Very clean salon and Yuri did a great job. I'm only deducting a star because the topcoat she used on my gel polish now has my pink manicure looking dirty. But her acrylic overlay application looks better than I thought it would and my nails look great. read more

This is an amazing salon. The attention to detail and the genuine concern for my comfort are very impressive. Yo-Yo is an incredible nail tech and her free style designs are everything! Best pedicure all summer, possibly ever. The salon is really beautiful and very clean. I watched each manicurist scrub then soak the pedi bowl in bleach. I also love that the manicurists are focused. I usually find this nail salon to be really good but the last two times have been less than good. I had a pedicure today that was disappointing... I asked the technician to cut my toenails and she only filed them . I cut them when I got home . Will probably try this place one more Time and then move on . read more

I completely agree with others who have said positive things about Nailistic. It is spotlessly clean. The tools they use are all in a sealed package when they take them out for you. I just had a gel, express manicure. It cost $40, but they take off $5 if you pay cash. That $5 became a tip for my manicurist. She was delightful and did a great job. Her name is Tip. So I went in for a gel mani and pedi for a relaxing spa day. It was my first time in the shop, which I must say was gorgeous and immaculate on the inside. I truly was looking forward to this. I did have gel on my toes that needed to be taken off and I should have known then that there was going to be an issue. The nail tech didn't allow the nails to soak for even five minutes before she began to chisel them off. It hurt! I have either had techs soak nails more or even file them with a drill to get the gel off but never this way. Then I finally was able to relax for my pedi. Funny enough though I was done before my sister who had the same type of pedi. I even still have some of the old gel on my toes. I also had a scrub done with a dirty towel. How do I know it was dirty? Well it had all of my old janky skin from getting scrubbed. I already have suffered from MRSA once in my life so I am very paranoid about cleanliness. Next came the mani thankfully I had no gel on my fingers so there was no pain that way however instead of soaking my fingers to soften the cuticles and skin I had lots of rubbing alcohol and and sanitizer rubbed into them that was even after I was ordered to wash my hands bwfore she began. That made me feel odd since no other customer had to wash their hands before a mani. Well I had my cuticles pushed down then a paint job that when I commented that there were gaps the tech got angry. Finally came the most painful "sugar scrub" I have ever had. I love scrubs and let me say that was awful. It was like corse salt and cooking oil. I had to tell the tech to stop. And even then I had to pull my hands away to make her stop. She then burned my hands with hot towels and then left me sitting with this sand on my hands and cold towels until I finally went and washed my hands myself. The topper was the next morning all of my nails had cracks in them from the "top coat" that wasn't a top coat. I did go in and another person was kind enough to fix them although until she started to buff them and really saw the cracks the staff made me feel as though I was just being bitchy. Then the tech that worked on them the day before stated that, that was suppose to happen. Uhm...no that is not suppose to happen and do not try to play Mr. Science with your explanation either. My nails are not long I didn't even do anything that could have caused the cracks. It really is a shame that a place with so much potential is allowing one tech to harm the business as well as clients. read more

This was the absolute worst experience I've ever had. The service was AWFUL! It was rushed and I had to remind and ask the nail technician to do simple things like, use lotion for my hands. It's over priced and not at all worth the money. Having a manicure and pedicure done should be a relaxing and pampering experience. This was neither. In addition, the products were poor, my nail polish didn't last a day. I usually go to GLOSS on Water Street and my polish last a week. It's sad that a service industry business would invest so much into the appearance and drop the ball completely on service. This was a complete waste of my time and money. I've gone to LYLY nails at Bayshore mall in a pinch and I have to say my experience and outcome was far more superior. Not at all what I expected from Nailistic Salon. Just all around poor service! Very expensive!!! French tip pedicure was a little uneven and shellac manicure chipped within 1 week. They did offer to redo my manicure at a 10% discount from $45 after telling me "not to blow it out of out proportion". But the people for the most part were really nice! read more

Everyone seems to have gotten such an "amazing" experience but I guess I wasn't part of that lucky crowd haha. I went in on a Tuesday at 6pm so I'm not sure if the girl who did my nails was checked out mentally or what,but trying to talk to her was like pulling teeth so for the time there, it was quiet between me and her. I also paid $60 for a shellac manicure that only lasted me 4 days..which I guess was cool. I've gone to plenty of nail salons in Minnesota, California, Texas and Florida and the prices were cheaper and the quality was much better. The place was well maintained/cleaned though but but I don't think I'll ever revisit, but it was worth a try. read more

Came here 3 times for a fill. They did an ok job the first time but she seemed really put out to do my nails like I bothered her. Second time they did a bit better, third time was lumpy and awful. She was nice but I don't want to spend the money for poor work. I ended up going to another salon to fix. Tried to like it. The pedi was good. read more

Just visited Nailistic today for a beautiful mani-pedi. My technician Phay was lovely and did a meticulous job. I got the premium so had wonderful sugar scrubs for both feet and hands. The shop is inviting, modern and pretty. Also, the degree of sanitation for instruments plus disposable files and buffers provides great comfort that you are being well taken care of. I am so happy to have a better north shore option for nails! read more

Purchased a Groupon for a mani-pedi, had the pleasure of working with Sania. Who is unbelievably sweet and chatty in the most amazing way possible. I haven't a clue how we got on the topic, but I ended up telling her I was Jamaican. To which, she responded her S.O. was Jamaican as well - we immediately bonded over that! Sania is beyond professional and a skilled nail tech - my nails turned out beautifully. And, she recommended me as a great candidate for shellac since my nails grow long and fast but break just as easily. I give the cleanliness of Nailistic a huge plus. The vibe a plus as well, each employee was kind and inviting, and also very helpful towards one another. During my appointment, I noticed several employees jumping in to make sure the salon stayed clean and tools were properly cleaned. I'm definitely going back to book with Sania. Great ventilations. Awhile back I went in to get gel nail extensions. One of the owners worked with me. I told her I want gel instead of acrylic. She said fine she understands. So I was so proud and excited to get gels. Sadly the truth was I was charged with gel but got acrylic. How did I know I got acrylic? Well I went back in to get them remove and the nail tech who asked what kind I got, I told her gel. She said no you got acrylic on. I was like no then lady told me I got gel and charged me for it 2 weeks ago. Needless to argue she said I got ripped bc what I had on my hands were acrylic. I was pissed at this point. This nail tech was no different. She was swearing her head off at me thinking I didn't understand what she was saying or her language but I did. She was not even being careful with taking the acrylic. My nails felt like it was being rip off. I made sure she knew I was in pain. Did anything change? Nope! I bare the pain and made noise every time it hurts. I was only there to take 5 nails off for. $10 bc they didn't know how to charge for 5 fingers but holy lord I thought I was going to die. Not going to lie I was sweating while the nail tech takes off the acrylics. Customer service was a fail. Again if you're Asian there's discrimination. They don't care about you. Other than the nails being taken off, my first experience was shitty bc the tech rushed my nails because they were short staffed and she burn my nail bed and cut into my cuticles. Again no apologies and ownership whatsoever. So the last visit I had to this place was when I went in to take off my nails. Should've listen to my instinct the first time. read more

First of all I am very skeptical. I felt that nail salon are for women only. My wife force me to get a man in pedi. I didn't want to. I felt that I could cut my own nail and kept it clean. I hate the smell of nail polish remover. I always have to leave the house when my wife do her nail. After I got my services done today, man I have to change my thinking. The place was great. It is over my expectation for a nail salon. It don't smell like a nail place my wife use to get her nail done at. The girls there were very polite and great at explaining my services to me. I didn't know that there are so many step on cleaning up my nail. They also show me their sanitizing machine which is hospital grade. Love love the massage. Wish my wife could rub my feet like that everyday. It just feel so good after my long day from work. No wonder women goes for a spa day! Speaking for all man, you need to try their services.
