I asked for a soak off on my gel polish because i recently got into gel manicures and after 3 times in a row having them drilled off, my nail beds are getting weaker. before she started i asked for a soak off and she told me yes put a little alcohol in a little dish for 3 seconds then drilled the polish off and when i told her, no i asked her for soak off she told me that was a soak off. *_* like girl ill pay for it but don't play with me. paid the $24 to have my gel polish drilled off bc whatever but im literally NEVER coming back.
I guess i don't learn but figured it was near my moms, it was empty and figured i give them another try after 3yrs from my previos complaint experience. Nope nothing has changed, they hand you a price card, try to upsell you on whatever they can and at the end charge you whatever they want. My mom got a gel pedicure nothing else, sign on the wall says $32 why didn't they charge $42, let me explain , they said because she got gel polish . I told them the wall sign says $32 they insisted it was $42 because of gel.. this comes to show they keep on robbing people, lesson learned i will not come again. I rather go to another further, even if we have to wait in line place that wont steal because clearly thats what they are doing. By the way from my last complaint, I did not claim my refund, figured i was going to waist my time. I don't need a response from the owner either because if they would have taken my last experience seriously they would have stopped stealing from people. They don't even deserve my 1 star.
I went on a Sunday after work (5:30pm) they were very busy. Staff were working really fast which was good but I felt my service was rushed. It's a very small place so it gets a little crowded. I got a pedicure & I asked for dip powder for my manicure. She only did 2 thin coats of powder & gel on top, my nails started chipping really fast.
I've been coming here for a year or 6 months now, the salon I used to go to lost its quality so I started looking for a new nail spot close to home & found Ivy Nails. I always get GEL X, tried it one time (like 3 years ago) & never went back to acrylic/regular. I'm very picky when it comes to getting my nails & toes done however Ivy Nails does the job; they're great, plus they're very nice & accommodating. My go-to spot from now on is this place -- when I want a specific design, I go to Nancy & she executes my ideas/inspiration very well so shoutout to her. For pedicures, they do a fantastic job & they take their time depending which package you get. I've NEVER had a bad experience here, always been a good one. The atmosphere is clean & chic as well. I always look for cleanliness when I'm checking out a new nail salon & they pass.
At first I told her if she can do it thinner so she did she seemed upset when I asked her but she still went on to fix it then I told her she didn't do it right and she said she'll fix it then she got upset when she tried charging me more and I told her she didn't even do it right. She first told me 45 plus 5 for soak off so $50 then when it came time to pay she said it was going to be $58. I don't think it's fair that we pay for something that isn't going to be done right. I don't recommend that you get your nails done here. They get mad when you bring an issue to their attention then they charge you more.
I love Ivy nails I come after work they have a flexible schedule until 9pm! I got these natural Frenchies. My natural nails have NEVER looked this cute the team is the best for working after hours. THANK YOU ALL!!

I have to say,this place is amazing. Came here the first time about 4 weeks ago. Nails came out amazing. Had a finger accident two days after getting my nails done and my entire nail came off. Came back second time to get all my nails cut short due to accident. Couldn't do it myself. :( They took me in quickly and was then headed to hospital. No charge. Helen, Miss Helen, you've been so kind and been treating my nails so nicely and I don't feel rushed. So far , after my third visit, I can't say anything negative about this place or the employees. Helen, I can't thank you enough for being so understanding. :) First time trying pedicure too and this place is a keeper.

Nail broke after 2 days. My nails are usually longer than this and last about 2-3weeks before my next fill and never break. I had a feeling they were going to break since she did the acrylic very thin. read more

I would not go back after my visit yesterday. Yesterday I experienced the worst service after getting my pedicure done the lady cut my toe nail and started bleeding and continued to paint over it (I hope it doesn't get infected). They did my pedicure within 15-20 min and they're always in rush, they call you to sit down thinking they're gonna start doing your pedicure but NO you're just there waiting for 20 min until a lady is available. I was a regular customer here rarely having any bad experiences when going but this time was my last. The service is usually good but varies who is in at that time. This past visit my boyfriend and I went to get REGULAR deluxe pedicures (his first time) and the service was off but I gave them the benefit of the doubt because it was busy. Here I am 2 weeks later with ATHLETES FOOT on the sides of my feet and gel polish. At first I thought I just had dry feet or eczema but later a small google search confirmed the fact. The gel polish I can get over but A FOOT FUNGUS IS NOT ACCEPTABLE. I understand the shop may be busy but that is no excuse for possibly reusing tools or lack of cleanliness. My feet may not be a pretty site at the moment but picture is worth a thousand words. !!!!BEWARE!!!! read more

Love my new set! Hidden gem for sure and to think I went to highschool by the area and never knew of this place!? Glad I found on Yelp they really take care of you here and great service. If you don't have an appointment then don't bother coming. Came in for a full set and they charged me $75 I told her I wanted almond shape French tip, and she was working so fast she just took the gel x nails and buffed them and didn't even ask me how long I wanted them. I couldn't even get a word in to tell her I wanted them shorter because she was working so fast. I wanted acrylic but all they do is gel x. Last time I went and someone asked for acrylic they all got mad. At the end when my husband asked about the pricing they got all defensive like wtf!? Their pricing means nothing , save your money and go somewhere else!! read more

Moon was a pleasure to work with. She was very welcoming and paid good attention to detail on my pedicure. I think the gel for my manicure was a bit milky/dry so she was likely struggling... it came out a bit wonky but she still tried her best. Will be going back again. read more

I was hoping for the best when coming here. did long gel x nails & pedicure. The lady who did my pedicure was nice but I didn't like that I could see the grooves from each stroke of the polish after she applied the top coat and it was jagged along the cuticles. I asked her to clean it up and make it straight or if she could possibly redo it but just ended up filing near my cuticles. From afar it looked ok (picture) but saw the difference once outside. Now that my toenails have grown I see her mistakes CLEARLY as opposed to other times I've gotten a pedicure. Now the lady that did my gel x, she was nice BUT when I told her I wanted a marble look on one finger she suggested I add gold "so it wouldn't look plain" and I respectfully told her "'mmm no that's ok I don't want it". Then she asked me again why not add the gold so it can pop and I just laughed and said idk I'll think about it. Then when it came to the marble nail she ended up putting the gold flakes in chunks and I told her I didn't want it. She said "it'll look nice" and when she showed me I said no I don't like it because of the chunks she put and she just kept tryin to fix the gold. Clearly she didn't listen that i didn't want it so I told her to take some off and make a line with it since I was being forced to keep the gold. I had to help her do something I didn't want in the first place. A week later one nail popped off already and every time I've gotten my nails done elsewhere they last 3/4 weeks before they even start to lift. I still tipped them both and thanked them for their service but safe to say I won't be returning. read more

very devastated to write this as i was expecting to have the best experience here since i've stumbled upon their instagram page. i walked in asking for nail AND PEDICURE. sadly to say if you don't immediately agree with what they offer (what they want to do) they will be passive aggressive and do your nails chopped. i was hopeful and thought maybe it's a work in progress i need to trust the process. however as she asked for shape (i asked for almond SHORT) this is what i received even after i corrected myself and apologetically asked if i could get them rounder/ shorter to which my nail tech immediately scoffed/ rolled her eyes cutting me off saying "okay okay ill do it ill do it" i apologized again and began worrying of the out come. once she was done she doused me in cuticle oil and sent me off telling me how much it was and to "go pay go pay" to which i replied "oh im sorry i had also asked for pedicure" ...she laughed and said "oh yea sorry forgot". i was already upset with the attitude and service but i was already there and just decided to get my pedicure so i can get out of there. with today's economy (they should know considering on their menu they elaborate on how "price is slightly increased due to inflation " ) wasting money for a service you're not happy for is not what anyone is trying to do. i was very upset and the pedicure was mediocre at best. i wouldn't say stay away but definitely do some research. but if you look like a big spender they'll treat you better. as i was also dressed pretty poorly as i had just gotten off work, and two young girls came in after me in very nice clothes and asked for the same thing as me and GOT IT DONE and with a nice attitude. i'm just disappointed that i spent 100+ dollars for something i definitely am not satisfied with. read more

Update: same name, new ownership. This place is no longer owned by Marie and her family. My mom went to get a pedi and the person who worked on her nails did a mediocre job. The nail polish was sloppy and my mom had to remove the polish herself when she got home and re-do it. She was too nice to say anything. It wasn't the owner, but she doesn't know the employee's name. I will try this place out and update my review because after what I saw, I don't know if the quality of work is the same as with the previous owners. Definitely my "go-to" place for nails. Both Camille and Marie have done an amazing job on my nails. I get the pedicure with French tip and love it. I waited to long to review, so no pic of the finished product this time. Let me just say that I always have trouble finding someone to do the adequate amount of white tip since my nail beds are long. Not here! Camille did it perfectly and even then confirmed with me that it was ok. I always chose the additional $ for extra massage time. The chair was super comfy and I appreciated the massage back rest. I had my baby with me and Marie was super sweet getting me tissue for him when I needed it and chatting with my baby when he was getting fussy. We called ahead to make sure they could take 3 of us and they recommended an arrival time for the day (Friday), ensuring all of us were taken care of. I'm not sure if there's A/C, but they had the fan on and it sufficed to keep the place Restroom was clean. read more

If I can give this place ZERO stars I would. The lady who did my pedicure was very sweet, I'll give them that. But they charged me 60 DOLLARS for just my full set because he took TWO AND A HALF HOURS. The board with their prices NEVER mentions that they charge extra just to get long nails and a round tip. Had they mentioned that, I would have gone somewhere else. ON TOP OF THAT, he was extremely rough. He was never once delicate or gentle and even when I would squirm or make it clear it was painful, he continued and never apologized. It is not my fault he did a SHITTY job and did what I DID NOT ASK FOR. In total they charged me 88 dollars and expected a tip. They are on crack. NEVER COMING BACK. read more

This place is a diamond in the rough. The ladies here are friendly and thorough, you can tell they care for their customers satisfaction by the way I was taken care of as well as the attention to detail from both of the ladies who worked on my hands and feet. I waited for a second visit to write a review and I can proudly say that I will be coming back here and third time and many more. From my pedicure to my acrylic nails, I am 100% satisfied. I did get a minor cut on my toe from filing but it happens so I'm not too upset, it did not happen on my first visit and I'm sure it won't happen on my next. Will update review after a few more visits if anything changes. read more

They are so nice and caring. I'm from NorCal, and I haven't been to a nail salon that took this much pride in their nails in so long. PLUS THEY ARE CHEAPER THAN EVERYWHERE ELSE?! What a steal.
