Not only did she not do any of the above, my pedicure was 'complete' in about 10 minutes. I was very disappointed. I did not want to pay for this service. If you want a salon that is peaceful and the nail techs are friendly and talented, this is the place to come! No TVs and the folks work quickly but give you everything you need. I was referred here by a friend who loves the place but sadly, I can't say the same. The women who did my nails was unfriendly and seemed like she was in a rush. She was unnecessarily rough on my cuticles which would only become more inflamed when she determined after fully completing my nails that the polish she was using was "old". As a result, she had to soak my already bruised cuticles in acetone for 10 minutes to remove the shellac. Here I am a day later and can't bumped my fingers into anything because the cuticles are raw and scabbing. Needless to say, I'm considering calling the salon and complaining. I'll be taking my business elsewhere and would recommend others do the same. read more

I thought I would give this salon a try because it was so close to where I live and was pleasantly surprised by my experience! The salon looked clean, inviting, and well organized- no pushy advertisements or displays. I walked in with no appointment and was taken care of right away. The women who did my shellac was very nice, didn't rush or hurt me, and is probably the most pleasant person to have ever done my nails! The bill came to $30 and although is a little more than I might usually pay for a shellac manicure, I'm more than happy to for the great service and care that was taken. I'll let the pictures speak for themselves. I had a shellac manicure with an overlay. I requested for the nail tech to clean up the edges and even went back after I left to try to get them to fix it. All he did was run my nails with a cotton ball with acetone. I literally just left there 5 minutes ago and my nails look all scratched up. I will definitely be back! I was a little nervous trying a new nail place, but I'm glad I did. Location: Its conveniently located on Atascocita Road with plenty of parking. The sign is big enough to see from the street. Once inside you are not hit by the notorious "nail salon smell" and they said that was because they do not use acrylic, they only offer solar. It was extremely clean and very quiet for the those customers who want to nap in the massage chairs. Staff: The ladies that work here have been here for 3 years and they were extremely nice. There was only 2 women working when I walked in and only one customer. They took me right away, but one more person walked in and they immediately called in a third nail tech. They engage in conversation, which I enjoyed. It apparent that they have a lot of regulars, because they learn your name and call you by your name while you're there. They only spoke in their native language once, which was while they were one their phone calling the other nail tech in to help and they spoke really good English. Finished Product: I went in for the Shellac Manicure and Shellac Pedicure. I loved that they did 3 coats of polish and 2 coats of sealing coat. I paid $70 total ($30 mani & $40 pedi), which I thought was pretty reasonable, seeing that I paid $65 and my previous nail salon. The pedicure came with a scrub on your legs and feet which I thought was an up charge, but I was wrong. My feet feel very soft and I loved that they did not use the cheese grater on my heels! I hate that thing! Overall, I think anyone should give this place a try! You'll love it read more

I've been going to Trang (first station on the left by the polish) for almost 3 years now. I recently moved to Conroe and I still come out here to have her do my nails. I've never had one problem. Not even a crooked nail. She's prompt, clean and does an awesome job. All the ladies are nice and always remember me and make sure to say hi. First time here for eyelash extensions and Tran did a great job. She was able to fit in a same day appointment on short notice after several other lash places were booked for days. She consulted with me beforehand to find out how I liked my lashes. I went with size 12's natural with a mix of thick and thin. It was very relaxing, I fell asleep for a few minutes as it took about an hour and a half. Price was a bit higher than others at $100 for full set but the lashes seem good quality and the salon was clean and welcoming. read more

I'm really disappointed. I normally go somewhere else (that I'm happy with) but with the good reviews and closer distance to my house, I decided to give this place a try. I came in around 5 (one hour before close) and I felt my technician was irritated and rushed doing my nails! I got the dip powder nails like I always do. At the end, a clear coat was put on top which is normal, however I was asked to put my nails under the UV lamp.... I found this odd because I've never had to do this with dip powder. Sure enough, the NEXT day the clear polish started bubbling up and peeling off. By day 2, all of the shiny top coat was off and the dip powder itself started to chip. Needless to say, for $55 (after tip) I am not very happy! I can usually go 2+ weeks before my dip may chip! Unfortunately, I can't feel comfortable going back here... huge waste of money for me :( read more

Nail broke on Saturday, I went in on Monday to get it fixed and it was horrible. I guess since she was only fixing one nail she didn't feel the need to do quality work. I took my boyfriend here after visiting the nearby Bahamas bucks. The location was pretty but the parking was horrible because of the amount of people that go to Bahamas bucks. I'm pretty impressed with my pedicure I think this is the best French toes I've had. My boyfriend also got a pedicure and had an okay experience. He enjoyed it and almost fell asleep with the extremely comfortable seats. The only bad thing that happened was that he actually bled a little when cutting his cuticles. He said it was in so much pain while walking. Idk if it's because men's feet are more rough or more difficult for them to clean but I saw the blood and felt bad for him. read more

My mom and I absolutely LOVE this nail salon. We have been going for about 6 years now and have never left unsatisfied with our nails, eyebrows, etc. The salon always feels so clean and everyone is so nice. I don't even live in the area during the school year, but I wait to get my nails done until I come back because I can't find a nail salon like this one! They welcome walk ins, but I suggest making an appointment if you can because they can get to be pretty busy, especially on the weekends. I highly recommend this salon. Ask for Jennifer! I wanted to try a new place and many of the ladies in my neighborhood reccomend sorellas. I have very thin nails which already have gel on them, so I just needed a refill. I had a specific photo of what I wanted, all white with the glitter at the nail bed, pretty straight forward. Instead I got my same whit tips, pink nail bed, with glitter on top. I came home to refile because they were still very sharp. Positives, the lady who did my nails was extremely gentle. she did not clip anything which is guarenteed bleeding for me. She was also quick. Cons, she did not listen to me. A bit disappointed in that, but I really don't want to get my nail tech on her bad side with a file in her hands. Fair price as well. I went here the other day for my birthday and got white shellac (with no design) on my nails. I paid $30 and gave $5 to the woman who did my nails as a tip because I was feeling generous and happy. Four days later it started peeling off and even my boyfriend said she did a HORRIBLE job!! It looked see through, watered down, and thin. On their webpage it says shellac is $20, but for some reason (on my birthday!!) I paid $15 more. Not only that, but the woman's son was bothering her the entire time so she kept having to stop in the middle of the process to make sure her son wasn't being a bother to her or anyone else. There were also no customers there and when two women walked in they were denied because they were severely understaffed in the middle of the day on a Friday. If this was the best employee and experience offered by this establishment then I definitely won't be going back again. read more

The salon is very clean - they've just done a remodel, which brightens it up, even thought it looked great before - and there's no 'nail salon smell'. There's a great selection of colors. The owners and other technicians make a point of asking your name, finding out about you, remembering details to ask you on your next visit.
