Unfortunately we don't have the option to not give any stars but came here yesterday for the first time and will not be returning. I selected their top pedi and the tech who performed it, did a terrible job. I kept repeating how the nail polish was bubbly and uneven and she couldn't see it, even her colleague kept pointing it out. She repainted my big toe twice and the third time her colleague went to fix it but even so, this is how they came out. I won't even begin to comment and show how my child's pedi came out because it looks like the nail tech just had him dip his feet in the water and did nothing else, still looks the same as it did when we walked in. read more

This is my third visit to Escape Nail Salon, This time I have to complain, I asked three times to have my ingrown toe nailed trimed. They completely ignored me as if I was talking to a brick wall. Though I appreciate the fact they they had my hands in hot wax, I would of liked an opportunity to remove my Rings before hand. It took me 2 hours to get wax out of the settings of my rings. Tonight was the most insulting experience I have ever had in my experience at Escape Spa. I've been going here for almost 2 years. Ivy, Holly and Lynn were very rude and provided horrible customer service this evening. I came in for two manicures with dipping powder and two pedicures. The other was for my daughters 12th birthday celebration. This was the worst costumer service ever provided. So much so I almost got up in the middle of my services. Upon being seated I instantly felt a different energy. Mind you I've been coming here almost 2 years. Staff seemed friendly in the past and never was made to feel like I did until tonight. (I take that back, there was another occasion I chose to look past). So much so that my 11 year older daughter gave me eye contact feeling the uncomfortable energy as they were speaking in their language and providing mediocre services. It was evident that they were speaking about me during the entire time of the services . At one point Lynn interpreted what they were saying stating that "they felt I can afford extra." So basically they added on services intentionally increasing my bill without my full understanding. Ivy my foot technician and Lynn being my nail technician were having a very interesting conversation about me and it was personal. Holly began to chime in as well. Holly who was working on my daughter who I initially asked for wax service on her feet had refused my ask and continued to work on my daughter feet without giving her the full experience. I was ignored and Holly proceeded to not add the service. Instead they added extra services for me and intentionally confused me adding $15 for foot wax service, hand wax service and "cuticle" service. Cuticle services are usually apart of the manicure there should not have been added cost. The cuticle service was provided after applying the dipping powder to my nails. Usually you get a full manicure before the dipping power is applied. Upset I left my daughter after I paid for our services and the poorly communicated extras and waited in the car. My daughter stayed and witnessed the conversation increase with tones that were not pleasant as they continued their personal conversation about myself and my daughter. Holly then snatched my 12 year old daughter toe separators off her feet upon completion of services. Again poor customer service. They offered my daughter another fruit plate as a complementary and insisted she give it to me upon her exit which I believe they did something to it rather than an effort to make up for the poor experience. read more

After reading the reviews, honestly I was nervous going here but honestly I am glad I did. I think my toes turned out perfectly, I got pedicure with shellac. I was there only one there so it was quiet, the only reason it got 4 instead of stars was because the chair was a little uncomfortable but the quality was a 10/10. I can't remember the guys name I went too but he was nice, very patient and I think he did a wonderful job. I will be returning. read more

The manager here has a bad attitude. I was here to get a new shellac color and take off the one I had. There was a little wait because it was Friday. Cool I understand. Thought I could soak them off while I wait so I asked her. She stated she doesn't do any work and there is no one available yet to work on my nails . Basically she said wait till I get seen. Which wouldn't make much sense after waiting for about an hr. Now my rating is for her attitude included with my service . If I were rating the person who did my nails alone. It would be 5 stars. I hate leaving reviews like this but it needs to be brought to the owners attention. The second I walked in the door I knew this was going to be a poor experience, but I didn't have enough time to make it to my usual salon so here is where I went. Walking through the door, I was greeted by the manager/owner who had a cup with ice she was throwing back and chewing on. I quickly let her know I was looking for shellac, she tosses me the shellac color options while she continues to shake ice into her mouth, I couldn't find a burgundy so I ask if she has that shade. We both start looking for the color while she sits and continues to chew this ice. I settle for black. I get seating quickly and I have 2 techs working on me, one pedi and the other the full set. The young girl doing my pedi was new so I'm understanding but she filed my nails down so short it hurt. The technician doing the full set, although very sweet, messed up so much. The first black shellac she used was coming on gray so she did 2 layers then had to go back and find a new black. I told her I didn't like the shape but she assured me she would fix it. While I was there another customer started yelling and cussing out the staff about how poorly they were doing. She made such a big scene that I felt bad telling the manager or tech that I was unsatisfied with the service. I was also about to be late to pick up my kids so I paid and left. $65!!!!! Today, the next day... the shellac is peeling off, I'm assuming because of how many layers she put, also my nails look so chunky and uneven... I'm going in tomorrow to have these nail removed and get my money back, I have never been so I'm satisfied with a nail salon. . read more

I've been going here for a while but I'll be honest, the girl that is the Manager will try to get as many people in as possible and sacrifice service. I think this change happened when Apple Nails opened across the street and they started to lose patrons. Today I called ahead to ask how long the wait was and she said,"there is no wait come in now". When I got there, I asked how long the wait would be again b/c I had somewhere to be and could see no available techs however she insisted "just one minute"; After 10 minutes there was no sign of availability. She could've just been honest rather than sitting me in a chair for a pedi clearly seeing that I needed to know the timing. I went right across the street to Apple Nails and they were honest the wait would be about 20 minutes. read more

I walked in hopeful. It's a great location, looks nice, professional welcome. It's much closer to home than where I usually go (30 minute drive I didn't feel like making this day). Then my nail tech started and it was downhill. She was super aggressive in removing my previous shellac, to the point that one of my fingers was bruised. And she rushed through the entire manicure process, starting with soaking my nails in cold water and finishing with a hand and arm massage using CUTICLE oil (I have never had a tech use cuticle oil to massage my whole hand and arm. And I must add, she did not use the cuticle oil on my actual cuticles before trimming them.). Although the final product looks great (I love the color I chose), I left feeling like, what the hell did I just experience. It didn't feel relaxing at all. I got the impression she was new and someone told her she needed to learn to work faster. But she needed to slow down and do it right. There was not a line of people waiting so there was no need to rush. Maybe it was just this nail tech, but she left a sour enough memory that I don't want to try anyone else. I love trying brand new nail salons. The fresh paint, the all-functioning spa pedi chairs, and the 'clean' feel and smell is so attractive. After seeing a lot of other salons nearby with a packed parking lot, I remembered seeing Escape a little hidden behind a new shopping strip, and gave it a shot. I walked in, immediately was seated, offfered a drink, given a 'service menu', and chose a shellac mani and spa pedi. I was pretty happy with both. The shellac could have been painted with a little more precision, but still came out fine. Pedi was awesome, and the atmosphere is quiet and comfortable. The only small things I don't like about EVERY SINGLE NAIL SALON i've ever visited, and probably in every one in existence, is the chatter. I understand nail technicians are together all day long, but do they have to talk a ton? It wasn't as bad as Ive experienced before, but lighter. Then I also don't like when they ask YOU a ton of questions. Where do you live? Where do you usually go? How much do you pay over there? Are you gonna come back? I only get pink and white or solar nails done. I'm extremely picky too. I've gone here about 6 or 7 times. This was the last time, the past two times I've been they haven't had enough staff to get me in. Also my nails are lifting a lot! I've never had that problem before. I wash my hands a lot and I'm extremely concerned about fungus growth under there. There is one guy who sits by the door, he's good but that's about it. I switched to this salon from Nail Spa One when my manicurist Helen moved. My favorite thing about this salon is that it's much more serene and peaceful than Nail Spa One. It's not jam packed with displays of products no one buys, and there aren't advertisements plastered all over the walls. It's much quieter too. They have all the polish colors organized and numbered, so if you have a favorite, it will be easy to find it again. read more

I had a regular manicure which was $15.00 I had Linh apply my nail polish and I would say her actual application and technique was fair. I did like that she did not cut too much off of my cuticles. When we arrived they sat us on opposite sides, when we requested to sit beside each other they seemed bothered and upset about our request. Who wants to sit on opposite sides not speaking to the person you came with? They started our pedicure and took well over 20 minutes to just get started on my sisters, which was only started due to me asking about it! I also got the shellac, my nails looked great however when it came to paying my nail tech kept asking for more of a tip. I figured my tip was well enough but they seemed upset by it as well. The next day (not even 24 hours later) one of my nails lifted up, they others were bumpy, wide and thick just ugly. It was not worth my money. Great experience! Today I picked this salon at random because it was near by. I'm from out of town and was visiting the area. "Anne" was my nail tech and she was sweet and did a great job on my French manicure. She did give me a teeny tiny nick on one of my cuticles. I could tell she was mortified! It's evening now and I can't even see it. I noticed the lady next to me was getting her eyebrows waxed and Anne could tell I was intrigued. She said she could wax mine for $7. I'd never had it done and OH BOY!! I had no idea how much my brows needed to be shaped! She did a fantastic job! It was $48 for the gel French manicure and an eyebrow wax. This is my first and last time here. Horrible customer service. I came in to do a new full set. Not sure what the lady's name was but she ripped the bed of my real nail off while taking off my original acrylic nail. Usually all the salons I go to would soak them until it can easily be filed down. This happened to three of my nails. I told her that I do not want to do my nails anymore. She already knew I was upset. She finished up what she was doing and added some lotion to my hands to finish it off. Money is not an issue for me but she charged me $5 to take off my nails. Now if she took them off with out ripping off the bed of my nails I would have been okay with it. Why would you charge me if you tore the bed of my nail off I asked.. her reply was we usually charge $10 but since I used lotion and took off your nail I will only charge you$5.00... giving her a confused look. I went in yesterday which I normally never go during the week because I always schedule w/ my nail tech on the weekends but she was out and with Graduations for the rest of May I had to go in. The only guy in the shop did my pedicure & the pedicure was absolutely horrible. The pedicure was done out of order in my opinion because he didn't clip my cuticles until the very end after scrub, massage etc.. he seemed to have no clue on how to cut my nail or shape it I'm definitely not satisfied with the shape of my toe nails... he got up twice during my pedi I thought was pretty rude once I was done I picked a color that was not available so I had to choose another one & the owner came back to paint my toenails not sure why he didn't finish. After she painted my toenails she just walked off. Eventually I got up to go to the dry bar with the nail tech that did my manicure which also made me feel very rushed because she had appointments after me so I ended up just getting a basic mani with clear polish. My experience was horrible I couldn't believe what had just happened. I was very disappointed yesterday in a nail shop that I have been visiting for 3 years now. I've been here before, but today's experience was awful. Called yesterday and made an appointment. Waited 20 minutes in the pedicure chairs... my mom, daughter, and myself. Tam was my pedicurist ... he was brusque, even rude. He rushed the whole damn thing, and didn't even offer a flower or any design. Also, when he did my wax dip, he didn't ask if it was too hot until I recoiled from it. It was so hot that it felt cold at first. Manicure? More like cutting off what nails I had and not even filing the edges. The nippers weren't sharp, because he was constantly pulling my cuticles. It hurt! Worst manicure every. Why 2 stars? It's your mediocre nail salon. They could do some tidying up on the cleaning and customer service. I feel like they are always in a rush and don't really listen to what you're asking for. They juggle 2-3 clients per technician at once so they aren't really paying attention. They need more technicians. The prices are a little cheaper than the other salons in the area. read more

Had to repeatedly ask them to unstick it from my skin/under my nail. Maybe because I went close to closing but my pedi looked like crap! I paid $40 plus tip. Now perhaps because I was with someone and chatting I didn't notice that she barely scrubbed the bottom of my feet. I know it's not fun to do that as a technician but isn't that part of the job? The cuticles didn't look great either. I wish I would have taken some pics to show the before and after. It didn't look much different. It was a waste of money. I could have easily done a better job at home putting my feet in a mop bucket! Don't waste ur time or money. I've been here a handful of times and always am pleased with my nails and toe nails. The extra fee for shellac is $18. If you ask for a pedi and a mani they will do them both simultaneously, which is nice but takes away from the relaxation part of the process because you can't have the massage chair on or read a magazine. I usually only get the basic treatments and I'm happy with I pay for. read more
