I called and politely asked to book a nail appointment and also asked if there was anyone they recommend for 3D nail art. The person on the phone told me "everyone does it" and then abruptly hung up on me. I gave them the benefit of the doubt and called back, thinking maybe it was a misunderstanding, but this time I was just told to book online. very recently, I came to get my nails done here as I had been going for a years, but recently, I was extremely disappointed. I always get gel manicures and I used to really love the quality here but over the past few months the quality has just been very spotty for me. I requested a simple gel manicure with a flower sticker. It only lasted literally for one day until it started to chip on one of my hands that I had to come back the following day to get it fixed. They were very nice and they did fix it for me, but I also realized that they did not clean my cuticles very well in my initial visit. This caused the second paint job to begin to chip two days after it was fixed. This is my third experience with them over the past few months and where my gel manicures begin to chip only a couple of days after I get them done. It's really upsetting because I've been supporting them for years but recently I've just been disappointed. read more

I called in ahead to see if they could fit me in for a soak off and full gel x set, she said yes and that I could come in 30 minutes and they would be ready for me and hangs up. When I get here she tells me I never told her to put my name down and that I'd have to wait another 30-40 minutes and when I tried explaining it to her she just blamed me even when she's the one who hung up. STAY AWAY FROM HERE AND YEN!!! On May 18th, I went in for a pedicure and a removal of an acrylic overlay I had on my big toe(only 1 acrylic). I was attended by Yen and informed her I wanted to have it removed as it was beginning to feel uncomfortable. As she was removing it, she yanked it off and yanked off my actual nail with it, leaving only my nail bed. (Apparently you are supposed to let the person who will attend you to SOAK OFF any acrylic or artificial product you may have? Aren't you TAUGHT at cosmetology school not to do this?) Also this hurt so much to the point where I had to call off for the rest of the week from work because I could not walk after. My foot was in extreme pain. Before leaving, I informed the front desk and let them know exactly what happen. When the receptionist went to tell the lady that did my pedicure, she got all mad and turned to give me a dirty look because she was told she had hurt me. I would usually go back to this place every 3-4 weeks, but due to my last experience. I will never go back. I also replied to their check in from a prior visit because I didnt received a message for this visit. Crazy right? I didn't get a response or anything. If you guys do go, Don't allow YEN to go anywhere near your Toes or hands. (I'm not sure if she does manicures or acrylics). read more

I've been coming here for so many years, my friends used to come here because of me but they disliked the retention and experience. I too am done with this location. The cuticles are not cut they use a nail drill to get it off and break off/dry out your cuticles. I didn't know this was not normal until my new salon that does my pedicures in Long Beach told me. My last experience was the cherry on top, I asked her to fix my middle nail as pictured in the third photo. Instead of taking it off she cut it the opposite way with a nail clipper but now it looks uneven. The towel she put under my hand was reused, she pulled it from her white cart and there was gel builder on it and some kind of glitter. I pictured my nails after 6 days... you can see the sloppy application and gel going beyond the nail. Everything is about saving time and for a nail salon claiming to also be a spa there is a lack of care and attention to detail across the whole board. The QR code doesn't even work in the front desk on the table you have to enter the name. Just feels very sloppy overall. This place has really gone downhill since it opened and I've been going since it was opened! I used to go to the other location in paramount. Will be going else where moving forward read more

Update it's just been a day and my nail polish has come off not happy about this at all. My first time coming here was a lot better then my second experience. Although I was happy with my nails, I did feel the customer service didn't meet my expectations when waiting on Ivy for my nail dip. Not sure if the staff forgot I was waiting after my pedicure but that was the only mishap while being service. I do love how clean the nail salon is, so I'll definitely be back here again. I used to love coming here but now I noticed their gel x application is very messy now, for example the sidewalls of the nail are not filed to fit the shape of the natural nail and there is tons of glue underneath the tips. 2 of the nails also broke within less than 1 week. After spending $160 for short gel x nail and pedicure I am not happy. Will need to find a new nail salon. 2 stars only because I liked the pedicure. read more

Worst nail salon EVER. Don't be fooled by how nice it looks on the inside. All the manicure seats are cramped together. And their gel extensions are an expensive practical joke. The gel extensions they use are so cheap and flimsy, I'm pretty sure you can buy them at a Dollar Tree. They pop off over doing the simplest tasks, this happened only THREE DAYS after I got these done, and the rest of the nails followed suit, one even split in half and all I did was scratch my leg. To my surprise Kate was the tech who was assigned to me, it was a match made in heaven. I showed her a instagram design and she ran it past the manager who tried to convince me that to try another color design. I told Kate never mind that I will just stick with a plain color and she smiled and said OK ! She was meticulous in checking length and making sure everything looked good, her attention to detail was great! Halfway through my refill. She said we're going to try that design and she did it.she surpassed the original design. She also was so amazing and checked in with me along the way! I love my set and literally wished I lived here! The salon was so beautiful and clean !!! I feel like the price point is MORE than fair for the quality of products and work!! super horrible customer service. the ladies doing toes are sweet but the man working the counter and calling names is super rude. he skips people that are first in line to get toes done and on top of that he gets upset bc you call him out on the fact that he never calls the number. my mom and i had been waiting for 43 minutes to get our pedicures and they never called out name or called the number we left on the sign in sheet, when i noticed that the people who were just walking in were getting called i stood up to ask what was going on and he gave me attitude as soon as i said he hadn't called out names. AS I SAID, why are we leaving the numbers on the sheets if you aren't calling them. there's MULTIPLE people working the counter and they're all rude. the work is great but the customer service and care is trashy. ONTOP OF THAT, they wanted to kick me off the chair while i'm waiting for my mom to finish her toes... there's a language barrier. it's closing time and they're 6 open chairs, no more clients. i'm a customer and they wanted me off. they're very racists too, they treat hispanics much more picky and poorly than any other race, i know for a fact they wouldn't be rude asfc to another race. read more
