I decided to treat myself to a Self-Care Day for the beginning of the New Year 2026, so I decided to get my nails done. I decided upon a place called "Nail It and Bar!" I had such a wonderful experience during my recent manicure. My nail technician was professional, friendly, and incredibly detail-oriented. She took her time and never rushed through the service, which I really appreciated, especially compared to other salons I have visited. The ambiance was pleasant, clean, and very comfortable. In the background, they had a relaxing musical playlist that included nostalgic 50s tunes and fun 90s pop music. After my nails were finished, I decided to enjoy a 15-minute neck massage, and it was heavenly. She used oil along with a soothing, pain-relief heating ointment that felt amazing. Went back in for a manicure and left very upset. I was asking for fixes along the way and the manicurist seemed irritated. The lines were not clean and the polish was bubbled almost and not smooth. Very thick and bulky with lots of acrylic stuck underneath my nails. It was actually uncomfortable. I spent a lot on mine and my daughter's nails and we both were very disappointed, went to another salon the next day to have them removed. My pedicure went great, but wouldn't recommend for a full set. read more

I took my daughter to do her nails for her graduation. The people there are nice but their work need more experience. The nails are uneven the design Messi honestly they didn't do good and my daughter was so disappointed and she cried because her nails is ruining. I've been coming here for years. The staff is friendly. They are so kind and patient with elderly clients. The facility is always clean. If they are running behind they call to tell me to come later which I really appreciate. I go with my mom who is in a wheelchair but can transfer herself to the pedicure chair. Father daughter time! I've finally convinced dad (over 80) to get a pedicure with me. My hook is that we can go to Starbucks after! This is one of our favorite locations. Like with Starbucks, they have gotten to know dad and treat him really well. Sometimes he only gets his toes cuts and others I have him get the works! Walked in for an acrylic manicure fill. Asked for simple design, French tip nails with two different colors, one on each hand. Inside was very clean and nice. My issue was with the actual manicurist doing my nails. She was struggling to shape them, each nail ended up looking different. She was also struggling to do the basic French tip design. I ask her to fix two nails and she got up and had someone else finish my manicure. On top of that, the owner and 2 other ladies proceeded to stand over me for the remainder of my service. Forgot to trim the nails on one hand I had to remind her. It took three plus every other manicurist to get my polish on. Final result was not what I expected. Everyone will have different experiences when it comes to service industry. My nail tech was mimi and she was very unfriendly and when I requested my nails a certain way refused to do so saying "pink powder not look good on you." I have had pink powder and I know in fact it looks great on me! She proceeded to not listen when I said I wanted shorter. When I had to return because they were too long she was rude. Fast-forward to the following Tuesday my nail popped off less than a week later. I told them I couldn't make it due to work and she insisted that I come before I get off work and made it pretty clear that was the only allowed time. I wish I never went and allowed them to treat me so poorly and ruin my nails. By thursday (0ne week after wasting $65) I had lost 5 nails, she choose too small of acrylic or something for my nails. read more

I asked for magenta coffin nails and I got thick squares and 5 layers of messy red paint . I asked multiple times for her to make the shape thinner and gave up. They were so bad I went to another salon after to get the paint fixed, and then on top of everything the original acrylics started popping off TWO DAYS after I got them done. I can be particular about my nails & how I like them, so it's always nervous trying a new place or someone new but she made me very comfortable, asked how I like my nails, & did a great job. I was nervous about going back to a nail salon after they reopened due to COVID-19 but I actually feel safe in here. I got a pedi and a full set and I love my nails!!! They are following the coronavirus guidelines in a certain way: mask required, hand sanitizer provided, they check you temperature before any type of service, they have like acrylic dividers to separate each area, when is time for your manicure there is a acrylic division with a small gap below it separating you from the manicurist. The gap is big enough for them to do your nails but to keep you safe at the same time. The whole staff was wearing mask and they have a limited access to the salón. First let me say the work is good. That is the only reason for the 2 Star yet, something is greatly off here. They ONLY let you pay via Venmo and you cannot put any notes in regards to any type of nail service. Zelle and Cash is also allowed. Several of my friends go here so I gave them a try. I came to get a gel manicure and pedicure about 245 on a Wednesday. Wasn't busy. They took me back right away however, no one really spoke to me while they were doing my service. My gel manicure was not good. There was still dead skin left around my nail, my nails had not been shaped (filed poorly), and gel polish all around the border. Also, the polish didn't even go to the edge of my nail but it was on the skin. My pedicure was just ok. Nothing significant about it. I got a callus remover and pedicure. Massage was very short and below average. Then at the end, my provider said someone else would come and place a topcoat. I waited over 5 minutes for someone to come (place wasn't even busy). Finally, someone came to place a topcoat. I waited for it to dry for ten minutes. Waited for someone to come back and help me with my shoes. Nothing. I was just left there. Put on my shoes and went to to the front desk. So then when I pay, the lady is busy writing in her notebook. Ok. So I wait some more. She asks me if I had cash for a tip which I felt was rude. No one wants to talk to me except to ask about a tip. Will not be returning and I don't recommend this place. read more

I previously went to a different location that I found on yelp with more reviews but when I was there they were not capable of helping me because I did not had an appointment, So went to my second option on my list and drove there, they greeted me so promptly and help me right away!
