She gave me the perfect combo of magic powder and gel, and the are super smooth and look gorgeous! I found Mary on IG searching around for a tech that could do artwork. Wow, wow! I cannot tell you how much I enjoyed being there. Not only did she do a perfect and neat, detailed job but she charged about the same as salons that do a lot less designs. We talked the entire time, felt comfortable and like a real friend. I asked for kitana and subzero from Mortal Kombat with gems for my birthday. Photos speak for themselves. There is only street parking but easy to get to off of West Liberty ave. I have been going to Dana for years. When I started, my nails were painfully short, I would pick at them and bite them. My nails are my natural nails, Dana does mine, and my mom's nails monthly! There have been times I have had to 4 to 5 weeks because of my schedule, and I get compliments up until my appointment. Now my daughter gets her nails done by Megan, and she is always happy! I took the first available appointment possible either the first available tech. Julie is awesome. She did a fabulous job. She's also conversational and helped me choose some colors since I was indecisive. I scheduled my next appointment as well just so I won't be left waiting as my nails grow out . The atmosphere is gorgeous and the music was like... who grew up with me?? Because I was singing along to all these songs. I just had to ask what station was playing. (Pandora Mary J Blige... if you wondered) Everyone was busy but no clients were waiting, which meant no one was behind or overbooking themselves. LIVE THIS!!! One thing I can say is that I was greeted with a smile. The owner Dana, was very sweet. I can't remember the young lady that did my pedicure but she said she was 22 years old. I only paid 25 dollars so not really a complaint but I did ask for the whole work deal. My pedicure is cute no cutting my skin around my toes which is the main reason I went so I wasn't 100% satisfied but given the price I got a nice pedicure. Nice place tho. Actually the worst pedicure I have ever gotten. I don't even know who did it because she never introduced herself and looked angry to be there the whole time. The whole thing was done in 20 minutes and she left my nail polish chipped and smudged, with some on my skin. Will never go back. Picture was taken right after I left outside. This is my go-to nail salon, it is always a great experience. I recommend booking pretty far in advance as they do tend to get booked up pretty quickly. I did not have a pleasant experience at nail chic. The place was uncomfortable and dirty. It was not clean like other nail salons I've been to. The machines were not wiped off. It was not clean and spotless. The plexiglass and work stations looked like they had not been cleaned for days. They were streaky and spotted with dust, flecks of nail cuttings, and old products. Then the young woman who gave me a mani-pedi (she never gave me her name even though I asked for her name twice) never made eye contact. She did wear a mask but She made snide comments whenever I asked a question. She was rude and frustrated when I didn't do exactly what she said when she said it. She acted like she was the frustrated parent who did not like work with her 6 year old. Her attitude, was strangely intolerant and condescending. She did not clean under my finger nails (I noticed because I had made a meatloaf earlier in the day) and said that I did not pay for a complete manicure and pedicure. I'm very sad to write this type of review. I was very excited to try a new place closer to home. It was unpleasant, unprofessional and I felt dirty when I left the place. I had a very poor experience at nail chic. I came in for a champagne pedicure and collagen manicure. The pedicure was very, very basic--there was no scrub, no mask, no "extended massage". It lasted about 30 minutes and included just the bare minimum of cutting, filing, rubbing in lotion and painting. Not a problem, but I shouldn't be paying for services I'm not getting. Overall, the salon was dirty and the nail technician was in a horrible mood and seemed to dislike her job. She used tools on me such as a nail file and cuticle pusher that had just come out of a cup and were used and from what I could tell, not sanitized. The entire salon overall appeared quite dirty which is pretty gross during Covid times but also... any time for a nail salon. The manicure was the same--quite basic and a terrible attitude from the nail technician. Overall, really, really poor experience and would not recommend. read more

Update! 4 months later and this is still the only place I trust with my nails. I've seriously never left disappointed. Not only are these ladies amazing at nails, they are so accommodating and personable. Scheduling and re-scheduling appointments is super easy, you can do everything online. Deb is AMAZING at nail art, anything you can think of she can create. Justina is also amazing, she's super quick but very skilled. She did some Halloween nails for me that I'm still obsessed with. 1st time trying this place since I was visiting a friend in the area...I was torn between 3 and 4 stars because my nail tech Beth was awesome...she basically made my entire experience amazing, but just rating the salon I'd say a 3/3.5. I'm SUPER picky about colors and the selection wasn't great and I'm also particular about using the same color on my nails and feet and they didn't have matching sets like most salons. So, not only was I not really able to pick the color I really was in the mood for I also was unable to pick a color that had a matching regular polish (I always get a shellac manicure and regular polish for my pedicure. I had chrome on both ring fingers but it came off a few hours after I left the shop!!! My gel on the nails started to come up as well!
