I went to get a "quick" pedicure during lunch. I walked in to the salon and there was no one there. The workers were lounging with blankets during a lull period. I get that so I figured I would get in and out, boy was I wrong. I told the technician that I was in a hurry and wanted a simple pedicure, I don't need the massage, the oils, the fragrances. She didn't listen and thus, the review and rating is not good. Not only was I going to be late getting back to work, I told her my back hurts and I can't sit in that chair for over an hour. She did a great job on my pedicure but the overall experience was negative because of the time it took. It should not take one hour and 20 minutes for a simple pedicure. She added so many coats of polish I had to ask her to stop. Also, she put so much oil on my feet, I told her not to put too much because I had to put my shoes on to go into work. Quick and efficient! On my lunch break and they finished me quick and painlessly for a fill. I really liked that part, since normally places take forever to do my nails and will cut my cuticles too much and make me bleed. This place was pain free! Only drawback is it wasn't a perfect job, (slightly uneven/thin paint -probably needed one more coat) but for the time taken and money spent it was great! read more

DO NOT GIVE THEM YOUR SERVICE !!! While getting a pedicure and full set done at the same time the lady that was doing my nails, was completely rude. She kept trying to bribe me into getting extra services that I had respectfully declined to a numerous of times. So she began to do my nails in a very hard manner to were she was cutting into my skin around my cuticles with the sander. I informed her that she was hurting me and she still proceeded to sand, I yanked my hand back a little and she snatched my hand. I respectfully told her that was very rude of her to do and that she will not disrespect me the way she was doing. She began talk to her co-workers in a different language (no disrespect) and it was very obvious the conversation was about me by the tone of her voice. When it was time to pay she snatched my card out of my hands, I then began to tell her about herself because her disrespect was over the top and uncalled for. First time coming here since my other nail shop hasnt opened back up yet. A friend of mine always comes to this location and her nails always look great so I thought "Why not?" Usually the place I go to I get a full set and my toes done for under $75, but at this location I spent about $95 for ombre nails and a regular pedicure. The staff is very friendly and the environment is very homey. I dont remember who exactly did my nails but she was the lady in the far right corner in the back. First day my nails were bomb! But as soon as I left the store my butterflies started coming off, and now today is the second day and ALL of my butterflies had come off. My set by itself was $75 but for that price and the quality of the nails is definitely a miss. My pedicure was great, however, so Id definitely recommend that. They are absolutely rude and have horrible service. I first start coming here because a friend of mines once came here. She doesn't anymore but I see why. They charge you full price for refills and they hate letting you soak off nails. I will keep drilling your nails over and over just so they can go fast. When I corrected them on a mistaken color the lady got mad and balled her fist up in anger due to her human error. Instead of cleaning supplies I notice they just put it back in a cip or case. They greeted me when I came in, they offered me adult beverages (which is always a win) and started working on my nails. Once my old nail set was taken off, they walked me back to get my feet done. First time in! Took my little sister to get hands/feet painted & half of her little nails weren't done. As for me I got a full set w/shellac on top . The gentlemen who did them cut me 3 times and kept saying "it's ok it's small ". One cut okay , accidents happen but three? Then I wanted a metallic coat of shellac once it came to setting it the gel started melting off my nail. Nina's Nails & Spa should be called "Petty's 'R Us" b/c the staff is extremely unprofessional, incompetent, and trifling. Yesterday I paid over $100 for a full set, pedicure, and individual lashes. The full set was mediocre at best and the lashes were glued all over the place with very visible glue globs all around my lash line. I hated them so much that I went back this afternoon to have them removed when the most ridiculousness ensued. They were so offended that I wanted the lashes removed after only one day that they told me I would have to wait 15 minutes when I could clearly see at least two employees who do lashes available. Then one, clearly not aware they were giving me the runaround, volunteered to assist. Immediately they began speaking in what I think is Korean to fill her in. Not only did she (I believe her name is Kathy - she's the pregnant one) have the nerve to begin snatching lashes off with tweezers (very painful so I insisted she use glue remover) but she purposely wiped my eyebrows off to solidify my perception of this establishment as the Pettiest Place on Earth! I wanted to go off and let everyone there know how ridiculous this so-called 'spa' is, but because I have class and tact (something you won't find there) I decided to write this review instead. I went in for a full set (eyelash extensions) and I was pleased with the price, application and appearance. They don't have private rooms where they apply lashes so they perform this service in the same area where they do nails. I think this is the reason for the strong odor. The adhesive used for eyelashes is strong. It didn't bother me because Nina was very fast in applying my eyelashes so I wasn't there long. I told her what I wanted and she delivered beautifully. This place is very reasonable and does a good job. My criteria was (1) clean and safe application (2) fast (3) cost. I paid $50 for a full set of individual lashes and was in and out in less than 30 minutes. I could have gone elsewhere and paid more money, received the same results and been in more of a spa like atmosphere but my aim was to meet my 3 criteria above. I will return to Nina. read more

Hello, I came in on a weekend and there was a ton of people waiting so I began to walk out the door. Some of the technicians yelled for me to ce back in because a lot of people were waiting to get lash extensions. The fumes in this place we're really strong, but I'm not sure why. I watched the technicians double dip while waxing. I was there for a gel/shellac manicure. I have gotten several but never at this location because I was visiting from out of town. The polish I chose was a light color that i often wear but it was way too thick and did not go on evenly. It was streaked and you could see through it in spots. Shellac polish has to be thinned with a special liquid or heated if used more than 10 times. This was clearly overdue to be replaced. The more I told the technician to stop and the more she said it would get better with more polish. It did not and I'm sorry I wasted time and money. I did not have time to go back to get them fixed. I would not ever come back here for a manicure. read more

When i first got inside i was really excited because they took me in right away, but that's where the excitement ended. Everything about my experience was pretty OK, they did the usually nail shop routine trying to up sell me for a better package. I just got a simple package and i could feel they were a little put out because i didn't go for the 100+ package but the lady still took her time with me. She did my nails pretty OK. So I had a pedicure somewhere else and did I realize how much better this place is. I got a citrus delux spa and wow! I have requested david before. I am usually weird about a man touching u but honestly he is so professional that u can't tell at all. He is effective and not very talkative with me or his co-workers which I like. He didn't even flinch when I knew my feet where bad and I knew he would have to scrub and file way more then usual! He didn't make u feel bad or anything. I went into Nina Nails to have an overlay removed from my nails, and the MALE technician destroyed the nail bed on EVERY finger. I told Nina I was not happy with how her tech destroyed my nails, showed her how crooked several of the nails were, and her response was "Oh, give me a minute and I'll file some more for you" If there had been the option to leave zero stars, I would have. I decided to try this salon in spite of the reviews. It was a mistake. I had a deluxe pedicure and the lady that did it rushed even though there weren't customers waiting. The only tool she used on my feet was the clippers-she did not file or buff my nails or feet. she used the base coat but did not put the top coat on my nails and one is already chipping after 24 hours. On the positive side, they had plenty of employees walking around so there was no wait time. Plus my friend got a gel manicure and the guy that did her hands did a terrific job and her nails look great. Just relocated from MN. Trying to find a good nail salon again. This place gets pretty busy. Prices were quoted differently on phone then what I actually had to pay. The "gel manicure" doesn't include the manicure. They told me $18 for the gel manicure over the phone but that was only for the polish application. There basic pedicure includes no massage just cleaning up of the nails and polish. If I'm paying this much to get my nails done I expect a massage with it otherwise I can just do my nails at home. The place is decorated nicely and the manicurist I had did do a good job. Overall I think they are a bit over priced for the service. read more
