The salon is beautiful and clean. There's plenty of parking, you can park at the curb or in the back where there is a large parking lot. Slow down if you drive on Katella so you don't miss it. Tu is amazing! I did a last minute nail thing for my college graduation the next day. She pretty much saved me for graduation because my nails were looking bad. I requested services within a few hours via Yelp and that made it so easy for me as a Deaf client to request and book services. Tu was able to take me in the same evening at 6:30pm, she is very nice and professional. She was quick, but she also takes her time making sure my nails were shaped the way I wanted! She is also great at observing at other clients, she even helped someone else that came back in to fix a nail without a problem, I assume this may be her salon, I can tell she is a super caring person. This was not the best nail salon experience that I've had. I had my acrylics removed and got a regular manicure with sparkly pink glitter. The removal process was not a pleasant one as my manicurist used the nail tip method, where she slid a nail tip between the acrylic and natural nail. It hurt because she did it pretty aggressively, but she did it more gently and it was better. My nails were damaged this way. She then used acetone to soak off the remaining acrylics. When it came to filing down my nails she missed some spots and it was not all the way smooth. You can see in the photo where are my finger is bumpy. When applying the glitter polish there are some spots on the edges of the finger that were missed but she was able to repaint over when I pointed it out. Still upon further inspection there are still a lot of parts that were missed. From a far the nails look pretty, but as a paying customer, I would hope that the nails would be done better. read more

Excellent service!!! I've been coming here for a while! I've been meaning to give this place a review for a while but I always forget. First, people need to make an appointment. It's easy and hassle-free. I haven't done a walk-in but it's always good to make an appointment. The owner, Tulip is so nice and professional. One of the things I appreciate the most is that her staff and herself do not speak foreign languages in front of you while your getting your nails or lashes done (which bugs the hell out of me in other places). I'm Asian as well- so don't think I'm being racist. My gel nails would always last at least 3 weeks and still would not chip! The only reason I'd come back is that my nails would have grown by then. They're very detail-oriented and meticulous with your mani and pedi. That's why I always give them a decent tip as I always leave happy and satisfied. Although the place is smaller than most places, it's very clean and well-maintained. It does NOT have a busy and noisy vibe. There is no annoying TV. The music is always instrumental and relaxing. That's why I love coming back here. Lashes are done by Tulip herself. She's very gentle and efficient. She always make my lashes look naturally luscious and they do NOT look cheap or tacky. Wow, they did exactly what I wanted. Quick and proficient. I like to get in and get out. I was looking for a place to come to regularly from now one. This is it. It's quiet and clean and the ladies that do your nails are patient and attentive. However, there are certain things that could've been better. For example, my finger tips post gel manicure look a hot mess. In addition, when I went to pay the lady said it was a $1 fee for using a card of any kind - credit or debit. That's unheard of for me. Credit fees I can understand but even for a debit card?! I appreciate that this nail salon goes by appointments only, their hours work for me as I work out of the county, and I have been 100% satisfied/happy with their spectacular service. The first time I came here they were very nice to take me without an appointment 1hr before closing time (needed some me time). I was there at 2:30, but I only saw 2 nail technicians. They asked what I was there for and I told them I had an appointment one of the ladies walked to their phone to check. I am really tormented giving out this review. As much as I like how nice and quite the place is and also how all the staff are really taking their time and not rushing , I do not like the inpatience of my nails assistant. I have to admit, that I have been lacking on my self care. Combination of not able to bend apropriately because of my back surgery and Covid restriction that stopping me going to nail salons for the longest time,.... I really neglecting the well being of my nails for too long.However, the eyebrow raised and disgusted look by her every time she's scalling, exfoliating and showing me how much death skins I had was enough making me wanted to desepear from the face of the earth( I feel butt hurt lol) I took down 2 stars not because of this reason eventough it was unpleasant experienced. It's simply because when she pulled the death skins out off around my nails with the tweezers, she wasnt really carefull. Maybe she realized if she didnt move fast, she will spend more time with me( since I have quite amount)... and because of that, 3 out 7 of my skin around and under my naills were slightly hurt which resulted in skin iritation, swelling and tiny blood coming out. When I pointed to her the blood is coming out, she rubbed the skin with the towells really fast and telling me it will be ok. Sounds to me like she wants me to believe it's not a big deal or dont make a big deal out it. But you know... I came to be pampered and not to feel pain. Specially when the liquid application touched where it bleeds and you put your nails under the dry out gel machine..... it stings!...... If she just appologized rather than brushing it off like that , I dont think I will take two stars out and move on. I mean, I understand that in this type of job is proned with accidents. Accident happened. But I still believed they should try to do their best to eliminate the occurences. It's not 1 finger but 3!.... Maybe next time. I will ask the owner to do my manicure and pedicure for me instead. She seems really nice , professional and polite after all. read more
