I have been coming to this location for about 2 years now. All of the massage therapists have been great, but I have found my favorite, Cece. She has been amazing at working my troublesome areas and getting them to relax. She is very strong and goes deep, if that is what you ask her for, which I do on most visits. I had a membership here and was never told that I was accumulating an extreme overage of services, 25 to be exact. It was never communicated to me and I in fact was charged for my additional 30 minute add on to my massage every week. They have over $3600 of my money banked for services but I was paying them more every week after my service. Like I said no mention to me that I had banked 25 services or did they ever suggest I could change my membership to adequately serve what I was having done. I had no idea I was overpaying over $300 for the services I was receiving. I go to other places and when I check out they tell me I have accumulated extra services and I should use them. Not Serasana, no they keep your extra services hidden from you and charge you more on top of that. If you have a membership here ask questions and do not trust that they will communicate things with you. I went here every week for 3 years and they were robbing me blind and smiling to my face. **If you are honest, you know you have NEVER spoken to me at all, not in person or on the phone. I have only had communication with you through email and even that was discontinued. Phone calls have not been returned as of today. I do not think that I have misinterpreted the situation. You know as well as I do that I was financially taken advantage of, there is no arguing that point. If you had any integrity you would do what is right and return my nearly $4000. I would have preferred that this been handled privately but here we are.... read more

I want to start by saying this place is beautiful and I'm sure people who want a relaxing massage would love this place. Unfortunately I did not have the best experience. My massage therapist was very nice and kind but I informed her that I needed a deep tissue massage as I am a body builder with a lot of tight muscles. Whenever I go to a "spa" for a massage I'm aware of the capabilities and lower my expectations. But I paid 130$ +tip for her to rub lotion on me...(idk why I tipped) there was no deep tissue massage. Was it relaxing yes, but that's not what I paid for or asked for. Very frustrating when I felt as if I was very clear on what I needed. Also I paid for the 50 min massage. I arrived early to fill out paperwork, waited probably 10ish min, I was taken back at my appointment time at 2pm. This is where I went over everything I needed and how I would like my massage. Overall took about 10ish min to discuss. When the "massage" was over I looked at the clock and it said 2:50...so not only did I not get what I asked for I was also cut short on time. Don't ask your clients to be early if you yourself cannot manage time correctly. The management reached out to me to offer me a complimentary massage but I'd rather not have a repeat of my previous experience. read more

I'm literally waking up in pain to write this yelp review. Yesterday I got the acupuncture and prenatal massage. On my intake form they knew I was pregnant and yet they we're not equipped for a pregnant person when I got into either room. The acupunture was decent, but the lady seems frazzled by my pregnancy.. something they've had known on my chart for the last month. She made it up by giving me a nice leg massage while the acupunture was happening. The massage was horrible. I felt like my husband does a better job. I have a huge pain in my back each week while pregnant and normally, a massage can get it out. I felt like the lady did not know what she was doing and was much older. I'm glad I didn't book the longer massage, because it would of been a waste of time. I had been here before and I got a facial and massage.. massage was better that time around and but the facial lady was late for me (like 20 min). I wanted this place to be for me, since I live in Spicewood, but I'm going to pass.. seems like a waste of time and money and this point. read more

LOVE this place. I came here initially for a couples massage and have been coming back ever since! I get the 80 minute therapeutic deep tissue massage. My first one the lady did cupping on my back (it says it's part of the massage but what I learned from my second one is that you have to ask for it). The deep tissue massages are intense. I catch myself in extreme pain but not saying anything because I want the benefits of the massage haha. Be prepared to be sore for 3 days after - but it's worth it. I made contact via yelp messaging and Christy replied promptly and was able to schedule a couples massage that evening. The spa has a very good zen feeling and they offer teas and other products that they sell. There oils are amazing along with there hand wash. My husband had Whitney as his massage therapist. She was very soft spoken and and she listened and made sure to hit the areas that needed it. He said it was a Great massage!! I had had Jennifer and let me tell you she had great hands. I've had a lot of bodywork done over the years and have developed a fine palate for what's mediocre, what's good, and what's exceptional. This experience was the best I've ever had, hands down. She was intuitive, knowledgeable and truly an expert in her craft. I cannot recommend both her and Serasana enough. If you're in the area and are looking for the highest quality bodywork, do yourself a favor and make an appointment. Britney starts with your traditional facial and then massages your face, head and neck. She then does cupping and stones over your face, eyelids and lips. I am new to Yoga. I took advantage of the two week unlimited Yoga for $25. My background is that I have many injuries to my body (shoulders, elbow, hip, knees, lower back, neck, etc) from my past military service. I have had surgeries to both shoulders and cervical spine, and want to avoid recommended lumbar surgery for multiple herniated disc's and pinched nerves found in my latest MRI. Following my very first 'gentle" Yoga class, I understood why my multiple doctors over the years all have recommended Yoga. It was Awesome! The studio and ambiance at Serasana - Bee Cave is special - calm and inviting, not busy and loud as I am aware some fitness-club types are. The staff are warm and welcoming and ALL seven instructors I have had in the past three weeks are AMAZING! My bodies old aches and pains feel so much better, it's really incredible, transformatinal even! I knew after the first session that this studio was the place and the Serasana staff - the people for me to do further work on myself, both physically and emotionally. I signed up for the month-to-month unlimited Yoga for only $80 monthly. I have had excellent Physical Therapy in the past and each 'gentle' Yoga session is worth more therapeutically than four PT sessions put together! Serasana offers Yoga (Gentle, Hatha, Power, Restorative, Slow Flow and Yin) seven days a week from 8am to 7:30pm. Serasana also offers massage therapy and acupuncture and are conveniently located off Hwy 71 west of Bee Cave (4 minutes from my subdivision where a lot of students are from - in Sweetwater). You will NOT regret trying the 2 week unlimited Yoga for $25 - give yourself that gift! I also can speak to the massage therapy offered. My masseuse was "Amanda" and she was incredible! I signed up for a 50 minute focus massage once a month, for six months for $65 a session - Amanda's experience and technique is totally worth it :) read more

I'm getting acupuncture for a pinched nerve from Julee and she is terrific. She is very knowledgeable and does a wonderful job of explaining what is going on. She also is a physical therapist, so I've got some great simple exercises from her that have made me feel so much better. I'm also getting massages from Amanda and she is terrific. She really listened to my concerns and continually communicated with me to make sure the pressure was appropriate.
