This is my second time here now and I couldn't be more pleased! Han and Thi are the amazing sisters that operate this facility. They are very good at what they do while providing the best customer service and care. They are detail oriented, gentle, and attentive to what you like and want. I absolutely love it here and am happy that I found my regular place to go to. It's very clean and cute! It's also very affordable for a gel manicure and gel pedicure (even if it's chrome or cat-eye, which I've gotten both), so it's awesome that I can tip them more for their pristine work. I highly recommend and will definitely be coming back everytime. 10/10.

I thought long and hard about posting this review and the only reason why I am is only because I saw them post a story in their instagram page about someone else's review saying they were "trying to ruin their 5 star reputation". My first and last visit was back in December. I found them because my husband washes his car right in front of their place. Found them on IG and saw they were by appointment only so I booked online. Day of my appointment I was honestly surprised at how cute and clean their little place was. Waited maybe 5 minutes before getting seated and one of their girls got started on the gel manicure I wanted. Once she was done prepping my nails, on of the 2 sisters who own the place switched places with the first tech and started working on my design. When I showed her what I wanted she didn't say anything about it being too difficult and got to it right away. I wanted to change my design once I saw she was kinda struggling but I was also trusting the process I swear ! Mid design, 2 other clients walked in, and you could tell they were long time clients. Both sisters got up and greeting them and quickly started congratulating one of them (I think one of them was getting married or engaged or something of that sort). They got them glasses and brought wine out to celebrate. All while I was still sitting waiting for her to come back and finish my nails. Instead of returning, she started working on one of the girls and the second sister took her place to finish my nails. She joked around saying, and I quote, "we don't know how to draw for shit" but she would try and get them as close as possible to my inspo. I just want to point out that the main reason I even booked with them was because their IG posts are FULL of pretty designs which are far more elaborate than the black squiggly lines I asked for ! She then said that maybe next time I could text/dm them my design so they could make sure they could do it.. She "finished" my nails, I paid the $30 they charged and I left. I honestly don't think I'll ever be back as I already found a new nail tech that nails it every time, but I just wanted to come here and say, hey, maybe don't blast your clients on social media and try to learn to accept constructive criticism. Also, if you are trying to build relationships with your clients, maybe don't ignore your new clients that are already in the chair. Here is my "this is what I wanted, and this is what I got" pictures lol. Still giving them 3 stars because their place is really cute and relaxing.

I found them on Yelp and read that they took the time to really work with their clients and they definitely delivered. I showed her a picture of what I wanted and she got it exactly right. I've gotten a ton of compliments already and plan to take my friends and fam there when they come to visit. Thank you Han!
Thi, Han, Mee, and Mimi at Tipology have consistently provided professional, fun, and friendly service since I started almost a year ago with my gel manicure and pedicure. Though this nail salon is by appointment only, Thi and Han are very accommodating. The personalized and focused service is much appreciated. I highly recommend this nail salon.
Thi and Han always put such great care and time into all services they offer! Their prices are affordable and the experience is worth every penny. Thi takes her time through helping pick your colors to perfecting the final touches. Han is always more than hospitable, offering drinks and a good laugh. Both sisters consistently check in to see how you are doing and how you are liking your nails! The offer great conversation if you want it and provide a relaxing environment when you need it.
I visited the shop on January 6th, this was my second visit and it was even more amazing then the first! Han was my technician again. She is always so welcoming and kind. The staff here truly care about the quality of their work and are so accommodating. The shop offers lovely refreshments anything from Italian soda to water. Their decor is instagram worthy and always so beautiful. I highly recommend making an appointment or calling ahead, TIPology is worth the wait and definitely a hidden gem in Santee. This is the best manicure I've ever had. Han took her time helping me choose a color, with Ti's input as well, and was meticulous throughout the process. Other salons I've been to often rush through the service or seem irritated to be doing the work, which has led to gel that peels the next day or has lumps. Han was careful not to damage my nails, which has been an issue for me elsewhere. I never felt rushed, and the atmosphere Han and Ti have created at their Nail Lounge is calm and welcoming! read more

This is my new favorite place to get my nails done! The ladies are so friendly and super great at what they do! I think it's mostly by appointment but that makes it better because they are fully focused on giving you the best experience. I really wanted sparkly pink and she took the time to show me different colors to make sure it was the perfect one. I'm so grateful that she let me do this because I got engaged two days later and had the perfect nails! It's been almost a month and my nails still haven't chipped.
