I have been back now 3 times, just because of the COVID19. Tried maintaining my own feet with masks just didn't cut. Ended up one time with my friend and she was like "Wow" no love to the feet. All 3 times got the same older lady with glasses. She rubbed the hell out of my calves one time leaving them raw. Literally scrubbed my feet like a teenage doing dishes when they dont want too. My dry skin and callous usually go away. My feet still feel nasty and icky. You would think that they would be getting better. But they are not. No joke my feet get more love at Mystic Body and Soul during my full body massage then they did at Nails by Davids. So, before doing this Yelp. I took my husband's advice and tried talking to David to let him know how ripped off I felt but he wouldn't hear it. He told me "O that Mindy, she is just old cranky don't go to her next time".. not wanting to hear I paid 70 dollars for his top pedicure and my feet feel like trash. My 5 year old niece plays better nail tech then I got. I would have rather give her the 70 bucks. At least I would have felt good about the money. I honestly thought David cared about his reviews that is why I called him. I thought he would have been come back in and I will have you taken care of. I did not think he tell me next time go to another person. I got taken to a place called Boutique Nails and Spa on my birthday in July and that is the place I will go back to always and will wait. I went to this Nail spa for the first time because I was referred by a teller that worked at my bank.I really liked her nails and gave her a compliment,so she recommended this place called Nails by David this Nail spa. I wanted to finally try this place out, so finally 6 months later I decided decided to give them a try a day before my Birthday to treat myself soon as I walked in the place was packed which was a good sign, however I don't go off crowds alone. Customer service is #1 when spending my $$$$ coins!!! I WAS going to go in tomorrow for a full set but when I called (Im thinking the man who answered was the owner just by reading the reviews) anyway the guy who answered was quite rude. I mean my guy I have never gone into your salon but just by that phone call I will not be walking in. xD This guy must be feeling very "confident" since he has many clients but believe me Ive seen many "big" businesses tumble down, slowly, but surely. :) GOOD customer service matters a lot...I mean, Id understand if the customer is rude to you but if theyre not then theres no reason to be rude. It was super packed for one. Everything is entirely too close together. I paid $55 for a Mani/pedi with gel on my natural nails, plus I tipped VERY well, which I didn't feel comfortable doing because the lady who did my toes made me bleed. Since I hadn't treated myself in over a year I tipped anyway. I got everything done this past Saturday and my thumbs have already chipped and then today my middle finger's paint is peeling and it's only Thursday. I feel like they are too in a hurry. You can't beat the price. The smell inside is horrific. David doesn't use his fans to pull the smell out. If you want you can go next door to the "Spa" and pay $25 for a Pedi, but he really should make his business less toxic smelling. I used to love coming here until today... I came in for an acrylic removal that I had had done there, and it was the worst thing ever. I've had acrylics before and they've removed them with acetone and very gentle. Today, the women had the nail clippers and used another fake nail and was scraping the acrylic off. I got off work earlier and decided to treat myself to a pedicure and manicure to relax. From the second I got in, David was rude as always. The woman who sat me at the pedicure acted like she was in a rush and got mad because I asked for a towel so i didn't have to put my feet on the pedicure thing. She hadn't even started my pedicure and had an attitude when I said I didn't know what my color was yet. Instead of painting my feet while I was already in the chair, they made me put shoes on before painting my toes so they could do it at the same as my manicure. Felt rushed. The two people that I had were not friendly and David is the most unfriendly person ever. I came in for a gel nail, Pedicure, and face wax: eyebrows, chin, and lip. Ellen was my nail artist. I showed her what I wanted done to my nails in an image. A crazy detailed flower, 3d art!! She didn't hestistate to tackle the job!! She spent so long make sure every detail was done. She made it look so realistic. ELLEN made it look better than the image. Only been here once, never going back. I had a pedicure done by David himself. He was wearing latex gloves after I told him I had a latex allergy. He reassured me they were not latex. I dont know if he was having a bad day, or he is usually this grouchy but he has a MAD look on his face. Everytime he needed me to bring up my foot, he would smack my foot to bring it up or down. I thought that was pretty rude and unprofessional. Then when the leg massage part came he had gloves on and he did not put any lotion to my legs or the gloves so the friction was painful! When I told him something, which I waiting a long time to even say anything he was clearly upset. and only put on lotion once. When I got home, I broke out in hives!!! I called and asked the lady that answered about the latex gloves and she confirmed, yes he did have latex gloves on!!!!! Heard a lot about this place and was excited to try it out. From the moment I walked in David, the owner seemed in a very bad mood. I said 1 pedicure and he right away directed me to a chair so I assumed there was no wait. I ended up waiting 10-15 minutes with my feet in the water before being helped. I had no idea they follow the 15-minute pedicure $15 thing. My pedicure was extremely rushed. The person working on my toes was rushing so much that it hurt. I get pedicures to 1 feel clean but 2 to relax. I would much rather pay $30-40 elsewhere and have a relaxing 30-60min experience versus being rushed. I got my nails done on Saturday with dip. This picture is from Monday morning at 5am. I went in after working a nightshift in between shifts to get them fixed and they made me wait 15 minutes to have the same girl fix them when there was plenty of manicurists waiting around. When I asked about how much longer I had to wait they said 10 minutes. I was completely unimpressed that I drove across town to get my nails fixed after not even 48 hours and they had me waiting when I'm the one already inconvenienced. I will not go back to this place after I get my nails fixed and if you like nails that last awhile I would definitely not recommend this place. Then I called to make an appointment and David told me that "you can't always get in right when you want too." I will be getting my nails fixed and not going back there. He is the owner and has no customer service and was downright rude. My mom was a customer of his for years, he knew her by name and she doesn't go there because they don't do a good job. I couldn't give it a zero rating so here is why 1 star. I got a mani/pedi and when I went to the front desk to pay the owner he was sitting there talking with a woman who I thought was a customer. I waited patiently for 10 minutes and then I heard the woman ask him about numbers. They were talking about the lottery. The man was filling out his lottery ticket! I asked if I needed to go pay for my service at another desk and he said no. I handed him my credit card and service slip and he told me to go get cash out of the ATM. I said I have cash and gave him the money. While getting my change I asked if I missed the sign that said no credit cards and he said no and then laughed. I've gone to davids multiple times. I got a gel manicure yesterday and the nail polish started bubbling and peeling. I came in 20 minutes before closing today and David was completely unprofessional and dismissive. He said we are leaving so I'd have to come back. I explained I was leaving for a 5 day vacation in the morning and asked if I could get a refund or something stating I could get it fixed when I got back and he said no. I asked if he could just have someone fix the one nail that had completely come off so it wouldn't be so noticeable and he said "no i don't care come back tomorrow" this is the third time I've asked them to fix this same kind of mistake and everytime I get a rude comment when you can clearly see they did not let the gel polish harden completely. David has literally told me I'm just wanting free nails when I'm literally just asking that only the messed up nails be fixed. Will not be returning. read more

First of all, I hardly ever get my nails done maybe about 2-3 times a year & usually they are done for an occasion. I've noticed most of my friends go here or say that they have so I decided to take a chance with my best friend to go get our nails done and be pampered. We walked in and they seated us right away but before I got seated I felt like she was impatiently rushing me to choose my color. Anyways, I sit down and let her put powder acrylic on my nails. (My nail lady recommended them to me so that they last longer.) I saw her paint them and there were parts of my nails that had a strange pinkish color into the mixture that I chose but I had chosen a magenta/purple. I didn't mind it I thought she would have fixed it in the end when she was done painting my set. The powder eventually dried matte and there were excess all around my nail beds thinking she was going to clean it all up with alcohol to make her work look cleaner but she didn't. She left my nails sloppy and left the pinkish residue from the powder on my nailbed. They look horrible! Unfortunately, ALL nail salons make me feel unwelcome when they talk in their language making it feel like they talk about you and that's exactly what it felt like especially with their walkie talkie earpieces they all had on and let me tell you, I've never seen so many people working at a nail salon at one time there had to be like 15 of them. They have some kind of scoreboard in the front with their names saying who's available and as soon as my nail lady was finished with me she handed me a receipt and put her name back on the board. No patience! I honestly feel like they don't take their time & only rush to get a new customer to reach commission goals to make money for the day. CASH ONLY, btw. They have an ATM machine in the back. They claim they don't charge you but I've heard a customer say otherwise.. I honestly don't like bashing small businesses and I don't like leaving bad reviews but this one needs to be heard. I've attached some pics of my nails. Let this speak for their business. read more

David Lee Spa was setup perfectly per county regulations. This did not hinder the experience at all and in my opinion made for an even better environment. The spa is clean, organized, and quiet. Stations are being sanitized in real time and after each guest leaves. Plexiglas is up and divides the stations. The service was great. I chose pedi #1 and my tech (her name was B) did a fantastic job. I especially appreciated the massage and scrub. I will be back. read more
