I came in on a whim for a gel pedicure. I was seen right away since the place was empty. It was a no-frills, dated salon and so I had low expectations. I should have trusted my instinct and walked out. There were no sanitary measures, the pedicure bath was dirty; I saw the clippings from the previous customer. I was about to leave but I figured I'd give the benefit of the doubt. Maybe she'd clean the bay? Nope. It did not seem as though sanitation was a priority at all. It seems like all the tools are not sanitized, there was a UV sterilizer but it looked like it was for show. The tools she pulled were in her basket already and looked dirty. I was repulsed but committed. I figured she'd wash them, but no. Everything was going fine until... the nail tech pulled at my inner corners of the nail, claiming I had an ingrown nail. It hurt A LOT! She did not ask me if it was ok to work on it. She yanked at it & I'm worried as heck that I'm going to get an infection. I didn't say anything because it was too late. And, I felt like it would have been an awkward encounter after a previous awkward encounter when I asked to cut my toes shorter and she adamantly said no. I feel bad writing this, but, the business needs to hear this feedback. Toe infections are real, and sanitation measures need to be taken seriously. If working on an ingrown, disposable tools should be used. Both toes and they are throbbing now. She was not gentle when moving my feet, the massage was effortless. There were no prices posted, but the gel pedicure was $58. All in all, I would not recommend this nail salon. If I get an infection, I'll update this post but I'll spare you the pus. At the end, I did ask for her to spray my nails with alcohol & she was very confused and told me I didn't need that. Update: yes it's infected, and now have to go to the doctor. read more

Lyly the nail tech cut my finger pretty bad. I was bleeding the rest of my appointment. They had to give me a bandaid and a whole $5 discount. I wouldn't recommend. I could sense she was getting close when cutting the cuticles and wasn't that surprised when she sliced me. The rest of the manicure was average. read more

I give credit where credit is due, even if it's a small service... I've been looking for a new place to get my nails done because the one that I've been going to for over a decade is quickly going downhill. They have always had a terribly rude owner, but I kept going, because the employees themselves were very kind and go to their jobs. But now they raise other prices so I decided to try nail studio 2 off of the recommendation of a family member. I have been there one other time to get a pedicure and I believe they did a good job but it was so long ago I don't remember. But this review is about them just removing my acrylic tips and gel. If you've been getting your nails done for a long time, you know that getting your nails removed and actually make you want to cry lol. You can walk out with your natural nails completely destroyed after being burned or cut as well. In all of the years of getting my nails done, this was the absolute best nail removal I have ever had in my life. She did it in stages so that she didn't have to dig into my natural nails to get the acrylic off. And then she made sure to take her time shaping my nails at the end so that they looked healthy. A little bit goes a long way and I'll definitely go back for more services to check those out as well. read more

Appointments are on time.. its clean and the tv works. Huge selection of regular nail polish as well as gel. I always leave a happy customer. Review update after 5 days (downgrading by a star) - the manicure is definitely not growing out gracefully. The sloppy edges are more apparent. The pedicure is holding up well though. Original review: Came here with a friend for a mani pedi today. The place is nice and clean and there are a lot of color options. I didn't know who to ask for so I just went with whoever. The lady was nice but took a looooong time and I wasn't impressed with her work overall (see picture - a little too short and a little sloppy). But my friend got a very impressive manicure and pedicure with a different manicurist. I wish I had asked about names. On the way out I noticed a lot of people in the sign in sheet had requested Gina so that's probably what I should have done. My 4 stars is based on what I observed everyone else getting. My mani pedi itself was a 3 star experience. Luck of the draw if you don't know who to ask for, amiright?! Oh, prices. I got gel mani and gel pedi. Cost $85. read more

Terrible job on my dip manicure! I mentioned twice I wanted my cuticles done with a manicure. Didn't care it cost extra!! Not just a dip. So to pacify me in the end she used the sander on me making them more ragged. I complained and her response was.... They are not to bad!! Nasty and Rude!!! I called yesterday to get a basic fill at 730pm (signs all say open til 9pm as does the site) was told yes we will take you come on in! It took me 15 mins to get there as I had to call an uber from Target area which they knew when I called! I show up 15 to 8pm and the woman rudly told me to leave and refused to take me costing me 20$ in uber chatges for no work done Called today to speak to a manager amd was told to fuck off because she refused to give me the information I then informed her how saying the hours are until 9pm when you claim you close at 8pm is false Advertising and is Illegal! I'm definitely a fan. I waited to review it after I went there a few times. It took me a LONG time to find my last nail place and if they hadn't sold the place and turned it into a place where I can't breathe (the incense burned my throat & eyes when I wasn't even there for a full minute), I'd probably still be going there, which would be a shame. I like Nail Studio II much better. They're right up the hill from where I used to go and though they're not quite as convenient with the way I went to my old place, they're convenient enough and do a great job. They also have a wider selection and some different gels/colors I hadn't seen before. It was a good idea to change things up and go to a new place, but after it took me so long to find the last place I liked, moving wasn't something I would have ever done. I'm really glad I found a place so close that does a great job. I even like the music selection better, so I don't have to bother with headphones when I get my nails done. Plus, they take my preferred credit card, which my old salon didn't. :-) I definitely recommend Nail Studio II for pedicures and manicures/fills. read more

Great nail salon. I'm here on a Saturday evening and didn't have to wait long at all. They take appts and accept walk ins. Everyone is very polite and friendly. The facilties are clean and modern.the smell isn't too overwhelming either. They have a tv and massage chairs. Average selection of nail polish colors. My pedicure was very well done. She paid attention to detail and was gentle yet worked hard to get those calloused spots! $30 for a regular pedicure. Parking is ample. It's in a shopping strip, next to Pizza Milano, behind Applebees. It's on the side so it's not as busy as it is in the front where the traffic is. I will definitely be back. read more

Just moved here and needed a place to go , they were open late so decided to give them a shot . I had Gina . I got pedicure and full set (French) the pedicure was very short and not really enjoyable it was 5$ extra to have my feel "scrubbed " which I've never had it be Extra and I get a pedicure once a Month usually . They didn't really rub your feet or legs and didn't leave the hot Towel on but maybe 15 seconds . I got full set and she did a great job on them the length and thickness etc. Gina was very pleasant to have as well . The price wasn't bad I only think the 5$ extra was kinda silly for what I got . I had one nail chip some reason and went back and Gina fixed with no charge and again was very pleasant this being said i will give them another shot and be back . read more

I thought this place was very nice! There was no wait when I went in. The guy gave me a nice detailed pedi, the polish looks nice. Not messy at all. He even gave me the tip to not put my shoes on before the polish is dry, which some salons just don't tell you those things! So, I'm glad they care about the outcome of my pedi. I'm glad I Yelped before picking a salon for my #treatyoself pedicure last week, since the place closest to me had one star, and Nail Studio II (less than a mile away) had four! And, I think four is what it deserves. Decent color selection, pleasant staff, etc. I wasn't told that callus removal was $5 extra until it was time to pay, which was a little annoying but no big deal. Color application was pretty good -- she didn't get the polish all the way to the side edges of a few toenails, which bothers me, but may not bother anyone else. Granted, it was a very difficult color to apply neatly (inky navy blue) and I definitely would not want to attempt that application on my own. TL;DR I would go back. Thumbs up! read more

I told them I didn't like my nails and they said they would redo them for half price in an hour. I left and got them re done PERFECTLY in half the time she did them for free. read more

If I could give this place zero stars I would. The service and wait time are horrible. I just received a normal pedicure where he just took off the polish, cut down my toe nails and lightly scrubbed my feet with the pumice. I had to ask for him to use the tool for my cuticles and ask if there were not any other method for scrubbing. He said they no longer use the shaving device. Yet as I was asked to sit in the area to dry my feet and he would later put on the topcoat, I look over and see his colleague using the scrapper for another lady's foot. I sat there forever and went through three dries before he says oh, yes, I did the topcoat already, which he actually didn't. Just to think I have a $5.00 tip for this poor job of a pedicure. I was going to get my nails and a wax done as well, but measuring by the service received, it would've all been for naught and waste of money. Now I have to travel to another salon hours later to get real service and pay again. Don't waste your money at this place! read more

The place was very nice. I went with my friend who goes there often for shellac manicures. I get regular mani and pedis. I didn't need a reservation which was nice and they had a decent selection of colors. The chairs were very comfortable and the people very nice. I've recently been getting pedicures every two weeks because I am pregnant and love soaking my feet and getting my restless legs and feet massaged. Most places I've ever been to gives you AT LEAST a 5 min massage if not more. The guy rubes lotion on my legs with no pressure at all for at most 30 seconds. I received the same type of massage on my hands. I was truly disappointed in this. I think Ill find somewhere else to go next time, 30 mins for mani pedi is not worth 40$. read more

Went for the first time as a walk-in and was greeted instantly. Clean & quiet salon with adequate stations for a busy lunch hour. I received a gel manicure ($25) from Van. She was gentle yet through and did an excellent job on my nails. She was very nice and easy to communicate with. They had en extensive collection of gel colors to choose from. I will absolutely use this salon and see Van in the future. FYI-They do not allow you to add a tip if you're paying with your credit/debit card. read more

DO NOT GO TO NAIL STUDIO II...Horrible experience!!!! I went in for the "perfect match" gel manicure and pedicure.... First they said they were out of the color I chose and took it upon themselves to choose another as I already had my feet soaking...they said it was close and I decided to go with it as I am a pretty easy going person...well it was alot more orange than I had hoped for but I went over to start the gel process on my fingernails hoping for the best....after she started on the first nail I noticed it was BRIGHT PINK....NOT AT ALL CLOSE TO THE COLOR ON MY TOES! I immediately stopped her and questioned the non matching "perfect match" and she kept showing me the matching number 8's on the bottles! I of course kept showing her the orange on my toes and the pink on my fingernail..duh...clearly this is not a match!!! I had a very important dinner to go to the next night and did not want mismatched polish.. well they didnt seem to care and the certainly dont care of providing Good Customer Service! I It became very confrontational when I tried to insist on a matching color and the manager got involved....she was also avoiding the blame saying "they did know the color would not match"...umm okay then....I dont care...just fix it right! After alot of back and forth ..most of which was between the techs and the manager in another language....I was obviously losing the battle and becoming more and more frustrated by the minute... not too mention I had already wasting most of night there! And keep in mind that all of this went down in front of other customers...it was humiliating to say the least! I ended up leaving with scratchy brittle unpainted nails and a god aweful orange that the tech pretty much chose on my toes ..they threatened to call the police if I didnt pay the 45 dollars they were charging me for this horrible so called "service" and I was left defeated..trying to keep the little bit of pride I had left I paid.....I then asked to speak to the salon owner and the tech looked at me with a big grin on her face and no use "the owner is my husband" ..... shocker! I will write a bad review of this place on every site I can find and am also filing a claim on the better business bureau....if nothing else It will make me feel a bit better about being RIPPED OFF!!! there are many other salons in the area ...you do not have to settle for this place!!! read more
