This place will over charge you in a heart beat. The prices they have is outrageous compared to theri competitors. If you want to charge high prices then you need to be very good at what you do. EXPENSIVE!! I came here after reading the excellent reviews because I was in town visiting. I received an excellent manicure and pedicure and excellent service. I never even thought to ask about prices! Well $132 later, I wish I had! I have never in my life spent anywhere close to this on a manicure and pedicure! They charged me $52 for my pedicure, $47 for a gel manicure and $33 for threading(lip and cheek)! Absolutely outrageous prices compared to FL! This does not take away from the job they did. First visit to the salon on a referral and had one of the worst manicures ever. So disappointing. Immediately they try to upsell me on extra spa pedicure treatments. When I said I just wanted a regular pedicure because I was in a hurry they started the chatter amongst themselves (pretty funny). Not a relaxing salon with tons of tacky decor and clutter all over the place. They don't do the cotton ball method for shellac removal, they soak your nails, which I don't like. They don't have color match so I had to use two different brands on my nails and toes. Can't believe it was $65 for a regular manicure and pedicure. Totally not worth it. Had an appointment, which three different people asked me about. They directed me to pick out a color and sit in a chair. Someone comes over to talk to me and then another person asks me to switch chairs. The original person who came over to talk to me then proceeds to take care of someone that came in after me. Do not go to this nail salon. The place is so dusty and dirty it's as if they never clean or dust. I just went in for a polish change. It was the worst experience. Update: went back for a 3rd time. Figured it was good enough despite the prices. I show up at 9:30 am on a Saturday thinking I'd be seen right away. Wrong. The owner greeted me & asked what I wanted done. Told her & then sat down to wait till someone called me. I already felt uncomfortable because they kind of just look at you weird. Anyway, after 10 minutes or so of waiting & no one making an attempt to let me know how long it would be, I decided to leave. Immediately the owner told me to pick my color as I'm walking out. I read the yelp reviews, and was pretty prepared for the price. I opted for a 35 dollar pedicure, and gel on my nails. I am not disappointed. Mary did both, and she was wonderful. Very sweet and personable and happy. I have had so many letdowns on mani/pedis that I was really expecting the same. My nails are thin, and I told her that. I always bleed when places cut my cuticles. None of that happened! I walked out of there feeling refreshed and happy! Will take friends there now. You get what you pay for! read more

I was very disappointed with the level of service received at Nail Spa One. My significant other took me there as a birthday gift and it was a disaster. My nail technician was Crystal. The service was slow and I waited over 30 minutes for someone to begin our pedicures although we had arrived early for our appointment. I got a pedicure and a shellac manicure. I received service on 8.1.2017 which was my birthday and my nails were chipped by Friday. This was a major inconvenience and the shellac manicure set should last longer than a few days. I called the salon and advised them that my nails were peeling. I was told that I could come back in and they would fix it for free. They were very kind and fixed my nail, but again it only lasted a few days after getting them fixed. I live in Katy, TX and drove all the way to Humble to have the shellac repaired and it didn't last. I am not sure if it is the products they are using or if they are rushing through the service. At any rate, my significant other spent a great deal of money there for my birthday which ended up being a total waste. I would never recommend this place to anyone. read more

It's still not the best mani I've gotten, and it costs more than other places around, but the staff is awesome, the salon is spotless, and the service is top notch. Now I get it and will be back! Original review: Maybe I don't get it. I admit I've only been once, and will try again though. The set up was nice enough, but the paint job was awful from the start (I was a wuss and didn't ask for it to be corrected either .. my fault, I know..) and it didn't last 24 hours. The service was nice, tons of colors, friendly staff. Maybe I just got a bad manicurist, maybe it was a bad day, but I've had better, cheaper mani pedis across the street. So I had to work Thanksgiving week so I had to get a last minute manicure and pedicure. I was in the area so I tried Nail Spa One, while they are fast and get you in and out. The price is honestly outrageous. I walked out with a nail chip and a bump in my manicure. I picked the Deluxe pedicure which was $35.00 plus extra for french tips. Then I received Shellac which they did in the pedicure chair which yes once again was good for being in a rush but was uncomfortable to have to try to put my hands into. My total for a Shellac Manicure and Deluxe Pedicure was 85.00 which honestly is ridiculous I could have received the same outcome for way less in just the same amount of time. I definitely won't go back and if I would've had a review like mine before I had gone I wouldn't have. by the way when I called they said a manicure was 15.00 and shellac was 20.00 but what they meant is that a shellac manicure is 35.00 when it is 20.00 every where else. read more

I was a walk-in and they took me. I was a bit surprised how busy they were for a weekday. I don't remember her name but she took her time. I did mani and pedi and she did a wonderful job. She took her time painting my nails and massaging my legs. She made sure I was comfortable and I was relaxed. Even though I was Vietnamese, I lied whee she asked. I heard her saying in Vietnamese to get coworker how she accidently told me $60 instead of $50 for the pedicure. However, she took off on the $10 on manicure so it even out. Pretty decent place. I've been going to this place for 5 years now. I've had some problems with them but I finally found someone that can do what I like. Last week she couldn't take me and I had two new people work on me (one did my nails and the other my pedicure) and it was awful as well as an unprofrofessional experience. My toe was cut and was bleeding badly and they were upset that I was mad. Then I kept telling the one that did my nails that she had to use a different gel on my nails or they would turn black and she continued to use the wrong one. When I brought it to her attention again she, the girl doing my pedicure, the owner and my regular nail tech started talking about me in their language and looking right at me. No one in there likes to serve me because they say I'm picky, but I have that right when I'm paying my money. They are always talking in their language about me, but I've always ignored them. This time I was so angry and wanted to curse them out but I said I can do one better. They will never get another dime of my money. I even feel like reporting them to the State Board. I am not a regular frequenter of nail salons as I am blessed with good, strong nails and do my own. That said, I visited this salon on the advice of my massage therapist, Maria, who also does massages here. I was impressed by the cleanliness of this salon and the efficiency of the technicians, so I got a pedicure here for the first time a month ago. What a wonderful experience! When you enter, it is usually the owner who greets you first and that is always nice. The technician, Crystal, did a wonderful job and even relieved some pressure on a problem toenail without cutting too much. She could tell I had problems by the way I had been trimming the nail, very intuitive and sweet. Had a relaxing glass of wine while she was working on my feet and they are soft and beautiful. Pedi is still going strong after almost a month! They save your own set of tools for you at this salon which makes me very happy. Even witnessed one of the techs cleaning out the foot bath at the chair next to me and she was very thorough - no worries there. All in all a clean and pleasurable experience and I will be going back for pedis and massages. Go there and have a massage, pedi and mani and it will be like a mini spa day - you deserve it! read more

I read all the reviews and I was like okay this is the place I would like to go since the reviews are good. The first thing that happens was we walked in and it felt like we were attacked. By attacked I mean more than 5 workers came to the front counter and asked if wHat we wanted . We wanted to look at prices before we got anything done . But their wasn't any prices on the wall or any where. So thAt off the back annoyed me . Then they told me to sit across between a wall from my friend . Witch bugged me because we came together to have girl time not to go by our selfs . When I asked to be moved one lady got an attitude . Then still not knowing the prices I asked again how much is it to get a pedicure and no one answered me . Once we got seated next to each other the water running they gave me the book for the prices for my pedicure. My experience their was great after all the extra stuff was done the 2 ladies attending me where awesome it's just over priced for pedicure with hot wax and hot towels, manicure and eyebrows I spent $93 and my best friend got a pedi with hot wax hot towels and hot stones with a mani for $90 so she got more stuff than I did just not the eyebrows but she didn't like the lady doing her nails she was being rude to her insisting for her to get her something else when she had said no 3 times already!!!! Went in for a pedicure, no chip (gel) manicure, and was disappointed with the service and the price. I had read the reviews that the prices were higher, so was prepared for that but didn't feel the quality of the services or customer service met the price. Had both services done at same time, which I don't normally have a problem with, but do have issues when they are conversing in their own language with each other, taking personal phone calls (on cell and landline) during the service, and ignoring my requests how I want my nails done (they started oval and ended up square). I had polish all over my toes, so they looked sloppy. The trimming on the nail sides had my toes sore within a day. Too early to tell if I will have issues with the no chip but my nails were rough on the underside and I have fibers in the polish on two fingers. I will continue to search for a salon where I don't feel ripped off when I leave. read more

If I could give Nail Spa One negative stars, I would. I'm new to the area and received recommendations from a local online community. This place is awful. First, it wreaks of chemicals and cheap lotion like from the Target dollar bins. Second, a number of the staff do not speak English well, so it made it difficult to communicate what I wanted. The upselling and pushing of the staff to sell you pricier services is embarrassing. After days of unpacking and many more days of unpacking and cleaning ahead of me, I just wanted my shellac nails removed, a paraffin wax treatment, massage and cut, file and buff my natural nails. I paid $70 for someone to lightly rub hot rocks on my calves and literary wrap my appendages in vegetable bags from the grocery store filled with wax. Third, there were flies and gnats in the salon, which was disgusting and unappealing. And fourth, the hollering of the staff to one another across the store is less than desirable for a self proclaimed "spa." read more

I am not one to post negative feedback on a business but this time I feel it's necessary. Today was my first time at Nail Spa One and I can safely say it will also be my last. I stopped in after reading positive reviews but soon after walking in I felt like I had made the wrong choice. I am still not sure if this was a nail salon that sold A LOT of various items or if it is a store with a nail salon in it. I received a mani pedi today which I get often. My mani was done in less than 10 minutes with polish left on my fingers. My pedicure was done with a little more detail but I was cut pretty bad on my big toe which of course caused it to bleed. This was concerning to me as my nail tech just blew on it and smiled. When I asked for her to put alcohol on it she looked quite annoyed and walked off to get it. The rest of the pedicure was downhill from there. This was by far the worst nail experience I've ever had. Good luck if you go but I warned you. read more

I just went there on Sunday 4/24/16 and made an appointment for 2pm. I got Kim who says she has done this for about 8 years. First of all she doesn't look old enough to have been doing nails for that long and second she butchered my nails!!! I have been getting my nails done for YEARS... I used US nails off northpark with Jean but after my appointment was canceled without my knowledge and I showed up and she was unwilling to fit me in for 3 more days I was done. So I tried this salon by referral and was very disappointed!! I was hardly left with any nails after going in for a refill and then she ended up taking my nails off and starting over. After seeing what my nails looked like when I went in, I walked out with a completely different look of nails. I think she did my nails to her liking not to mine. When I said something about them being too short she said "you don't like short?" I said "no!, did I come in with short nails??" Sh had nothing to say after that and ended up charging me $50 for nails I HATED!!! FIRST AND LAST TIME EVER!!! I advise you not to use Kim!!! read more
