I decided to try out this nail salon when my normal guy went on vacation. I have had the same nail…read moreguy for 11 years. 9 years when he was at a Manteca shop and the last 2 years he went to a stockton shop. This was an emergency I couldn't wait 2 weeks for him to come back so Tina at Busy Bee was avaliable at first I was super nervous to have someone else do my nails but Tina was awesome. I have been here 4 times now because she is that good: *She made sure she was doing the style I requested *she was super cool with doing LONG nails nails *she is not afraid to try new techniques *she has not once hesitated about my color choices. (I love black acrylic, but it makes a big mess some places won't do it or say black nails will be ugly) *she is not hesitant on using flat matt top coat *she has fit me in last minute for a quick wax *she has been able to fit my grandma in for a pedicure when I brought her in *the shop is cute *lots of colors, stickers designs, foil, jewels, geode style, and tons more. I really do appreciate Busy Bee for being so nice, for making sure I get what I requested, and for having competitive $$ prices. My nail guy is ready to retire in a few months so I am very happy I found such an awesome replacement for him. Tina is younger, she is willing to try new stuff, & her Instagram is full of her creative skills.

My sister and I decided on this place for full set manicures. We were quickly seated and the nail…read moretech was wonderful. My sister got a more intricate design which ended up beautiful. I got no designs so there wasn't alot of room for error, they were perfect. & their pricing is reasonable! The reason for my three star rating is they do not take card and have an ATM machine INSIDE for you to take cash out to pay. I didn't appreciate that AT ALL. I'm not 100% sure why many of these nail places hate taking card. I really didn't want to pull cash out when I can just pay with card. I mentioned this to the nail tech and she responded that it was better for her if I can pay with cash. I didn't like her response. I didn't mind paying a fee associated with the card vs me taking cash out from an ATM that wasn't associated with my bank. When I did a soak off I noticed the nail tech was heavy handed and left "rings of fire" on my nails. But other than that her work was great, they stayed on for about 2-3 weeks.

NT Nail Spa - Nails were very wavy due to filing underneath. Lots of bubbles.

I saw NT posted on Instagram (can't remember if it was an ad or friend) but decided to bookmark it…read moreand check it out. I wanted a fill with new color so I called for an appointment. I arrived about 25mins early and since it wasn't crowded at the time, they were able to get me right in. Hana (I believe that's how she spelled her name!) made sure to check in with me a number of times to ensure color, design, general nail were good to go, which I appreciate. Sometimes at nail salons it gets past the point of being able to fix without starting over so it's helpful to have someone that's actually checking in. When I go back in for my pre-vacation set, I'll be booking with her. I was a bit surprised at the $77 price tag for a fill, but in fairness, I did not look at a price in advance nor did I bother to ask, so I'm not sure how much of it came from the fill itself and how much of it was, the rhinestones added to the nails. Next set won't have the rhinestones by default so we shall see! I'm happy with her final product. :-)

I usually love getting services done here (the CBD pedicure is great!) I went today for a manicure…read more I waited about half an hour, no biggie, except they took back clients before me who got there after me and did not have appointments. (Though sitting there for so long I did notice a cluster of spiders on the ceiling with missing light fixtures) Tony came to get me. When I sat down I told him I wanted a spa manicure with massage and scrub and wax, but that I cannot have gel polish as I am allergic to the UV light (I'm allergic to the sun hence no UV) he said ok. He proceeds with the usual soak and cuticle trimming. Then he says he'll do the massage after the polish and he proceeds to set up to do gel polish. I remind him, I am allergic to UV so I cannot have gel. So then he slaps some lotion on my arms, barely rubs not even for a minute and wipes off with a towel, never getting any on my hands. Then he sloppily painted my nails (very few color options if I don't get gel apparently) so I just got black, which he applied sloppily. He then wrote out my ticket, told me thank you and proceeded to go on to another client who wanted a pedicure and told me to stay in front of the fan till nails dry (while waiting for my nails to dry, I noticed more missing light fixtures and peeling paint on the ceiling) No massage, no scrub, no paraffin dip. I paid $27 (no tip as it was most definitely not deserved) for something I could have just done at home. I was really looking forward to some pampering as I have been taking care of my parents and working full time. I am very disappointed and hope the salon will redeem themselves if I decide to return

I was hoping to stumble across a pedi and a glass wine like at my normal spot (don't judge me) but didn't seem to find any. Reviews seemed to indicate this was a prime spot to stop, so I decided to check it out. It was a quiet afternoon in Fashion so they were able to get me in last minute for both a pedicure and new set. It wasn't the most comfortable or relaxing pedicure I've ever had, but the end result turned out fine in terms of the paint job. As for my nails, I do appreciate corrections that were quickly made when I asked, but I do wish that nail techs in general would speak up early if shown a design that they aren't quite sure they can execute. I'm one that comes in with back up plans just in case, but the color scheme is usually different. So once they say they can do it I'm committed to that design. The one I got was OK... And I did tell him good enough when he asked, but because I knew that was pretty much where we were. I don't dislike it, which is why I didn't go through the trouble of having him try again... But I'm not in love with it. When it came to the painting, it kind of felt like the job started being rushed due to an unhappy customer they were trying to get to. Overall I'd rate the experience a 3.5. Not bad, just not something that would have me running back and committed to this location.

Because we were on a time crunch we said thank you and left. One of the ladies ended up running out after and told us they could take her. Really nice of them to accommodate! The lady doing my daughter's nails was quiet. My daughter is super shy so she didn't say much either lol. What was off putting though was that the person working at the next station over had a potty mouth. I mean I'm not an angel I do swear from time to time but she kept saying cuss words and I'm like dude, do you not see my daughter next to you. My daughter is 11 and yes I know I can't shield her from those things and I know she's heard those words before but it was too much for the setting. Not professional whatsoever. Her client wasn't even speaking that way. Then another employee walks in later and takes a personal call and starts saying bitch to whomever she was speaking to on the phone. Apparently that's how she addresses that person. Overall my daughter was happy with how her nails turned out. I didn't like that they don't take credit card though. My daughter didn't like the vibe with all of the cussing and doesn't want to go back there. She said she didn't feel comfortable. I didn't care for it either. I mean I will say that the employees seem to know their regular clients well which is always a nice thing but the cussing just wasn't professional in my opinion.
