They cut my friends foot in multiple places and she was bleeding. The sterilization pouches did not even have the seal to close it peeled and the indicator color had not been changed so it had not been sterilized. You could also tell by the way the bag was completely flat because when they go through heat (autoclave) the bags get bigger. I also questioned them about the way the clean their scrub brushes and they got defensive and showed me a bag with open floating brushes whose bristles looked frayed and then the prepackaged scrubbers that did look new. My toe nails are see through they did not do enough coats. I was disappointed in the service and the atmosphere was not relaxing. I am not picky and I have never wrote a bad review before but I will not be coming back :( read more

Meh. 1. Salon was hot. No air turned on when I came in. Sat in the heat for at least 15 minutes before someone (I guess the boss) came in and turned on the air. I mean, we're in a heat wave, why is having air conditioning not a thing? It should have been turned on before the salon even opened so clients could come into a cool place. C'mon, this is all part of the relaxing ambiance these places are supposed to create for clients. ‍ 2. My pedicurists (had two, one substituted for another) were kinda rough with the cuticle cleaning. My cuticles tend to extend with the nail bed, so I kept flinching telling them they were hurting me. I mean my nail beds looked clean, but my feet were in pain. At other salons, when they see my cuticles, they don't cut so deep to the point of almost drawing blood and causing pain. . At this nail salon, I really couldn't close my eyes and relax, I had to watch the pedicurist to make sure they weren't going too deep. Ugh, not enjoyable. 3. No designated foot drying station. Other salons have a designated section of the salon where clients can dry their nails. For this location, you just sit in the pedicure chair and wait for your toenails to dry. Doesn't seem very efficient. Good thing the salon wasn't crowded. Final Word: Left a moderate tip, as I believe in tipping, but I won't return or recommend this place to anyone I know. ‍ read more

Went in for a pedicure and a set of nails. Nails are ok but not what I asked for. Too long and acrylic bubbles on the tips but after being in there almost 3 hours I didn't want to complain. Needed to leave at that point. Pedicure was fine but nails were not really cut or trimmed. They looked ok but 3hours later polish wasn't dry yet and polish smeared everywhere on my toes. I drove back immediately and the polish was fixed but a great inconvenience. I was told that maybe the polish was old? To their credit they tried but for almost $100 I shouldn't feel like I was settling for just ok. read more

Exceptional pedicure! I got the deluxe spa pedicure with essential oil massage (from a Groupon) -- I've found that a lot of times, you get a subpar experience when you show up somewhere with a Groupon certificate, but not here! My pedi was thorough and she really took her time. It included a paraffin dip, salt scrub, leg mask+hot towel, and fantastic oil massage. The massage chairs are very comfortable and the tubs are clean (plus, of course, they use liners for added sanitation). They have a wide variety of polish colors and even had a big selection for gels. Five stars and I will definitely be back, even without a Groupon! read more

Their rating is excellent and their price list is really affordable, so I am excited to try their manicure (dip manicure). However, I was VERY DISAPPOINTED with the results after 2-3 hours. UPDATE: DO NOT GO TO THIS DISGUSTING PLACE. My $25 pedicure came with a free bacterial infection on my leg!! Yey! Please, go somewhere else. This review is definitely going to be a little contradictory - so bear with me. When it comes to nails, they do a good job here. They do a nice pedicure for pretty cheap ($25) with paraffin wax and a leg massage. However - DO NOT GET WAXING DONE. I got my eyebrows waxed the other day and they cut my eyelids so bad, that I was in pain/red the whole day after AND now I have scabs. I look like I have some kind of skin disease. Sure, my eyebrows are nicely groomed, but c'mon. Don't they know not to apply the wax that low?! To top it all off... the lady doing my nails/waxing was sniffing the whole time like she had a cold. During my manicure some snot dripped out of her nose to my horror. Luckily it didn't hit me! But seriously... between snot lady and torn eyelids I won't be returning. read more

These nails were not done well. As you can see, the pinkies and thumbs are not even shapes or lengths. All the nails are super bumpy and my nail tech barely filed down. My middle fingernail of my right hand is shorter than both my ring finger nail and pointer finger, and when I pointed it out to my nail tech, she dismissed my claim, saying it would be filed down and was very rude about it . The polish was unevenly and sparingly applied and very streaky. Her manager stood over her the entire time and never said anything about how the nails were Done. If she was training, this might be acceptable, but I should have been told and should not have been charged full price. I didn't notice all the flaws until I left, so I could not complain while I was there. These are the worst nails I have ever had done. read more

This is the 2nd worst, probably the worst pedicure I've ever had. These reviews on yelp are a lie. Or, the place has new workers that don't know how to do pedicures (and based on another lady here currently getting her nails done, they can't do nails good at all either). I feel completely ripped off. I purchased a livingsocial deal and hit redeem before she started. The place looks extremely low budget and tacky, but I didn't want to judge the looks and lack of updating. The products arel cheap and not worth using. They cut your cuticles instead of using cuticle softer and pushing back. That wasn't done at all. Maybe someone else will do a better job and I just got someone inexperienced, but the products are still crap. read more

I have given this place many many tries but I can't anymore this is not worth the cheap price. I'm not trying to be a Karen but I'm extremely frustrated and upset my nails came out like this after 3 and half hours in the store. I went in, I was getting my nails prepped for TWO HOURS before we started on color and design. Let me start off by saying I have anxiety. I wanted my nails much much longer than this and I told the man once to keep them long but he kept filing down as he repeated the same process 4 times. I was too anxious and afraid to speak up and tell him you've filed my nails n buffed them three times already let's move on so i let him, he absolutely RUINED my cuticles. I had to moisturize them and put heavy oils on twice a day to get them back to somewhat normal. 2 whole hours later he's finally done and I move to the next nail tech to do my color. I show the design n she's much faster, at that point they were closed and I was alone in the store for another hour and half. The design part was extremely rushed, my pointer finger got messed up as soon as I left because it didn't dry before she told me I was good to go. The design on the ring finger was uneven and bled through. While the shape is somewhat almond it's not the way I wanted it (I showed a reference pic) and they were all different shapes and lengths. They are usually very nice people I will admit, it's just the quality of the nails and my experience was so frustrating I literally cried. These nails should not have taken 3.5 hours. I love going there maybe 2-4 times a month. I always do pedicure spa. The owner (i dont know her name) did a great job every time i went.

This is the nail salon I go to during my lunch break. Shh! Don't tell the boss! It's located in the Jermantown Shopping Center and you have to walk into the walkway to reach it. The salon is really small and it gets packed quick. I only go here during off hours so I don't have to wait. However, you can't beat the price and quality. A regular pedicure is $23. I believe a regular manicure is $15, but am not 100% sure. For the regular pedicure they give you a paraffin treatment which is really nice. They also offer a spa pedicure for $40 which includes a long massage, salt scrub, and a whole hour of treatment. The nail techs are very casual and their English is not the best, as other reviewers have described. But it doesn't bother me because I'm Vietnamese too! All the ladies are extremely friendly and do great work. I am giving it 4 stars because I wouldn't recommend it as a place for a wax or massage. I will definitely come back often for a great pedicure! read more
