This place is very pushy when it comes to regular polish. They push gel nail. My tech must of asked me about 20 times. They said they could also not add artwork to regular nail polish. Unfortunately this place has gone downhill in many ways (cleanliness & service). I have been a loyal customer and even referred family & friends. Every visit I get a full set + full Pedi package - yesterday's visit will be my last due to lack of service and carelessness - I got my foot burnt with hot wax. UNACCEPTABLE My sister and I decided to take my niece to this place as her first nail salon experience and I regret every bit of it. My niece and I were supposed to get pedis, obviously it was a little busy so they attended me first, but then as we kept waiting they started attending other clients and forgot about my niece. Both our pedis felt rushed. Hence, leading to the burnt wax experience. I felt extremely embarrassed as I hollered and cursed in pain. I immediately advised her to stop the services and she had the audacity to ask me if it was my first time. Usually, I am asked to check the temperature of the wax if it's good enough. The wax came straight from the machine onto my foot. I asked for a gel x full set the technician then proceeded to tell me acrylic better, clearly she did not know gel x, so to make both of our lives easier I agreed to do acrylic. She did not give me the shape I wanted, and when I asked her if she could go over the black French tip again because it was too light, she said no because it was going to peel off??? Ok I said don't make much of it until I was outside, what I got was a faded black French tip. It looked horrible!! Patchy & disgusting!!! I called as soon as I got home, mind you I drove from downtown LA to paramount because I remember this place being soooo good back when Ben was there !! So I call and I tell the girl the exact same thing how I asked her to go over it another time to make it darker and she said no and she even agreed with what she said. She said oh well you know if we do add too much nail polish the gel WILL peel off. So then I told her OK well, I need to go back and get my nails fixed, but I don't want her to do them. I need somebody new to do them for me because I didn't want her to touch my nails again so I need somebody else and she proceeded with telling me if there was another technician that was going touch my nails they were going to have to charge me. Great mail place. Our first time there. Went based on Yelp. The place was busy - good sign. They have 8 nail stations and 8 spa chairs. The massage on the chairs actually works and your allowed to use it LOL. I have a big interview coming up and need my nails to look professional- That's all Paul, nail tech, needed to know. I've been here a few times when I needed a quick manicure & pedicure, when my regular girl is busy . Today I came in to have my acrylics soaked off and got a gel manicure and pedicure. My toe nails look rounded (and a nail salon should make it look squared). I love the fact that they use the things and then they trash it. I love that the place was clean and spotless even had amenities to wait. I lived 5 minutes away before so it was very convenient for me but now I live over 45 minutes away and still come here because I have not been able to find another salon with great quality work that take walk ins. Only downside is that they always change prices even for the same work so I'd suggest to ask for prices before to avoid issues after work is done. Took my husband to get a pedicure for his birthday. We hardly go to salon because I prefer to do our manicures and pedicures to save $. We are firm believers of keeping our $$ in Paramount. We found this location. Seem nice, but extremely disappointed for the $$ we paid. My polish job was awful. Refer to the pictures for examples. I'd rather drive to ktown thru 1hr traffic than have this experience again. Felt I was upcharged and given a tech who didn't care. All I wanted was manicure and simple polish. Instead I got what was pictured with gel polish. Giving a 1 star because he cleaned up the cuticle, but didn't leave a clean canvas to paint on. Would not recommend. I pointed out the flaws to the man. He attempted to fix by filing down then repainting over! Just start over. Because he paid no attention to detail, he wouldn't fix the other 3 problems I noticed. The first time I came here I received incredible service. I had a full set and a pedicure. Both were done really well and my nail technician was willing to be creative with me and that can be hard to come by. Interestingly enough while having my nails done a patron was loudly arguing with the front desk gal about the prices always changing - like by the visit, one price last week and a new price this week - wouldn't you know it my own nail technician was nodding his head in agreement with the patron!!! This confused me a little but I let it go and left paying under $100 for both - my nails were around $55. The next time I came for a fill. I was told 15 minutes for a wait so I went shopping at Ross. 30 minutes later I came back and the woman at the desk told me it would be about 15 mins. Well turns out I waited OVER AN HOUR to have my nails done. It seems they always say 15 minutes instead of just saying they're not sure or over estimating. I'm not sure if they were just understaffed or what but it was just excessive! The kicker is I paid the same price for a fill as I did for the full set. Each time I got designs and the full set design took twice as long as the fill design. I asked why the price and the man said because of the technicians time.... uhhh that makes no sense but I refuse to argue. They knew what they were doing and they lost a regular patron. All this to say the woman from my first visit was Right. They don't have clear set prices and this is the first nail salon I've ever been to that decides on a whim how much to charge. They really do great work, however I don't know anyone who would happily support an establishment that charges their prices on a whim. read more

I have been coming to this place for years with my daughter, usually we don't have a problem with the service but this last time I visited was disappointing My gel mani and pedi bubble and I was told by Chloe I have 5 days to return so it can be fix. Hmm I did go on Monday and they only did 5 of my nails that bubble but not my feet and they didn't even offer to give me credit for the next visit. I think when this happens the customer should receive free services on there next visit to compensate the time that was wasted on the outcome of there service and embarrassment I felt. The staff should be more careful and letting the gel dry. On Monday the 20th when I had time to go they told me the previous lady did not let the gel dry. So now I can't wear sandals .
