extremity rude employees, no care for what clients want or need. While I was sitting getting my nails done at least 3 people came in due to a broken nails. Sure, enough I had to go back myself days after due to several broken nails. I had my nails done here a few other times and paid extra to make sure they would last longer than just a few days. Sad to say they did not. Also, the woman who did my nails cut me and over filed under my nails with such harshness it's been over two weeks and I still have pilled skin and scars around my cuticle and under my nails. I will NEVER return here again. Let me tell you I have been getting my nails done for 15 years, and I have never been treated with so much disrespect and straight up rudeness. One star is too many for this so called. "Nail salon" let me explain, my jelly pedicure burnt my feet to the point where My skin is now peeling. I screamed in agony and terror. I have never been in so much pain. Not a single apology , all the other customers were in shock at what was happening. Health violations and untrained nail techs are a huge problem here. They don't even wear masks! They also do not sanitize the pedicure bowls after each customer. After this , I needed to fix two nails and I decided to cancel and go somewhere else when my feet heal. The owner of the salon had the most terrible attitude towards my mother and I . She was screaming and rolling her eyes and obviously making rude comments about us in Vietnamese. This place should be shut down immediately. The restroom doesn't even work for God's sake. AWFUL , AWFUL , AWFUL service. It was like being in a NIGHTMARE! She even pushed me as I was walking out of the salon. This place is a disgrace to all businesses. One nail tech was sneezing and coughing constantly . If you want to catch Covid and get burnt come here. I will never be returning and I will be filing a police report for the owner putting her hands on me. Worst nail salon I've ever stepped foot in. Completely inappropriate behavior from ALL STAFF MEMBERS! Being rude to me is one thing but don't be rude to my mom when we were not at fault . Definitely rude and don't know how to treat customers. I use to come here for pedicures & always tip well until one day I walked in and the owner gave me the worse look and nodded a "no" before I could even ask a question another day I came by one more time and she did it again! It like I understand you were busy but damn you can't be treating a good client like that made me so uncomfortable and will never come back or recommend any of my friends and others to come here. I own a business too and I would never treat a client or possible client like that. Seriously my advice is even when you don't have the ability to genuinely be kind to others unless money is involved that doesn't go too far and people notice it. If I opened a nail business next to yours mine would be more successful than yours just saying. You made me feel so uncomfortable people in America don't appreciate being treated like that. Just saying. I ended up driving to kb nails next to simply pho, and again they were booked busy but they were so nice to me! Welcomed me, I asked for the brow wax and the owner took me for the brow wax! They actually interacted with me like a normal human being would do.
