I feel like this place is a scam. It was my first time here & all I got was a Gel x mani & a gel pedi. I'm not sure how they price things but they most definitely know when you're new. My total was $125 & for the set I got it's not worth it. When I asked about pricing they proceed to act like they don't know English. Also the lady who did my manicure, saw the error she made & proceeded to let it be, she rushed my manicure because she wanted to eat her food. If that's the case I'm okay with waiting & having one person work on me. When the other lady finished my pedicure, that's when the sense of urgency kicked in for the 1st lady to stop eating & come charge me. I felt like she just told me a random number as my total, I asked for a break down of how they charge for future reference, and she once again proceeded to not know what I was saying. Not to mention the flower I received wasn't what I wanted, I showed her a reference & then she proceeded to place stickers on my nails. Not even hand painted. Who know how much she charged me for a sticker. I also asked if tip was included & she then demanded a tip. Horrible. Never coming back again. This place doesn't even deserve the 1star. My usual shop is currently moving and hopefully opening up soon again. Atleast there I can pay the decent price of $90 for both gel x for mani & pedi. read more

I've visited Ivy Nails on multiple occasions, and while the work itself has been good, every visit feels like I'm a brand-new customer. That's not necessarily a problem, but it does show a lack of recognition for repeat customers. My most recent visit was unfortunately the worst experience I've had. I originally came in the day before, but they were extremely busy and told me it would be about a 20-minute wait, so I decided to come back another day. When I returned, they actually recognized me and said, "You came back," which surprised me in a good way. I was asked to wait, then eventually asked what services I wanted. Water was run for my pedicure, but instead of starting on me, they began working on my sister's pedicure. My sister wanted both a manicure and pedicure but ended up leaving with only the pedicure done. Another customer came in requesting a pedicure and full set, and work started on her nails right away. Meanwhile, I was still sitting there waiting for a refill on my overlay with my feet soaking in cold water. Not once was I asked if the water temperature was okay. I finally spoke up and said the water was cold. Someone added a little hot water, turned it off, and walked away. I put my feet back in and it was still cold. At that point, I dried my feet, put my socks back on, and left. My biggest issue with businesses is customer service. Rushing people, being dismissive, and lacking basic courtesy is disappointing--especially when customers are paying for an experience. This was my first bad experience here, and unfortunately it will be my last. It's sad when talented businesses lose loyal customers while chasing a few extra dollars. Customer service matters. Treat people like people, not appointments to rush through. read more

I get my nails done once a month, and my original nail technician again moved to a different location so at the time she was not taking any clients. So she gave me permission to go to a new one time deal. I end up going to this location. One of my nails was coming off and I was holding it down with glue, when I was getting my nails fixed, the nail literally was ripping off my acrylic . I grow out my natural nails, so I get acrylics on . And she ripping off my acrylic nail. I got a simple , which is crazy because I've never been charged this much in my life for what I got. The sad thing is after a week of getting my nails done, my nails started chipping off paint. And now majority of my nails, no longer have nail polish on them. After a Week! This is not normal for me. My nails are always looking good for four weeks. Thank God, I'm going back to my normal nail technician. I spent over $100 for half of my nails to be with stickers on them and the other half with hand drawings on them. I believe I was ripped off, I did not leave a tip because I was ripped off! I did report on them and I plan never going back to again. I thought I loved my nails, but with the chipping and my nails being damaged, I do not appreciate it! I've been coming here for a year or 6 months now, the salon I used to go to lost its quality so I started looking for a new nail spot close to home & found Ivy Nails. I always get GEL X, tried it one time (like 3 years ago) & never went back to acrylic/regular. I'm very picky when it comes to getting my nails & toes done however Ivy Nails does the job; they're great, plus they're very nice & accommodating. My go-to spot from now on is this place -- when I want a specific design, I go to Nancy & she executes my ideas/inspiration very well so shoutout to her. For pedicures, they do a fantastic job & they take their time depending which package you get. I've NEVER had a bad experience here, always been a good one. The atmosphere is clean & chic as well. At first I told her if she can do it thinner so she did she seemed upset when I asked her but she still went on to fix it then I told her she didn't do it right and she said she'll fix it then she got upset when she tried charging me more and I told her she didn't even do it right. She first told me 45 plus 5 for soak off so $50 then when it came time to pay she said it was going to be $58. I don't think it's fair that we pay for something that isn't going to be done right. I don't recommend that you get your nails done here. They get mad when you bring an issue to their attention then they charge you more. read more

I would not go back after my visit yesterday. Yesterday I experienced the worst service after getting my pedicure done the lady cut my toe nail and started bleeding and continued to paint over it (I hope it doesn't get infected). They did my pedicure within 15-20 min and they're always in rush, they call you to sit down thinking they're gonna start doing your pedicure but NO you're just there waiting for 20 min until a lady is available.
