Although they do a somewhat good job with their manicures, both men I've had do my nails here, were unbelievably rude! I tried this salon twice. They talk down to you, make you feel inferior, and don't even let you get what you want, because it's a "bad idea." They also are EXTREMELY inappropriate with the staff and customers. I asked for black french tips. I showed her a picture of what i wanted when I noticed that they were looking bad and she told me she would have to use a special brush and that it would be $10 more. I've gotten french tips countless times in my life and have never heard someone say this. The tips that I got were thick and straight across lines at the bottom of the color, there was no arc. I came back the next day and asked her to fix them because I absolutely hated them and could not stand looking at them. She told me that it would have to be a whole new set, she could not just buzz the color off. I knew this was not true because the color was gel. This also contradicted what they told me about getting acrylic rather than dip- acrylic was better because you can get them filled whereas dip you need a whole new set. So you're telling me that if i wanted to get my nails filled they couldn't just buzz off the color? This made no sense and she was just a liar and lazy. the nails were also $65 when the guy on the phone told me $50. I went to a place i've been before to get them fixed and they just buzzed the color off! i will never be going back here again, i also never write reviews but felt compelled to do so in this case. read more

I'll never go to another nail salon. The staff is incredibly friendly and kind. They make recommendations, but they don't force anything on you, which is great. My gel manicures last well into three weeks, and my nails are still healthy after getting the gel removed. They genuinely care about their customers, and it really shows both in their work and in the atmosphere of the salon. Not everyone does intricate designs on the nails, so if that's something you want, it should be mentioned when you make your appointment so you're put with the best nail tech. But, no matter who you get, the service is great and the prices are awesome (only 55 for a gel mani/pedi)! read more

Gel nails and pedicure for $55. It was the first gel my mom had so she really loved it. The quality of the manicurists cuticle removal and application was great. It lasted a full 3 weeks for me even with washing tons of dishes w/o gloves. There were ladies who had appointments with one of the men and clearly come here on the regular as I eavesdropped on them scheduling their next appointments. I have been to this nail salon twice. The first time I went an older woman did my nails and I wasn't very pleased with them. It was last minute so I didn't have time to have them redone. I had heard the salon did great work so o decided to go back. This time a young man did my nails and I loved them. Next time I will do a mani/pedi. Having your nails done has become like art on your hands. They can do basic nail art but not anything like you see on Pinterest. I am still happy with the service and the price. Honestly the best and most honest people you will ever meet. I've been going to mcneilly nails since I was 13 years old and in the 12 years I've been going there, they have always done an amazing job. Everyone in that shop knows how to do nails and I never have to worry about leaving with ugly nails. I love this place and have been going there off and on over the past five years at least. I have never been disappointed with the service that I've received there. Had a gel mani-pedi for a Labor Day wedding. For once I went in to have the gel paint removed, knowing my natural nails were in great shape & not wanting to ruin them. He ground the paint off with a dremel, explaining it would take too long to soak off--I suspected fishiness but didn't know any better. It's been 2.5m & my nails are still breaking & peeling like onions. I won't be back for a second try. read more

I have been getting my nails done here for awhile. Over the last year I started to get the dip. I love it!! Ti does mine and they always look beautiful. Also they last for a good 4 weeks. She also does my pedi and it is also great. Everyone in the shop is very nice, friendly and efficient. If you haven't tried the DIP this is the place to go!!! read more

Friendly/quick/convenient but not the best polish application. I got a gel manicure and regular pedicure within 24hrs both were chipped and peeling. Disappointing especially on the gel application. I will probably stick to doing my own nails. read more

My daughter and I wanted a last minute manicure for me and pedicure for her. We saw that this salon accepted walk-ins so we decided to try it. Leon gave me a great gel French tip manicure and my daughter got a great pedicure. They did such a good job that I decided to go back the next day for a pedicure. I felt everything was going well with my pedi. Terrific job, maybe a little too rough with the gritty scrub massage. The mani, however, was a nightmare. Cuticle gel was burning my cuticles, so I rinsed it off. First time that has ever happened to me. The gel was applied in a very hurried manner, and is not uniform on my nails...I have spots that are thicker by two coats!! When I pointed out the defects, the tech said they would fix it, but only fixed one nail. The English was so difficult to understand when I asked a second time about the 4 other defects, that I gave up trying. The typical gel polish shine was absent from several of my nails, as well. I paid $73 including the tip. The next day, my nails chipped in several spots. I have chunks of gel polish missing from my nails now, with bubbles and a weird dark spot. I will never return to this nail salon. This is the most I have ever paid for a gel mani/regular pedi and it sucks. read more
