The first manicurist who did my dip powder did a fine job and was very patient, but technique seemed different from other places, specifically less smoothing of the powder before top coat. I wanted a nail design so I requested a second tech as the first one was not able to do what I requested. She did a beautiful job. However, I was shocked to learn that cutting cuticles and lotion were not included in a dip powder manicure, and would be an additional $10. I had already spent $70 on my manicure. This has always been included in other places, and seemed to me that not including cuticle cutting in a dip powder manicure is just not doing a complete job and leaves the nails looking half done and unclean. I have been going here for 2 months and each time I have Zena do my nails. I found this place in a last minute crunch due to my previous nail salon being inconsistent with my appointments and needing to get my nails done before my vacation. Royal Nails and Spa were able to get me in the very same day and did amazing work. I get regular polish on my toes and dip polish on my hands. The price is reasonable and the salon is very clean and welcoming. I do like the added feature of being able to book online as there are times I don't have time to call and schedule. On Saturday, 3/23/24 I took my 15 year old granddaughter there for acrylic gel nails with a design on a full set of nails. The price on the website lists Acrylic Full Set w/Gel $50. and Nail Art Set $15. I dropped her off to have her nails done, thinking, per the prices listed that I was looking at 65.00 plus a tip. I went back to pick her up and they told me it was 100.00 without the tip, for services rendered. I asked them to explain. They did not. The repeatedly told me that my granddaughter agreed to 100.00 dollars. I again asked for an explanation of the services rendered as 100.00 did not line up with pricing on their website. They continued to state that my granddaughter agreed to 100.00 dollars. I was very upset and just paid the bill and left. Today is Saturday, 3/30/24, one of her nails have come off. I will go back on Monday, 4/1/24 and see what they can do to rectify this issue. I have had acrylic/gel nail's done for myself many times over the past 10 years. My nails NEVER just came off. Regardless of what the outcome is on Monday, I will never go back here for nails or any other services. Extremely poor workmanship and customer service. I usually see Holly. She left. Another person, older woman was taking care of me. Hmmmmm that's not true actually she didn't take care of me. I asked for pink nails with a black modern french and pink toes. She kept insisting I get black on my toes. It went on for a while but (no pun intended) I put my foot down. She wasn't happy about that and it was downhill from there. Then she trued to change the pink I chose. I showed her a pic and told her I liked the pink I chose. Never ever ever have I had someone challenge me at a nail salon. I told her I like my nails round (like the ones I walked in with). She cut them down after I said leave the length and squared them off with sharp edges. The dog runs and jumps on all the guests. Took my sock out of my shoe during a pedi. They don't call for the dog. I love dogs and it's sad that he runs around there all day. I have been going to Royal Nails and Spa for a few months now and I absolutely love it here. I will admit, I was hesitant at first because it was so easy to make an appointment with only a couple days notice, but they certainly did not disappoint. I have had a few different service providers, and while all were good, the two standouts are most definitely Trinity and Jenna (I believe it's Jenna, but I could have sworn she may have said Zenna... either way, she's amazing!!). Trinity has flawlessly executed many of the complex designs I requested and could never get anywhere else, and she never rolls her eyes or treats me poorly if I ask her to fix something (cut my cuticles a little more, make the tip of my nail a little slimmer, etc). She always seems very excited for a new challenge when I come in requesting a new design! Many of her designs are on their Instagram too, @royalnailsbridgeville. During my most recent visit to the salon I asked Trinity for a tortoise shell design, and she did an amazing job! I think I may ask for it again next time with different colors, because I absolutely LOVE the design. During my pedicure, she was extremely attentive to an ingrown toenail I had. Obviously removing ingrown toenails isn't a walk in the park for the person removing it AND the person having it removed, but she did an outstanding job getting it out with as little pain as possible, constantly checking in to make sure I was ok. My toe has never felt better than it does now! Jenna is VERY meticulous but still speedy with her technique. My best friend Lisa (who I frequent the salon with) usually has Jenna do her nails and she's always so impressed with her attention to detail when it comes to cutting the cuticles, designs, also ingrown toenails, and so on. She is also a great choice when asking for a service provider! I always get a dip manicure and gel pedicure and they always exceed my expectations, which are already high because they never miss! The salon is always very clean and relaxing as well, and it's never been wildly busy or overwhelming. I think it could be an illusion of not being busy though because they have so many pedicure chairs and manicure stations, it would be insane if they were all filled to capacity. Regardless, it's a lovely atmosphere. I will continue to frequent Royal Nails and Spa and recommend it to anyone who needs a new salon! read more

I went there today for the first time. I was getting a full set of acrylics. I decided to go with the gel,i usually do dip. Overall i was pleased with the guy that did my nails. He was perfectionist and he settle for anything less than pecfect. It's a liite bit longer than what I am use to, but I dont mind that because of how nice my nails are ( it's better then the technician rushing through And messing your nails up ) my nails are flawless. I am admittedly VERY picky with my pedicures. When I get a pedicure I want the person to GET IN THERE and fix my toes!!! I have come here about 5 times now (and have been with a different employee almost every time) and have always gotten an amazing pedicure. It is nice to know that no matter who you get paired with, you always get excellent service. Because of my schedule, I can't make an appointment, so I just walk in. I think the most I've ever had to wait for was about 5 mins. They also have a loyalty program which earns you points every time you come in. Salon is new and spotless. Ample parking. Good location. I always try new nail salons because I can never find a good enough one to stay loyal to and unfortunately this place is not it for me. I had an appointment at 3pm and I was put in the pedicure chair at 3:20. I don't mind waiting if the work done is worth the wait but sadly it was not. At 3:30 I had someone come over to start my pedicure and by 4:42 they were already painting my nails. I always time the new places I go to so I can see if they actually take their time. Everything was super rushed and some steps were even skipped. My right toenails were never even buffed and only one coat of paint was put on.
