More importantly, if you can't provide a service, JUST SAY THAT. Don't tell someone you can do it just to get them in the door. I called ahead and specifically asked if they had someone who could do a Halloween nail design. I was told yes. Cut to TWO FULL HOURS later, three different nail techs, and I had exactly one rather bad cheetah-print nail to show for it, which was also the easiest part of the design. At that point, I gave up and asked them to remove it and just put a normal color on instead. The response? An immediate, "Okay, that will be an extra charge!" I genuinely thought she was joking. After I had already spent two hours there because they said they could provide a service they clearly could not, you would think there might be some acknowledgment of the wasted time or even a simple, "We're sorry we couldn't do what we told you we could." Instead, the priority was making sure I knew I'd be charged extra for asking them to put a regular color on my nails after their attempt failed. It wasn't about paying for the polish. It was the complete lack of consideration for my time and zero accountability for promising a service they couldn't deliver. So I left after two hours with completely bare nails. If you can't do something, SAY THAT. I would have happily gone somewhere else. Instead, I wasted two hours because apparently "yes, we can do that" means "we'll give it a shot and see what happens." Thank you for the waste of my time, gas and energy. The girl who helped me the longest was at least nice. That's why there's two stars. Only for her being nice.

Happy to have officially found my new nail technician who has not once told me no when I've shown her an inspo photo, and is extremely fast. Natural nails with gel builder, easily last 3.5 weeks and usually I'm coming in because my nails are too long for my liking, not because the polish looks bad. Shoutout Mayra!

She suggested Gel X and took the time to explain the whole process, including how fills work. Honestly, I really appreciated that because I didn't know much about Gel X going in! It was my first time getting Gel X, and Mimi did an amazing job! I showed her an inspo picture, and she totally made it happen. The whole appointment took about 2 hours, but the attention to detail was worth it. For pricing, the Gel X was $60, plus $30 for the nail art/design, so I paid around $90 before tip. Instead, I was met with a completely different experience. The technician made me feel uncomfortable from the start, as if I had done something wrong. Even after showing my receipt, I was asked to wait while she and her coworkers sat and ate. After waiting, she told me it would be another 10 minutes. I explained I had to get to work and that I had already paid full price and tipped $10 just two days prior--I simply needed the repair done. When she finally helped me, the fix felt rushed and careless. She layered on a thick amount of gel, tapped it briefly with a file, and said "OK" without any real care or attention. This was my third time visiting, and unfortunately it will be my last. The lack of professionalism and basic customer service is disappointing. I expected better treatment, especially as a returning customer.

THEN their tap wasn't working, well, according to the manager, it was working, but they claimed that everything gets denied the next day.
