I'm not one to write a negative review, but I'm genuinely upset with the service I recently received. Service was so bad that the entire time I kept thinking to myself "I can't wait to never come back again". I probably should have walked out before they even started but this had been my nail salon for years. I've been a loyal customer for years, coming in every 4/5 weeks for gel-x, fills and pedicures. This time, I wanted to soak-off my gel-x set and get a regular manicure no gel because I wanted to give my natural nails a break. Instead of simply providing the service I requested, I received pushback and was repeatedly told to get gel. It took several minutes and even a phone call before they agreed to do what I was asking for. Also, it felt like they were forcing the lady to do my nails but I always see her doing pedicures. So why not tell me to wait a little bit for someone who was more comfortable doing nails. Yet, the lady who did my nails this time has done my pedicures before and because of her I stopped doing my pedicures at Ashley's because she was not doing a great job at all. Anyways, throughout the appointment, I felt dismissed. I wasn't allowed to look at the color books that were sitting right in front of me. She literally took the books away from me. I also had to ask multiple times for my nails to be cut shorter. I also explained that the skin under my thumbnails are sensitive and asked for extra care when cutting down the nail. But I had to pull my hands away multiple times because I was worried about being cut which has happened before at this nail salon. I bled and they still put the gel-x nail on my bleeding nail. Unfortunately, the finished manicure was disappointing. In the nail salon my nails looked okay, but once I saw them in the natural light, the paint job was horrible. The more I look at them the more unhappy I am with my nails. What's makes this frustrating is that I've overlooked issues in the past because I don't like confrontation. For example, sometimes they rush on my nails if other people come in and this is honestly so annoying because they could be doing such a great job. But as soon as someone arrives they start to rush and the nails end up just okay. Another thing about this salon is that they are not upfront with you. You ask for a certain color and they say yes, mind you these colors are from the books. Yet, when it's time to add the color they bring another similar one and if you tell them something that's when they finally tell you the color has run out. I think this is so frustrating because if you're telling me yes it's available first and then bringing something else because it's actually not but they know it's not available then just be honest! Another not so great experience that I've had is that one bristle of the nail polish brush was left on one of my nails and they happened to be my birthday nails. I was so sad but didn't say anything because I hate being confrontational. Even with the not so great experiences, I continued coming back because some employees genuinely cared and did a great job but it's only a few who actually cared. After this service, however I've decided not to return. Loyal customers should feel valued regardless of whether they're getting an elaborate nail set or a simple manicure. Better attention to detail, consistency, and customer service would make a huge difference in this salon. The pricing also doesn't match the quality we have been receiving. Spending $60-$80 for basic gel-x services when other nail techs offer better work and designs for similar prices makes it hard to justify coming back. I'm genuinely sad to leave this review because this salon has potential, but my experience made me feel more like an inconvenience than a valued customer.

I always come here to get my pedicure done with Tiffani and NEVER leave disappointed. she always get me right with my service! For nails I would really recommend Ken. Every visit I leave with a fresh set of nails and a good yap session with him! The salon is awesome with their customer service. Highly recommend
Unfortunately this place has gone downhill in many ways (cleanliness & service). I have been a loyal customer and even referred family & friends. Every visit I get a full set + full Pedi package - yesterday's visit will be my last due to lack of service and carelessness - I got my foot burnt with hot wax. UNACCEPTABLE My sister and I decided to take my niece to this place as her first nail salon experience and I regret every bit of it. My niece and I were supposed to get pedis, obviously it was a little busy so they attended me first, but then as we kept waiting they started attending other clients and forgot about my niece. Both our pedis felt rushed. Hence, leading to the burnt wax experience. I felt extremely embarrassed as I hollered and cursed in pain. I immediately advised her to stop the services and she had the audacity to ask me if it was my first time. Usually, I am asked to check the temperature of the wax if it's good enough. The wax came straight from the machine onto my foot. The only thing about this whole nail salon fiasco that went well was Mimi's service unfortunately does not do justice to the shit show we experienced.
Great mail place. Our first time there. Went based on Yelp. The place was busy - good sign. They have 8 nail stations and 8 spa chairs. The massage on the chairs actually works and your allowed to use it LOL. I have a big interview coming up and need my nails to look professional- That's all Paul, nail tech, needed to know. He did a great job! Better than I could have thought of myself. Also had my toes done -excellent. They use hot towels on everyone - such a nice touch.
I asked for a gel x full set the technician then proceeded to tell me acrylic better, clearly she did not know gel x, so to make both of our lives easier I agreed to do acrylic. She did not give me the shape I wanted, and when I asked her if she could go over the black French tip again because it was too light, she said no because it was going to peel off??? Ok I said don't make much of it until I was outside, what I got was a faded black French tip. It looked horrible!! Patchy & disgusting!!! I called as soon as I got home, mind you I drove from downtown LA to paramount because I remember this place being soooo good back when Ben was there !! So I call and I tell the girl the exact same thing how I asked her to go over it another time to make it darker and she said no and she even agreed with what she said. She said oh well you know if we do add too much nail polish the gel WILL peel off. So then I told her OK well, I need to go back and get my nails fixed, but I don't want her to do them. I need somebody new to do them for me because I didn't want her to touch my nails again so I need somebody else and she proceeded with telling me if there was another technician that was going touch my nails they were going to have to charge me. I never went back and never will! $145 for a French tip full set along with a shitty as pedicure ! My nails where 70 & my pedicure was 85 because I also requested French tip on my toes

I enjoy coming to Nails and lashes by Ashley for my pedicures & manis. Anyone you get for a pedi is great! I've never had a complaint about my pedis, I appreciate that they have a variety of packages for pedicures. They are patient with any nail inspo and or request you want. They will at times send discount counts when you sign up for their messages. The place itself is chill and not too chaotic when busy. read more

I love the vibes in here it makes me feel like I'm at a spa. I gave it a 3 star because the quality of my nails did not come out good. My toe nails look rounded (and a nail salon should make it look squared). On my hand nails I could see the layers of nail polish because the lady who did my nails seemed to be in a rush and was doing it careless. I absolutely dislike it when the you can see the different color layers!!! Please teach your workers how to paint over the entire nail on both rounds of painting the nail. Not sure if I will return. On the bright side, Front desk girl is so sweet! And pedi is $20 read more

You want the WORLD's WORST NAILS? Come to this place! 21 years of getting my nails done and never have I encountered such a terrible nail experience like this! I asked my tech to not leave a bump ontop & re-do the color, he obviously got offended & fucked up my nails even more. The service was great Lyn did a great job! so I get there and ask how much they say 50$ i said ok thats fine she does them and when shes done she said $75 I said why if they told me $50 she was like yes 50$ for gelish $10 to remove the ones you had and $15 for french tip i was like wtf. read more

The first time I came here the service was excellent. I love the way she did my toes. I love the wished in my hand she did everything absolutely fabulous. I love the fact that they use the things and then they trash it. I love that the place was clean and spotless even had amenities to wait. It was absolutely perfect however, at this time, I was not happy she wax my lips and I still had hair. The girl that did my toes this time around went super fast and I don't feel like it was cleaned and then I chose a color she's like no no no choose this color I'm like no no no I want color I chose, overall I think it's really good service but I'm not feeling the vibe for the second time. I did like that she fix my eyebrows but once again she missed hairs. Don't think I'll be coming back. read more

I have been coming here for about 9 years now. I lived 5 minutes away before so it was very convenient for me but now I live over 45 minutes away and still come here because I have not been able to find another salon with great quality work that take walk ins. Only downside is that they always change prices even for the same work so I'd suggest to ask for prices before to avoid issues after work is done. I'm gatekeeping my pedi lady but Mimi does my nails and she's really good read more

She gave me exactly what i wanted and exceeded my expectations. Definitely only asking for her from now on . Always a great visit and worth the prices ! read more

I wanted a soak off of my gel x nails... which they said they could do... however their work proved otherwise.. also got a gel manicure and um never again haha.. lady who I had was in a rush since they were closing soon and nicked me three times and when I pulled my hand away from hers because it hurt she told me it was because I wasn't careful and needed to be still... then she nicked me two more times.. I don't think I'll ever come back here, they wanted to keep adding more charges? Surprised they didn't charge me to breathe:/ read more

Took my husband to get a pedicure for his birthday. We hardly go to salon because I prefer to do our manicures and pedicures to save $. We are firm believers of keeping our $$ in Paramount. We found this location. Seem nice, but extremely disappointed for the $$ we paid. My polish job was awful. Refer to the pictures for examples. I'd rather drive to ktown thru 1hr traffic than have this experience again. Felt I was upcharged and given a tech who didn't care. All I wanted was manicure and simple polish. Instead I got what was pictured with gel polish. Giving a 1 star because he cleaned up the cuticle, but didn't leave a clean canvas to paint on. Would not recommend. I pointed out the flaws to the man. He attempted to fix by filing down then repainting over! Just start over. Because he paid no attention to detail, he wouldn't fix the other 3 problems I noticed. I don't want a do over, but would rather have a a refund. This location was a miss Paramount. read more

The first time I came here I received incredible service. I had a full set and a pedicure. Both were done really well and my nail technician was willing to be creative with me and that can be hard to come by. Interestingly enough while having my nails done a patron was loudly arguing with the front desk gal about the prices always changing - like by the visit, one price last week and a new price this week - wouldn't you know it my own nail technician was nodding his head in agreement with the patron!!! This confused me a little but I let it go and left paying under $100 for both - my nails were around $55. The next time I came for a fill. I was told 15 minutes for a wait so I went shopping at Ross. 30 minutes later I came back and the woman at the desk told me it would be about 15 mins. Well turns out I waited OVER AN HOUR to have my nails done. It seems they always say 15 minutes instead of just saying they're not sure or over estimating. I'm not sure if they were just understaffed or what but it was just excessive! The kicker is I paid the same price for a fill as I did for the full set. Each time I got designs and the full set design took twice as long as the fill design. I asked why the price and the man said because of the technicians time.... uhhh that makes no sense but I refuse to argue. They knew what they were doing and they lost a regular patron. All this to say the woman from my first visit was Right. They don't have clear set prices and this is the first nail salon I've ever been to that decides on a whim how much to charge. They really do great work, however I don't know anyone who would happily support an establishment that charges their prices on a whim. read more

I have been coming to this place for years with my daughter, usually we don't have a problem with the service but this last time I visited was disappointing My gel mani and pedi bubble and I was told by Chloe I have 5 days to return so it can be fix. Hmm I did go on Monday and they only did 5 of my nails that bubble but not my feet and they didn't even offer to give me credit for the next visit. I think when this happens the customer should receive free services on there next visit to compensate the time that was wasted on the outcome of there service and embarrassment I felt. The staff should be more careful and letting the gel dry. On Monday the 20th when I had time to go they told me the previous lady did not let the gel dry. So now I can't wear sandals . Everything is so expensive and I think that if I'm willing to pay that price to feel good then it shouldn't be bubbling up. Just saying.. read more

For pedicures.... I've never had a perfect pedi there. They don't deep clean your toe nails as they do in other places.

Depends on the length of your nails. I usually pay around $60 for fills and pedi (both in gel) and this place takes credit cards :)

They last depending on how you care for them but usually from 2-4 weeks.
