Reina Eyebrows and Facial Threading raffled off a $600 gift certificate for eyebrow microblading at…read morea large pickleball tournament held at Barnes Tennis Center, sponsored by FIT. I didn't win the raffle but the winner wanted a wax, nothing more. Reina's couldn't do this so she offered the certificate to me as she knew I really wanted microblading done. The winner told me the business had verbally approved the transfer-- as they should seeing as it was hers to do with what she pleased after winning! Moving forward..... so I buy this GC... I'm stoked! Next day I contacted Reinas to book, told them I was the one who purchased raffle ticket from winner.... Etc. Lady told me this was being offered by artist Nazzii. I requested her insta.. all checked out... and that very same day she had a cancellation! I was then told to shoot her a text of my brows before the appointment. I then text the photos to Nazzii and immediately she said she doesn't work on brows done by previous artists. Kind of weird since it's a SEMI PERMANENT tattoo that calls for touch ups every 2-4 years (depending on skin type, sun exposure, etc etc.). And In my case, it'd been over three years... ANYWAYS....that was pretty much it. No mention of corrective options, removal, or starting fresh. Just statement that she doesn't work over other artists TATTOO* (ahem-- I don't have tattooed eyebrows!) followed by a message stating that "Microblading is a natural individual hair stroke on natural brows". .....yes this is correct.... And your point is.....???? Pshh Her alternative offer: one brow tint. One brow tint. For a $600 certificate. Ya know... if terms and conditions were disclosed prior to the raffle....All would be fine. And come on ---The original winner couldn't even swap it for a basic brow wax (which is fine they only thread)..... but the fact I couldn't use it for the service it was issued for... no no no. And the business's solution was a single tint service worth maybe $20. In conclusion........Before booking, I'd suggest reading the review directly before mine on this page -- it appears to describe a very different policy about working over previous brow work. Make of that what you will. Zero stars if Yelp allowed it.

I don't know if Linh is not experienced in Gel-X fill (she didn't even clean underneath my fingernails at all and they came out all lumpy) or she just had a bad day. Automatically she was in a bad mood the minute I sat in her chair. She had on a "stank" face and the way she spoke to me was extremely rude (what did IIIIIIII do to you??). Coming to the salon should be relaxing, but she made me stress out so much that my hands started shaking! Couldn't enjoy the pedicure that I was getting done at the same time at all!!!! I'm including a picture, and mind you that's after cleaning up all the blood. And it's only my left hand, my right one is worse!!! Do not get your nails done by Linh, she's awful, rude, disrespectful and just not good at her job at all!!!!!!!! NEVER had I more worse experience in a nail salon my whole life, and I'm almost 40! P.S. she also had extremely dirty gloves on (stained yellow that they started turning dirty brown), that also were ripped on some of her fingers! I usually get builder gel with cat eye, and my nails consistently last well over two to three weeks. I probably could go even longer between appointments, but I personally like keeping my nails looking fresh and maintained. I also receive compliments on my nails almost daily, including from complete strangers, which says a lot about the quality of Andy's work! He's very talented and pays attention to the little details, and I always leave happy with how my nails look. Overall, I've had mostly good experiences at this salon, but Andy is definitely my favorite nail tech. If you're looking for someone who does beautiful, long-lasting work, I highly recommend booking with him!

It was time for a change. I was looking for someone I could trust to keep my hair healthy and looking good. Well, Eveen fit the bill! She really made me feel comfortable from the first visit. She did exactly what I requested which was just a trim. I've heard horror stories of women that have gone to a new stylist and came out with something that they hated and had to be fixed. You can trust Eveen to execute exactly what you want. She is quick and knows her trade. Her demeaner is kind and professional. Each time, she has proven that she aims to please a client who is a "scardy cat" about letting just anyone touch their hair. I'm going to take the next step and have her do highlights. She has taken her time prepping my damaged hair and I know she will do a wonderful job. She has definitely earned a reputation of excellence and skill with me. I trust only her with my hair and would highly recommend going to see her. As far as the limited "one star" reviews.....it's apparent that those are people who are just disgruntled in life and just looking to take there anger out on others. With this many five star/excellent reviews it's apparent what the truth about this business really is. I can attest that the majority rules and that you should support this business. Found Beauty me by driving by, that same night Beauty Me popped up on my instagram so I decided to follow! I am new to San Diego and decided to run in to get my eyebrows threaded! First time ever getting this done and I WILL NOT go anywhere else!! I totally fell in love with the girls and their facility!! When Emma was done with my eye brows I asked her about my hair! She directed me to Eveen who sat me down, played with my hair a bit and asked what I wanted. I am so skeptical when it comes to letting someone fix my hair (still growing my hair out from a mess up!) so I decided to take a chance and I made an appt for the following week for a cut and color. I do not know why I waited a week! I have never had a color as amazing as this! And when I said don't cut much off GUESS WHAT?!? She didn't cut much off!! After 20 years, my beautician in La Mesa retired. I was really worried about going thru the process of finding a new person. Let's face it, we have to enjoy the person as well as Love their work!! I walked into Beauty Me because it was close to home, and next door to Starbucks. I stayed, because they're the Best! Eveen knows what she's doing, and was able to help the skeptical me relax. I really like what she has done with my hair!! She listens, did what I asked for. She has even helped me find the look I've been wanting. Emma is amazing with the brows. I have never had my eyebrows done. At 55 I felt I needed help. I knew there was this thing called threading but have never experienced it. It was especially embarrassing when while she was making me file my own nails she started speaking to her coworkers as if I was the problem. It really did make me feel worse. Do not come here, it really isn't worth it. I am now on the way to the store to buy a file on my way to the airport.
