The women are incredibly unprofessional here. They do mediocre nails that don't last. It also smells very bad in their shop.

Lots of employee tension and unspoken angst. Polarizing. So so manicure and pedicure. Ok in a pinch.

**update Nov '21 Visited again but very disappointing experience. I do not like when they try to do mani and pedi at the same time while I'm supposed to juggle the manicure tools on a pillow on my lap and twist to one side to reach one person trying to do a mani while getting a pedicure. I asked for a shellac manicure and hot stone pedicure And it was close to 80 plus the tip I paid 100. Only to arrive home to lumpy nails and one of the nail coloring completely slid off. I've consistently been going here for 6 years and they do an amazing job. I refuse to have my nails done anywhere else!

Went in last week for my second pedicure there. The lady who did my pedicure was extremely rough on my feet. I do not have calluses and had just had a pedicure 3 weeks prior so my cuticles weren't that grown. The lady proceeded to scrape my nails as if I had 20 years of cuticles to remove and then cut my live skin under my cuticle with her cuticle cutters. It was extremely painful and she just said oh sorry and sprayed alcohol on my foot, furthering the pain. My toe continued to bleed as she kept going on with the pedicure. I had always put off going to nail salons like this because I have a fear of unclean tools...low and behold a few days later, I have no healing and now there's swelling where she cut me. on top of that, the manager or girl who cleans the towels was yelling at the lad who work there that they need to put their trash in the trash and not the bowls or sinks. I was a walk in & they had available for me & my friend! I got a pedicure & my friend got her nails done. My pedicure felt so nice & she did a great job on my French tip. I'll admit that I am very particular about my nails, but in the same respect, nail artists shouldn't make you feel like you're being an inconvenience. Firstly, my two nails are crooked. Then they have bubbles in them as seen in the pictures. On top of that, they aren't filed correctly. So my advice, if you like your nails being done the right way & picture perfect. Have been coming here for years and naturally hubby bought me a gift card for my bday. 100 dollars and 2 hours later, my high end spa pedicure was smudged after drying an hour and Mimi did my nails. She has a reputation of overcharging which she did and my french nails looked horrible. Asked for short and squared and they were rounded, half moon shaped with a gap between the nail and tip. I went to do a trial for my wedding nails. I told them it was for my wedding. I asked for a French ombré and I did like the color. The next day I soon realized the artificial nail had a space between my real nail which allowed dirt to trap between them. My nails were different t lengths and crooked. This was October 2020 and I just realized I still had these pictures on my phone so I'd thought I'd do a review. Came in today to for shellac. I usually get my nails done one solid color. Asked Tam to help me finally do something different and she did an amazing job! It was not something I would have ever picked on my own and I'm absolutely in love with the new look. I have been looking for a new nail salon for quite some time. There is one on every corner but I wanted to go somewhere that people talked good about. I decided to put Yelp to work. I sat and read reviews on all that had at least three stars. Then I found Tipsy's which had four stars. In my opinion that is pretty good for a nail salon. Being in the service business I know you cannot please everyone all of the time but four stars generally means you try very hard. So I used Yelp to map it and it was three miles from my location. Great it is on my way home, even better. I enter and am greeted immediately by a very pleasant young woman at the desk. I got lucky and hit them at a quiet time. They directed me back to another very pleasant young lady named Mary. She greeted me and much to my surprise she spoke almost perfect English. Although I am not much of a talker when getting a pedicure it was nice to be able have a conversation with her. Mary was very gentle. She cut my toenails correctly and didn't try to dig into the sides like so many of the nail techs do. She was very careful when exfoliating and just had a soft touch all around. I left there feeling really good and will definitely be going back. If you decide to go be sure to ask for Mary. You won't be disappointed. read more

This place is great! First, they are open until 7pm on week nights and Saturdays, and open on Sunday's until 5pm. They offer several different manicure and pedicure options. I came for the deluxe pedicure ($45), which included an orange slice and sugar scrub massage, paraffin wax, and hot rock massage. When I entered, I was pleasantly greeted and offered a beverage: water, wine, or soda. They have massage chairs, which I used throughout my session. I brought my own tools, but I could see they do clean and treat the onsite tools so I wouldn't worry about using theirs. Christine was my tech and she was great! So, today I went to get my nails done. I had to have the dipped nails removed so that took about 10 minutes. When you walk in, it's fairly small, compared to other nail salons, but that doesn't take away from its service. Just something obvious, once you walk in. The ladies are nice. I was greeted with a menu of the services offered. I immediately chose deluxe manicure because I didn't want basic. That was really the only reason. The deluxe manicure costs $25 and to take off previous nails, that's an additional $5. The service was nice; Mary did my nails and she was very polite. She kept asking if I wanted something to drink and making sure I was alright. I'm not a big talker when I get my nails done, plus it was my first time there and I was just trying to get use to the place, so I'm glad she was nice and didn't seem anyway offended by my short answers in the beginning. I think the quality of the service is good for the price. They are courteous and kind. However, they have inconsistent sanitation/COVID standards. I was asked to use hand sanitizer which is good. I was asked to where a mask which is good. Though when you give someone a glass of wine, then ask that they keep their mask on, that does not make sense. No straw offered, so accomplishing drinking with a mask is a challenge- lol. Additionally, they put someone in the pedicure chair next to me and did not sanitize the chair before (another client had just gotten up). I would have given 5 stars if not for that. read more

He was so unaware because he was too busy getting up to answer the phone, do other people's nails and looking around the room to pay a ounce of attention to what he was doing to my nails. I arrived at 12:45 and sat to soak off powder for about 35 minutes to get an overlay (no fake nails, with clear gel top coat). I asked for them to be square with rounded tips... Easy enough. The gel has bubbles in it, each nail is a different shape and they charged me 35$, 10$ for the take off (ok fine) and 25$ for a full set and I don't even have fake nails on. N then after I complained he offered He offered to fix them .. So now I'm supposed to sit there another hour? Thanks but no. A 45 minute job turned to 2 hours n a waste of my money. Vina is amazing. Ive been following her everywhere she goes for almost 6 years. I started with acrylic nails, then moved to shellac manicures with my pedicures here and there (she has magic fingers!!) and when she told me about the lash extensions I had to try it out. Leaving the nails chunky and polish on my fingers. They over charge for the nails that they do only to leave them looking messy. The lady who did my nails did a terrible job. They are so far away from the cuticle they look like they've already grown out.
