I went there for a pedicure was a horrible experience the technician by the name of GINA if I can call her that ,cut my right toe too deep cause me to bleed profusely I asked her to give me some alcohol she refused upon me insisting she brought a bottle ACETONE to put on my wound I try to explain to her that would burn me I got very upset, GINA STARTER LAUGHING and speaking Korean with the other WORKER and still smiling I requested the supervisor to no avail ,She also state next you come have the SPANISH worker take care you . I heard great things about this place but my experience today was the worse. The atmosphere wasn't welcoming. It felt like the owner had a attitude because I was asking for help with colors to match the design I wanted. My manicure was rushed. No communication just stone cold work. Totally disappointed. Made my appointment given all the good reviews BUT realized when I arrived that it was not accessible!! The scooter I'm in (due to an accident) could not get up the one step, in this door front operation. The more unfortunate part of this, is that it's an easy fix. A well cut piece of plywood or some cement to create a type of slide, would allow a scooter or wheelchair to gain easy access. Just like the one outside of the store. The couple of times that I have been to nail station I noticed that they will give everyone a back massage (which I believe is complimentary) but me. I hope it is not because of my race, but I feel like it is. I will have my friends that are the same race as me go in and see what there experience is. The first time they did my nails Julie did a great job, but Kim did it this time and I was so disappointed because they were very rough and scratchy. I do not think I will return because I feel uncomfortable that they excluded me from the massage without asking me if I would like one or not I told John the owner that I was disappointed in the job that the technician did and he apologized and asked me to make an appointment in the future to request the girl who did a good job the first time. The staff at Nail Station are incredibly sweet. My nails have been in the best shape ever since going there. Other nail salons are usually overly aggressive with files and dremels which leave your natural nails so thin but they are very careful here. Recently, I injured myself and damaged my one of my nails. Kim was amazing and fixed it so that it was completely unnoticeable as it grew out. I was a walk in on a quiet day only one other person. I thought great they will have time to do a great job. (First I am in the cosmetology business so I know what's allowed) as I was directed to put my feet in the water with a tap of a hand it was ice cold water ( on a cold winter day) after awhile the man about to do my nails was concerned about it being cold, he started to do my nails while I wasn't paying attention I realized too late that nothing was sanitized. My fault for not paying attention but that alone will make me not go back( hope it's not too late for me) after a really bad pedicure without asking he put a smelly well used unsanitary heat wrap on my neck, I had to ask to have it removed since my nails were wet. my manicure lasted one day, I have to have them redone for a wedding ( the reason I went) I would never go back there. read more

Wonderful experience! Yesterday, I went to the Nail Station to get a full acrylic set. The atmosphere was very bright and clean; the staff was friendly and welcoming. I was greeted immediately and received a warming bag to put around my neck/shoulders when I arrived. The wait was about 5 mins and Ellen did an excellent job on my nails. They care about the health of your nails -- she barely used the drill and shaped my nails beautifully with files. They gained a dedicated client.
