I rarely leave reviews, but after this experience I felt like I had to. My sister and I decided to try a new nail salon and came here. When we arrived, the place was completely empty except for two workers. I was getting a pedicure and my sister was getting a builder gel set. I was seated first, and as soon as my sister was about to sit down, there was a literal ROACH crawling on the chair. She immediately pointed it out and said she couldn't sit there. The employee who was supposed to do my pedicure quickly picked it up and threw it away. Looking back, I honestly don't know why we didn't leave right then and there. We decided to stay, and they started working on my sister's nails while turning on the tub for my pedicure so my feet could soak. A few minutes later, another woman who I believe was the owner came in and started talking with the employee. They stood there chatting for about 15 minutes while I sat in the spa chair waiting. I kept looking over to see if someone was going to help me, but nobody did. Eventually I got fed up and stood up to leave. Only then did they finally acknowledge me and say they were ready to start. At that point, I was done waiting. Between finding a roach in the salon and being completely ignored while sitting there ready for service, this was a terrible experience. The cleanliness and customer service were both extremely disappointing, and I will not be returning. read more

WORST EXPERIENCE EVER!!! I came in at 5pm with my friend to get our nails done, the workers started on our nails and stopped when 6:30 came around... they told me and my friend we have to come back tomorrow but had to pay in advance... i didn't want to fuss even though i was upset, so we came back next day.. THEY CHARGED US FOR THEIR INCOMPLETE WORK!!!! I ONLY GOT FRENCH TIP!! $90????? They lied to us saying the owner kicked them out. I called owner and he said he didn't do that, and they should've finished our nails on time. DONT GIVE THEM BUSINESS!!! I'm so nice to even say this in person but I honestly didn't like my nails AT ALL. The shapes are all un even and different lengths and they look lumpy. This was my first time and it sucks that I wasn't happy with them. Update**** I went back the next and another nail tech fixed them all for me. Huge difference! She re-did everything and fixed the shapes of my nails and they look so much better. I'm happy that they fixed my nails without making it a big issue. read more

Terrible, don't go! owner changes and now there a new person every time I've gone. I've been coming here for over a year, took a break since I was out of town. Last week I went back to get a gel many, I asked for a natural look, the lady put so much gel builder that it was thicker then usual . I asked her nicely to file more, she did a bit but they were all misshapen, when she started to put the color nail polish on, ( mind you she didn't shape, file or clean cuticles) I told her that I wanted them thinner. She got upset shaken her head, then told me I needed a new set, I told her that's what I was paying for, she was talking in another language so I told her, " you don't have to do it if you don't want to" I left, the new owner was searing behind the entire time said nothing! I would honestly give it no stars but I've been coming tho this salon for a while and I really liked some of the techs. The service has gone down TREMENDOUSLY. Jimmy (I think that's his name) did the most half done pedicure I've ever received no cutting nails, cleaning the sidewalls, nothing and he cut my cuticle SEVERAL times, proceeded to paint the most diabolical French on my toes, and got visibly upset when I tried to direct him on how to fix it. I had to leave to pick up my daughter and came back to have them repainted, they again looked at me like I had three heads. I paid for a service I expect to like the service as we all do right? The fix was even worse than where we started. More low quality work instead of removing the ONE toe and start over they just filed off my polish HALF way and then repainted over it leaving half of my toenail having 4 layers of polish and the top have only having two. That's not even the worst part, I wake up the next day to half of my acrylic toe missing. So I come back to have it fixed and you guessed it. ATTITUDEE!!!! Keep in mind I've been extremely nice and respectful to them this during this entire ordeal when respectfully I should have cursed them out. Another customer was upset and received completely different service and was given a coupon as compensation. I was not, nor did I care for one but it would have been the thought that mattered. How I ended up here- My mom wanted to get her nails done for her upcoming vacation. However, she didn't want to go to the usual salon because it's ALWAYS packed. I searched nail salons nearby on Yelp and was pleased to find a nail salon name that hadn't appeared before. I decided to click on it and based on the one review and photos, I searched the distance from me and to my surprise, it's walking distance! I decided to tell my mom to try this place out and so we did. We saw the Gran Opening sign outside that says 10% off service. Cleanliness 10/10!! The owner emphasized he deep cleans every Monday! That's awesome. It's super sanitized in there. Service 10/10: We were warmly greeted as soon as we walked in. After we sat down, they asked what we wanted to get done and also provided us mini water bottles. The owner was friendly and made sure we felt good while we were there. The atmosphere is SO PEACEFUL inside. It feels like you're in a massage parlor. It's a really nice, clean, new place for our city of paramount! The lady who did my nails was very kind and gentle. She took her time and was extremely detailed when it came to doing my nails. I swear, she took her time and literally paid attention to every detail. I felt at ease. Not once did I feel rushed. They do an okay job, one of the younger ladies was very nice to my sister and did her nails great. The price is also good, $30 for pedicure plush french tip and $60 for gel and manicure. However some of the other ladies talk behind your back. I also had the asian guy try to take out an ingrown, i told him not to because it hurt but he kept digging in my toe until i started bleeding. They got upset at my mom on another occasion because they weren't doing what she asked them (she didnt want gel but they kept pressuring her to get gel). Its no doubt this place has good prices and some ladies do a good job. But i hate coming back here because they will talk smack about you and laugh because they dont think we understand. I DO NOT RECOMMEND THIS PLACE. I went in for a gel pedicure. I already had gel on my toes and the lady (did not get her name) filed my nails so hard that she cut my toe nail in half!! She used the lazy method to remove gel. Usually they soak nails in acetone/foil and wait 15 mins, no she was filing so hard the whole time even after I told her to stop. I've never experienced so much pain or such a negative experience at a nail salon. Not just that, they made me wait 40 mins when I had an appointment. Plus, they were talking about me in their language making me feel so uncomfortable when I was complaining about the pain. This was my third time coming here, previous times I had an alright experience but this was my last. Also, I noticed that the prices went up because now they're offering "complimentary" drinks. They're not complimentary when your pedicure goes up by $10! Never again am I stepping foot in this nail salon. I walked out and look how horrible my nails look. read more

She didn't file my nail, not clean my cuticles, she went traight to it. Then I told her the pink for the base was too pink, like cottoncandy I wanted the base more skin pale color and all she said "no worry honey" Like I paid $75 for this. & the older lady with the glasses had the worst attitude when doing my toenails. if you wanted to go home, just say you don't have time to do it. I've been trying to find a good nail salon since my trip to Vegas back in May. I went to 2 different locations and it was horrible. My usual spot made my nails thick & very hard to take off on my own. It took me 30 min to take off one nail & it even smelled like burnt acrylic when I filed them down on my own. The last person I went to had great reviews & does great work. BUT she did not know how to remove the acrylic! I usually get them filed down & soaked off but omg it was so painful! She used a sharp nail filer to remove the already stuck & difficult acrylic I had. I had to get a fill & I just looked up "nail salons near me" & what caught my attention was that a lot of reviews were more "found last minute, first time" etc. I walked in on a Saturday after & not gonna lie I was kinda skeptical because it was completely empty. Quynh received me in the front & I told her my 2 past experiences & she took good care of me.
