This is not a review for the salon itself and all the other ladies, but just a lady named Linh. I NEVER do these kind of reviews, and have been coming to this salon for 6+ years. Never had one problem at all at the salon. Today I had an absolute awful experience. I don't know if Linh is not experienced in Gel-X fill (she didn't even clean underneath my fingernails at all and they came out all lumpy) or she just had a bad day. Automatically she was in a bad mood the minute I sat in her chair. She had on a "stank" face and the way she spoke to me was extremely rude (what did IIIIIIII do to you??). No big deal I thought, everyone has a bad day! But then she proceeded to do my nails and literally made almost every single one of my fingers bleed! Like blood was coming out! Coming to the salon should be relaxing, but she made me stress out so much that my hands started shaking! Couldn't enjoy the pedicure that I was getting done at the same time at all!!!! I'm including a picture, and mind you that's after cleaning up all the blood. And it's only my left hand, my right one is worse!!! Do not get your nails done by Linh, she's awful, rude, disrespectful and just not good at her job at all!!!!!!!! NEVER had I more worse experience in a nail salon my whole life, and I'm almost 40! P.S. she also had extremely dirty gloves on (stained yellow that they started turning dirty brown), that also were ripped on some of her fingers! I got Gel-X nails done today at Q Nails and unfortunately I'm really disappointed with the quality of the work. The outside might look okay at first glance, but the inside of the nails was left extremely messy and unfinished. There's visible buildup, debris, and uneven product under multiple nails. It feels uncomfortable and honestly unsanitary. For $72 plus tip, I expected much better attention to detail and cleanliness. Proper prep and finishing--especially underneath--should be basic standards for Gel-X. I'm sharing photos so you can see what I mean. While I was speaking to the manager, he proceeded to answer the phone mid conversation and disregarded what I was explaining to him about the service I received. So upset. I'm shaking. I've been coming here since they opened. Holly, my usual artist retired, So I thought I'd try someone new. I tried to bring it to the tech's attention that she was using dirty products on me. She brushed me off. After she started applying Polish, I asked for a Russian manicure, allowing the polish to go to the top. She wouldn't. The lady at the front came over to try to help. Explained what I wanted, and it still seemed to be a big deal. So, I just asked if I could leave. I was uncomfortable with the dirty products. I was willing to pay for the amount of work that she had done, applying the acrylic. When I got to the front, I explained that even after the nail tuck was handed clean drill bits, she continued to reach into the soil box. They tried to charge me $60 and told me that every nail place I would go to would have to put used products in a soil box but they were still clean. They ended up charging me for a gel manicure, so I still paid $40, and I still left the nail tech a tip. But they definitely did not listen to my concerns, nor think they were serious. read more

I have gone to this Nail salon several times. Mimi usually does my pedicures, she is conscientious and does a good job. However, I had a GEL Manicure in addition to my pedicure on December 21st, 2025. They offered a 7 day guarantee on my Gel manicure against any chipping or lifting. Which I appreciated because my last regular manicure did not last more than a few days. I didn't think I would need to address any problems with my Gel, however, before the 7 days were up, I had chips and on several nails the polish is lifting. I was hoping they would understand that I was 2 days late on the guarantee because of Christmas and I was watching my 18th month old grand daughter as my daughter was in labor for days before her baby arrived. They refused to honor or make good on this terrible Gel manicure. I have never had a Gel Manicure go bad this soon. Mimi came over and I could see as they spoke in their native language, that she had no authority and the girl at the counter would not budge. I WILL NOT BE RETURNING. i came in for a pedicure and was originally going to just have them clean up my cuticles on my hands since i do my own nails at home, but I decided on getting a full plain set of acrylics so i can have a clean base. The pedicure was great and the acrylics also came out great but she didn't clean my cuticles (which was what I really wanted). I even said "I'm excited to get my cuticles cleaned up". I just moved to the area for college, and was in search for new nail salon. I found Q's when I visited Costco. When I first walked in the salon, I felt so welcome and the staffs're so friendly. I got in with Tiffany for a gelx set, she's really nice and able to accommodate my idea. She're able to help me find all the colors for my nail's designs. Their prices are reasonable compared to the salon that I went to back in LA. They also offer drinks for clients as well. That being said; the new part owner, Jay, is a fantastic tech that does excellent dip nails. They have an extensive dip and gel selection. They offer wine, soda, and water. I came today 3/13 and the establishment is filthy. Nail clippings thrown on the ground. I watched as equipment was reused or towels thrown on the floor and then grabbed back up and used. I should have left but I'm non confrontational. The floor looked like it hasn't been swept and cleaned in days. The service was fair. I was given a water bottle which was nice but as I walked out I could see the cooler was dirty inside. I'm so bummed because this used to be my go-to nail place. There were plenty of technicians standing around that could have taken a broom and got to cleaning or wiping down. The chairs are not cleaned in between services either. It also smells very bad today in the salon. I really did not want to make this post but the cleanliness is a serious issue that needs to be addressed appropriately. read more

Terrible experience. I never write reviews whether I have a good or bad experience, but this truly made me upset. I wanted to get a simple acrylic removal. My usual nail place was all booked so I came here because I thought it would be something that is not too complicated for everyone to do. My sister got a regular manicure, which came out well. For me, she did not even attempt a soak off, just went straight to going under the acrylic with a nail extension. I saw a lady beside me getting a soak off so I did not understand why I wasn't getting one. She just kept telling me my nails are too tight and too new for removal, but continued to pry my nails off. My thumb and ring finger on my right hand were basically torn and bleeding from just ripping them off. Then she proceeded to try to do a soak off after my fingers bleeding and in pain to attempt to remove the left over acrylic. All the acrylic is not even off of my nails currently. I believe they gave me a discount (I paid $14) but I don't think that's acceptable practice. After I was "done" she proceeded to tell me my nails are just very weak. This is very unprofessional and why offer soak offs if you are just going to try pulling them off and ruin peoples nails? I'm truly upset because my ring finger is literally missing its natural nail in the middle and my thumb has a big piece of acrylic still on it but I don't want to mess with it yet because it's still bleeding! I get being busy but if you are not going to do you work correct, don't do it at all. I do not recommend this place, they rush too much and they are very unprofessional. read more

I have been here many many times in the past and I've never been disappointed. However, today was a different story. I called and made an appointment for two pedicures for my mom and I. Upon making the appointment I said one of them was handicap in a wheelchair. She lives in a nursing home, and this was a little treat to kick off the new year with a gift certificate we had just given her. When we arrived, they told us they could not do a pedicure for her unless I could physically pick her up and put her in the spa chair. I am unable to lift my mom nor is it safe to do so. Correct me if I'm wrong, but I have always been under the impression that businesses needed to be ADA compliant. I asked if she could sit next to the spa chair in the wheelchair and put her foot over in the bowl and they said no that would make it difficult for their technicians. I am not one that typically writes negative reviews however they were so non-accommodating and dismissive today. With as many times as I have been there previously, I will never go back. She has a gift card that won't be used and they made her feel like she was so unimportant and unwelcome. Legally, I am pretty sure they're required to service the handicap. Again, this was so disappointing. We ended up going over to Luxi nails across Mission Gorge, and although it was not the ideal pedicure in the fancy chair due to her handicap, they made every accommodation to be able to service her and made her feel like a queen. read more

I went in this place for the second time. First time I went my acrylic nails were done where the polish was done wrong with a bubble on one nail and indented on another nail. I went back today to get it fixed and tried to find the same polish. They didn't offer any drinks or say sorry for doing my nails incorrectly. I did not notice it right away since I had my young daughter with me. The lady in the front clearly didn't want to help me find the correct color and I had to do a color change on both my hands and nails to match. She charged me full price for a color change. Offered no sorry, no discount. Poor customer service and rude. Just in this too cheat people and not take responsibility. I won't ever be back! Which I could put a negative 5 stars read more
