Kim did my acrylic nails with gel on top and Mimi and another both did a little bit of my pedicure. First the good: EVERYTHING! :) the place was super clean, they greeted me when I came in, they smiled, showed me right to my chair and started doing my pedicure. The nail color selection was great, the staff were phenomenal and most importantly... my nails look beautiful. Kim took her time to make everything perfect. I'm particular and I can't stress enough how hard it is to find someone to do great (short) acrylic nails with gel on top. When I say this place is clean, I mean every nook and cranny is clean. The bathroom, the floors, the furniture, the tools, everything was sparkling clean!!! I have found a new place in Santee!!! Finally a place to go that does a great job! The bad: NOTHING! These guys did everything right. I have zero complaints.

I have been coming here about 3 years and this last visit will be my last. Kim always does my nails. This time, she filled my thumb nail much shorter than the rest. To correct this, the nail needed to be taken off and a new one put on. Kim aggressively took off the nail leaving a cut in the middle of my thumb. My thumb bled bad. It hurt so bad, it made me cry. Its been 4 days and the nail has hasn't felt right so I took it off and yellow liquid came out. This is how this salon treats a loyal customer.

3 weeks grown out, still look great! And I am hard on my hands.

Love it here! Great service and very friendly! I want to go back but my nails still look great 3 weeks later, and I am hard on my hands. Highly recommend!

She charged me $73 to get nail polish removed. I asked her a simple question very kindly because she hit the nail polish remover brush on my painted nail and I asked her about it and she got really mad and said that's your nail.. and then she wouldn't even continue to paint my nails. I said we're not doing white tip anymore? and she said no and then she still charged me $73. I've never had a bad experience getting my nails done. I would really not recommend going here. read more

Great, detailed work! They can effectively get rid of your old, dried-up cuticles. However, there are some downsides: their techniques feel outdated and not in line with the latest trends. If you choose a color they don't agree with, they may try to persuade you to change it. Additionally, they mostly offer old colors with nothing new. Ultimately, I grew tired of them wanting cash and requiring me to bring my own nail polish in order to be happy with the results. The owner is a stickler read more

what a great place! all these years later i still find myself coming here to see Mimi. i can feel at ease that my nails will be looking AMAZING by the time i leave. easy parking! i drive from afar so i call to make appointment on the morning of the day or day prior. i have seen walk ins. i just know they get so busy i cant chance it. read more

I called to confirm if they had time for a walk in, and they said they did, but I had to come quickly because they were expecting a rush. I ended up getting there within 10 minutes. The ladies were all very nice, but I think they were a little rushed when it came to my gel pedi, and by the time I was done, there still was no one who had come in, so I'm not sure what the rush was about? Treat yourself to a back massage, foot bath massage and pedicure. Very reasonable, low 30's. Sit in a Nice massage chair, relaxing warm foot bath , watch TV or play on your cellphone while you get a pedicure. Can't reach your toes, then this is the place to go. You can just Walk in. But it's always better to make an appointment. It was very relaxing. I highly recommend them. read more

Tbh this nail salon doesn't even deserve a 1 star but unfortunately I have to add it or else it won't let me write a review... to start off, the service these ladies offer is absolutely disgusting. I have never seen meaner people like this in my life. Tina is the worst one. For the past 8 months I have been trying to call this salon and for some reason my call just won't go through. I stopped by today and one of the ladies showed me the phone and it said "caller blocked". This was very unfortunate because this isn't my loss it's there's. I'll be honest im just a girl who likes nice nails so yes I will be picky if my $60 plus tip nails don't look the best but I have never done anything to bother or disrespect her in anyway. She makes you feel like you're not allowed to speak up if you don't like something. She would make me feel scared sitting in that chair because I couldn't speak up and I would always go home hating my nails. Overall, they don't respect their customers and the minute you want something on your nail fixed they start talking smack about you. They are horrible and greedy. I wouldn't suggest this nail salon because of how bad the customer service is. read more

I'm actually here for the first time and I LOVE it so far. I'm getting a pedicure and tbh I tend to have some crazy calluses. This young lady tending to my feet was a soldier and did an excellent job compared to another nail salon nearby in the Sprouts parking lot . I feel you definitely get your money's worth and a lot more than the competing location. Highly recommend! read more

After reading great reviews about this place I thought I would give it a try. I visited twice, the same lady did my pedicure both times. She did not clean my nail throughly, meaning did not remove all of my skin and cuticle. I've had pedicure at other places and definitely this one did NOT impress me. The place is clean, prices are fair. I did not enjoyed the lack of communication with me either. read more

Love this place and kim is great! Small nail salon and they prefer appointments but its worth it. Had my gel manicure done at two other local nail salons and the gel would break and chip before two weeks, have had mine now for close to that two week time and they still look great! No chipping or breaking. I highly recommend this place! Its worth the appointment. Thanks kim!! read more

This is my all-time favorite salon to get my nails done....ever. I go for pedicures with Mimi, although all of their techs are great. The environment is clean, pretty, quiet and relaxing. The owners Danny and Kim are both nice. I get a basic pedi in under an hour...just about my limit for salons ;) Highly recommend this salon :) read more

Walked in here after striking out at a nail salon down the street. All I can say is I am glad that happened because this shop is awesome. Everyone was super friendly and personable! The lady that greeted me asked my name and even though she wasn't my tech she remembered my name and asked how I liked the color of my nails while they were drying. My nail tech, Le did a fantastic job, exactly what I wanted. My husband came with and got a pedicure and the lady that performed did great. His nails naturally grown in a convex upward direction and can be difficult to work with. But, she did so good, his toe nails seriously look the best I've even seen! I like to go somewhere more than once to make sure my opinion is valid and not just a fluke(good or bad!) I have gone to Love Nails twice now and I don't think their great service is a fluke! They are very meticulous which I appreciate because I can be picky about how my nails are done. Some places feel like they are just rushing through to get as many customers in and out the door, but the ladies at Love take their time and make sure the job is done RIGHT! I have had gel manicures and a pedicure both times and was very pleased. I often come home from the nail salon and spend 30 minutes filing my nails to get them the way I like but they do it just the way I want at Love Nails! My friend recommended this place and it's my new go-to nail salon! read more

I don't ever post reviews but Kim deserves this. I have been coming to her for about 5 years. She makes my nails perfect every time and she actually listens to what you want/like. After 3 kids you don't really have a lot of time for yourself and Kim gets me in and out really quick. I moved up north and I will still continue to make the drive down to see Kim. read more

In the background, they had a relaxing musical playlist that included nostalgic 50s tunes and fun 90s pop music. My pedicure went great, but wouldn't recommend for a full set.

My friend chose the third pedicure option and gel nails nail polish to match her feet. After it was all done I found out I had the 3rd option not what I selected -at a higher cost than I anticipated. They left my price at the one I selected which was fair. I will caution you - be clear about what you want - I suggest Star give a written menu and you select your choice in writing - to save any uncomfortable miscommunication. This can potentially lose clients. I did feel like I was unknowingly upsold. All said they did such a nice job and everyone that helped us was very nice. They did an excellent pedicure/manicure. Took their time. My friend looked beautiful she had gel nail polish and gel toenail polish! II will say everything was done without feeling hurried and I would recommend them. Plan on spending about $200 for two.

I came in for an appt to have a fill and pedicure. This was my first visit and I was looking forward to getting my nails done here as I had heard wonderful things about Love nails and the work they did. I've had acrylic with gel done for the last 3 years and needed to find a new place as my regular salon had closed abruptly. My pedicure was awesome. Kim (I think that's her name) began filing off my gel color. I tried to explain to her that I recently had done some wood staining which in turn stained my nails very dark. Whether or not she understood I don't know. Either way about three nails in and she said that they were green underneath. I looked I couldn't see any green but she said immediately that she didn't want to go forward and that I should take them off and wait a few days and then redo a set. Now mind you she's filed all the color off of my nails. And filed down the length. I explained how I was leaving out of town and need to have nails hoping that she would at least offer to paint them. I understand if she didn't want to go forward because she thought it could be problematic but at least that she could've done something so that they didn't look like the color has just been filed off but I was offered no other option. Just as this is happening a lady walks in and says "hello kim are you ready for me?" I'm wondering how she was going to do my fill if that was clearly going to run into the time of another customer who had an appointment. I was forced to leave with ugly barren looking nails and a very uncomfortable feeling--- like I had leprosy. It's unfortunate because I was so looking forward to having my nails done here and possibly finding a new nail salon. If it had been handled differently in a way that didn't make me feel so awkward and uncomfortable I would probably not be writing this review. Professionalism is so important and unfortunately this business doesn't seem to realize that. read more

Was a long time customer but will never go back. My 3 year old granddaughter had an appointment for a mani/pedi the day before my son and daughter-in-law's wedding. She was going to be a beautiful flower girl the next day. She was so excited to be getting her nails done. When her other grandmother showed up with her at the salon, Kim said she didn't know anything about the appointment (which was confirmed by my daughter a few days before) and closed the shop and left. My granddaughter was so upset as was my daughter (also a long time customer). Luckily Twin Sister's across the way was gracious enough to take her last minute. So disappointed that the owner wouldn't/refused to keep my granddaughter's appointment. It was a wake-up call that our business wasn't all that important to her. read more
