Strictly for EYEBROW WAXING: Kathy is excellent at waxing. She is very efficient and makes little small talk, which I like. The waxing room is certainly not glamorous but it's acceptable. They could do better in terms of overall customer service (little to no thank yous, not sure if she washed her hands before waxing?), but Kathy does such a good job with the shape and waxing that I always come back. Do not expect a luxurious spa experience. There's no drinks, no music, just the basics here. read more

Best place to get your nails and eyebrows done. I'm extremely particular about my nails, but Tommy does an amazing job every time. I get so many compliments on my nails. I just let him do whatever he wants on them because he's that good. And I'm a complete control freak! This past time he did these glitter blue tips and everyone loved them! It's a small mom and pop nail place, but it's a great solid place. Sometimes because of work I have to come really late, but they're always accommodating. They'll stay way pass closing time just so I can get my nails done, which is fantastic. And I only let Cathy do my eyebrows. I use to go all the way to this salon in Georgetown and pay $35 just to get my eyebrows done, but then I found her, and she blows them away! And she only charges $12! I would pay her whatever she wants because she's just so amazing! My eyebrows are really difficult, they're so light and scattered, so a lot of times it's easy to mess them up when they get too wax happy. But she does it perfectly each time. If you come at night, she gets really busy and sometimes there's a line of 2 or 3 people waiting, but it's quick and so worth the wait. Extremely happy every time I come. read more

Nail Pro is the worst salon I have ever been to. To begin with, the lady that did my nails had horrible customer service in addition to her attitude the entire time. Her husband started on my acrylics, sneezed on on his hands and wiped his nose while then proceeding to touch my nails to continue adding the fake nails which was disgusting !!! one of the nails was very crooked. Before his wife started adding the acrylic powder I kindly let her know that the nail was extremely crooked and needed to be fixed. She shrugged & ignored my request. I let it go assuming that she would go back to the nail after filing. I asked her again & she ignored my request once again. She then proceeded to add the powder to my nails, I stopped her again & told her "this is the 3rd time I have asked to correct this nail & you are ignoring it " she then aggressively files my pinky nail which then breaks off. She then replaced both my pinky nail & the crooked nail. After a while, she left the acrylic dry on my skin and never felt the need to check back on all needs of my nails. Lastly, my cousin also went with me to get her full set completed which normally is $33. She asked for regular clear nail polish and the tech instead gave her gel clear nail polish and charged her $55 for something she did not ask for. After leaving the salon angrily she noticed a hair in the acrylic nail. Very unsanitary!!This a horrible nail salon, bad customer service, 100% DO NOT recommend. Came here a few days ago with a gift certificate. The lady gave me the nail book to choose a color and within two seconds was nagging me to pick a color fast. The nail equipment looked pretty worn out and I really doubt they properly decontaminated all the instruments (even though I was sure to ask). She did a very mediocre and somewhat sloppy job on my nails. Certainly not worth 38 dollars. Now about three days later the nails are already beginning to peal! The worst service & unprofessional nail salon!!! A total waste of time & money. I went to this salon for a gel fill in & regular pedi on 5/11. This place charged me $83 (this is not including tip) for it and 3 days later the fill started chipping off. I've never had that happen before. My gel fill in usually lasts at least 2 weeks. The regular Nail Salon I go to charges me $80+ and that's including eyebrow wax!! I asked the guy who was doing my nail if he could fix the old layer prior to filling. He was NOT happy with that request and told me that they don't fix old refill, he can only apply new refill. MOST nail technician would actually fix your old gel before refilling it. I went yesterday for a fill and 3 nail repairs. It was my first time and at their price i said why not. The nail tech took 30 minutes to file my nails and cut my cuticle in the process. He didnt stop to twnd to mt bleeding finger. When he finally filled them and shaped them they looked horrible. Three nails on my right hand are crooked and my thumbs are obviously too small for my finger. He splashed some alcohol on one hand and told me to wash. Worst nail job I've ever had. One of my nails was lifting badly so I asked her to remove acrylic and do that one new and she said no its fine and just put glue...a week later and it's falling off. Tried to explain to her that she shaped my nails terribly and she needed to just cut them down and she told me that it was just because of the angle. My daughter picked one from a shellac - looked the same as all the others. When we checked out - they charged $46 more for basically clear nail polish and said it was gel. I have always liked coming here until tonight. I will not be back after tonight. I called and asked what time the store closed (even though seeing online it said until 8pm). I called at 630 pm to double check and they said 8pm but they stop taking customers at 730 pm. Good to know. I showed up at 658pm to give myself enough time and the door was locked. There was a customer in there. A staff member opened the door and said they were closed. I said your door says 8 and I called a half hour ago and she said y'all close at 8 but stop taking customers at 730. I was there at 7! And then she says they are busy. There was at least two staff members in the building and only 1 customer. I had a babysitter to come get my nails done before leaving for vacation tomorrow. Really. Not ok. read more

This place is only good for a quick manicure, its a little overpriced considering the rushed service here. Pros: tommy does a good job at squaring the nails, he is also aware of his customers and he makes sure you like what you get. Cons: the place is very small, dirty, unkempt. Made me think twice about getting my nails done here. Because its in a mall i think they get constant customers and are therefore rushed, so you end up sitting there waiting while your technician is helping other clients at the same time. I can only say 2 good things about this nail salon. One, its open until 9:00 pm and two, I was refunded the money I paid for a bad pedicure. The technician who gave me a pedicure cut the skin on my heels too closely using a razor. My heels began to bleed when I put pressure on them walking. When I spoke to the manager a couple days later he did refund the money I paid for the pedicure. However, he questioned my claim, said his tech has 4 years experience and he lectured me about dry heels and sandals. I would have liked an apology instead. Pedicure was 37 that is how much I pay for a fill. Only reason I came is because I needed one but stay away ! She wouldn't stop talking about a gel pedicure and how it's good! I told her I wanted a regular pedicure and she wouldn't be quiet about the gel pedicure so I went with it! She did a massage and it lasted like one minute. Just some advise to not come here! This place is awful... I walked in and it took about 5 minutes to explain to the girl what I wanted. Which was a full set of fake/acrylic nails. (Pink and white powder) she sat me down at the guys table who works there. Had a great time with him. He was so nice and cracking jokes. He didn't add whit powder to the tips of my nails, only a white tip/extension. So I was already in the mindset of not coming back. Once finished my nails are crooked and extremely edgy. When it came time to pay the sign said 35$ for a full acrylic set. (Which in Texas i pay 35-45 so that's pretty normal) he stood at the register and just looked at me waiting for me to hand him my card. I look at at him and asked if he was going to tell me how much it was. He said $60. I said excuse me? Your sign says 35? He said no no, look. In tiny sharpie it said $55. He said see? 55$. So I said okay so why are you charging me $60 tax is not $5 even. I paid the stupid $60. Didn't not leave a tip and they immediately started talking in their language. NEVER GOING BACK. I'd give this place negative stars if I could. It's so dirty and the lady who did my nails was eating the whole time and literally burped her chick-fil-a smelling breath in my face. During my manicure, she used the electric file on my SKIN, which caused me to BLEED, and she didn't stop or say anything. She didn't even bother to shape my nails and they are at uneven lengths. My pedi was also the worst I've ever gotten, honestly I could have done a better job myself if I were blindfolded. I haven't been too impressed with this salon... But I'll start with the positives. I've had manis, pedis, and eyebrow waxes done here over several years since I have lived in the area. One of the benefits to this place is that they're open until about 9, which is convenient for those who work late or have other errands to run. I also like the way they have shaped my eyebrows when waxing. However, the place is very dirty. Vents have dust collecting on them, and the entire place looks like it needs a good scrubbing. After receiving a pedi, I noticed three small, itchy bumps on my toe shortly afterwards. Coincidence? I think not. The workers there aren't very friendly or sweet. I was so rushed through my service while getting a gel manicure. Kathy had me in and out of the chair in 20 minutes! While I appreciate a quick service, this was not relaxing or enjoyable. Do not go to this nail salon! I called to make an appointment for both my sister and I to get a acrylic set and a fill for dip gel. one of the workers answered The phone and didn't even mention the name of the company nor even a hello, just a " what?" Which I thought was very rude and unprofessional, I had to literally ask if they were a nail salon and he said "yea..?" In a rude voice.. Which I then asked how much a acrylic set was and he paused for about 10 seconds and then proceeded to say 55 dollars...which I thought was very overpriced but whatever... I then asked how much a fill for a dip gel was and he said 55 as well... are you kidding me..??!? The nail salon that I usually go to (unfortunately closed at the time) only charged 40 for acrylic, and 25 for a fill.. I then just set up an appointment due to the fact I had a wedding to go to the next morning, and was short on time. My sister and I arrived at the nail salon and looked up at the prices for acrylic set and fill and the prices that the guy had told us were completely different from what the listing prices said, For an acrylic set it was $40 dollars and for a fill it was $45 dollars. When my sister pointed it out to the guy that he was up charging us he got mad and just said that he was only going to charge her $40 for her nails and me $45.. he was the only one there so he seated my sister first and started working on her nails which everything was going "OK" till he started jerking her hands around and pulling her hands pretty hard while trying to size her fingernails and while he was trying to put the acrylic gel on her hands, he threw her hand so hard it bumped into his tablet (which btw he was watching a movie on his tablet while doing her nails) and got irritated.. When it came to put the design stickers on, he put them on so sloppy that it looked like a 5 year old did it.. after he was done putting on the top coat, he had her walk over to the drying table then asked if He could start on my nails, which I said no because I'm not paying 55 dollars to have my nails look like a child did them! While my sister's nails were drying we both noticed that they looked horrible.. there was lumps, uneven coats, and on her thumbnail there was a bubble of too much top coat! She ended up paying 50 dollars for all the work and the guy had the nerve to say that they would only last about a day or two..?? WHAT?! He knows I don't have time to visit the salon every 2 weeks so he did some kind of gel crystal for me that will last a month!And I don't like long nail and don't like putting tip on my nail and he is still manage to do crystal gel French nail for me ! This is a sad little place. I went in today for an urgent mani, and the fact that there was one tech, one "manager," and no customers should have been a clue. There was no soaking, minimal massage and lotion. She did ask me if I wanted my nails trimmed. which she did haphazardly. She then filed away top and sides. The side file came very close to filing my skin...I think it actually did come close to the skin. There was no conversation, and she seemed bored, and not engaged with her customer (me). Also, I noted that when she wasn't pleased with the clipped in the sealed package, she took one from another (open) package in the desk drawer. Also saw her rinsing tools in plain water, but I believe (have to believe or I will be grossed out) that they were the ones she used on me. The polish job does look good. That's about the best I can say. 1 star just because I have to have one to get this published. read more

I have been a client here for many years. However, the only thing that has really kept me around is Kathy. I have been going to Kathy to get my eyebrows done since I was in my freshman year of high school. She has always done a fabulous job at shaping my eyebrows. She has never overplucked, overwaxed, and she does it quickly and efficiently. However, there are times where she is out on vacation and is gone for several weeks (like as of right now, she will be out until March 19th which is more than a month away). They have another lady who does waxing but do not and I repeat DO NOT go to her. In my senior year of high school, I was desperate to have my eyebrows done before I had to get my senior photos taken and decided to give the other lady a shot. That was a huge mistake. She ripped off half of my eyebrow (this is not an exaggeration) and tried to cover it up by filling them in before I left. When I got in my car and saw what had happened I was horrified and demanded for my money back. I ended up having to spend three times the amount I had to pay to get my eyebrows done to buy eyebrow makeup and a makeup brush to fill them in for my senior photos (which was only a few days away) at Ulta. I still look at my senior photos and shudder at how horrible my eyebrows looked. This hasn't only happened to me though as it has also happened to several friends of mine when they have gone to the other lady. In regards to manis and pedis, they have had a major decline in the services they provide during the mani/pedi session. When I first started going here (about 7 years ago), they went all out. They massaged your hands, arms, feet, and legs. They also were very diligent in ensuring they removed all hangnails, unkempt cuticles, and made sure you did not bleed. They also used pumice stones and razors to remove dead skin from feet (my feet get really dry in the winter time so I loved that they used the razor). However, they now no longer offer any of this. I have had to request them to use the razor for my feet and sometimes, they look a bit annoyed that I asked. They can also be very careless about what they are doing as there have been several times where my fingers have started to bleed or they have burned the tips of my fingers with the tools they use for acrylics. Tommy has done the best job on my nails out of all of the employees. However, I no longer return to him after he overcharged me for a nail design. I will admit, the nail design I wanted was a bit complex (several lines) but he should have made me aware that he was going to charge me the rate for having a design put on all 10 of your nails despite the fact that I only wanted it on both ring fingers due to him believing he had to put more effort in to the design than what is typically called for. He didn't inform me until I was being charged that he was charging me the 10-nail rate and mocked me by laughing and saying "did you really think I was going to charge you the normal rate when the design you chose took so long," when I looked surprised. I am giving them two stars mostly for Kathy. But also, they always have the current movies playing on the TV they have in the store which is good entertainment while you're getting your nails done as well as entertainment for the friend or boyfriend you end up dragging along with you. read more

While shopping the mall with a friend we spotted Nail Pro. Rather than wait hours at our usual & favorite nail salon we saw that Nail Pro was not busy on a Saturday so decided to give it a try. Gels for my friend and a standard manicure for me we both were immediately dissappointed in everything from service to outcome. The gels were very thick and lumpy in places. Her thumbs looked like they belonged on a toe nail. While he did get the gel polish close to the cuticle (hopefully this allows for greater period of time between grow out) he did not trim her cuticles. The manicure was apalling! He did not soak my cuticles or even have me wash my hands after applying lotion. Also, both my friend and I had terrible hand massages lasting less than 1 min. And that's giving him the bennefit of the doubt. It was more like just rubbing lotion in. None of these issues with the cuticles or nails were noticeable until after service when we were able to see for ourselves up close. Finally, I sat under the drying machine for about 15 mins. & then waited for my friend without moving so my nails would not be wet and still the polish bubbled and smeared off. This does not even deserve one star. Went in for a mani & pedi and the service, the technician was horrible! Pedicure was done in 10 minutes. She basically let me soak my feet for 3 minutes, took my polish off and reprinted. She used the hand tool in replacement of cutting my cuticles with the correct appliance. Same thing for my manicure. Soaked for one minute (no exaggeration) took off polish, buffed and polished. I told her to trim my nails, she literally took the nail clipper and trimmed it to my skin. Meh... this place was alright. I was hoping to get acrylic french tips for school, and so my friend and I walked in, and asked to get acrylics done. My friend got Tommy, and was taken right away. I got this elderly asian lady, and had to wait for 15 minutes, but I understood that, because it was a busy weekend. She asked me what service I wanted and I told her I wanted acrylics, and she insisted that I get gel nails (Like another Yelp reviewer) I said no thank you, and she kept persuading me to get them done, so I finally gave in. She also kept pestering me to get an eyebrow wax, which I firmly said "No thank you" to. While she was doing my nails, I was watching her, (I am in no way a nail "entrepreneur") she wasn't doing gel nails, she was doing acrylics....I didn't want to argue with her anymore, so I let her do what she was doing, and then she finished. The actual nails were not that great. The powder was uneven, and the nails were too square, and there were bubbles underneath the powder. I'd rate it one star for me. Gel nails were I think 35 or 40?
