I easily booked an appointment online with a Emalie, and their location was so easy to find on the main strip in Dormont. There's also a public parking lot nearby (make sure you pay-- there was a meter guy out checking plates!) The atmosphere is cool and relaxing, and Emalie greeted me by name as soon as I walked in. I immediately got to sit in a chair and get started on my manicure. They had COVID precautions implemented and there was only a total of 4 of us in the salon at once. The hour it took to get my nails done flew by-- I felt like I was sitting and chatting with a few girlfriends. Emalie was a perfectionist at what she did and she truly did a spectacular job! The salon was clean and didn't have a strong nail smell. I'm also not aware of any other salon that offers extra strength gel. Apparently this is supposed to last 3 weeks. Normal gel at other salons usually last 10 days for me. They really take the nail experience to the next level here. I will 110% be back!

I took the first available appointment possible either the first available tech. Julie is awesome. She did a fabulous job. She's also conversational and helped me choose some colors since I was indecisive. I scheduled my next appointment as well just so I won't be left waiting as my nails grow out . The atmosphere is gorgeous and the music was like... who grew up with me?? Because I was singing along to all these songs. I just had to ask what station was playing. (Pandora Mary J Blige... if you wondered) Everyone was busy but no clients were waiting, which meant no one was behind or overbooking themselves. LIVE THIS!!! However, the management and Henry the nail tech have very poor attitudes and horrible customer service I had noticed during the time I was there that the staff often seemed disgruntled and unfriendly even with each other today, I walked in, was not greeted was not told to pick a color or to even have a seat after sitting there for 20 minutes being ignored another customer of a different race walks in and is instantly greeted and told to pick a color. When I was finally given service, the nail technician, Henry had a very negative energy in a negative vibe like he did not want to do my pedicure mind you, I am very cheerful, always keep my appointments, and a decent tipper So, I'm not the typical customer that a business would not want to wait on. After asking Henry to be a little more gentle with the way, he was squeezing my toes, taking the acrylic off. He became annoyed. The owner jumped to his defense, saying that he didn't speak English very well as they sat and obviously chatted about the situation that was going on, and I could see he was getting more and more visibly annoyed. He abruptly gets up and he refuses to finish my feet the owner and I have a few words as I explained to her that the customer service at the salon was very poor siding incident, and that my money spins at any of the other thousand of salons Within the city of Pittsburgh. The owner after I had already began to get my pedicure had the audacity to ask me if I wanted to come back so that I could use my regular technician. Certainly that wasn't a viable solution thank goodness the evening was saved when a talented and friendly young male by the name of Andy volunteer to finish my nails. I have never had such a poor experience that left me crying and feeling like a second class citizen in my life. I will never go go into this shop again and highly suggest that they have some training done on how to make customers feel valued.

I told him about being in the middle of moving and packing lots of boxes, and he was able to recommend a mail style that would hold up to the wear and tear of packing and moving. I've had my nails on a week and they're going strong so far! The facility is very clean and sanitary, which is very important to me. The salon doesn't smell of harsh chemicals at all. My only negative is when the staff speaks amongst themselves in another language. It's off putting when they're giggling and you can't understand what they're laughing about, but I realize most salons are like that. Overall they did a fantastic job and I would come here again.

When I explained my concerns to the manager, he responded that he "can't just throw out a line because of a few customers," despite admitting their OPI gels "sometimes do this." When I returned about a month later, I was told I should have come back sooner, even though no one warned me this was a known issue with the product. Had I known, I would have chosen a different brand instead of spending $95 and my time on something defective. Overall, the experience felt frustrating and untrustworthy. I also find their business software to be helpful. I love text confirmations and during the pandemic the ability to text "I'm here" from your car to know when your stylist is ready to take you was very helpful.
