I had an eyelash lift and tint by Thalia. It definitely did not turn out how I wanted it to look. I don't hate them but I also don't love them. I wanted them to look curled out, and a lift that looked more natural. Unfortunately, they are straight up and sometimes get crushed into the creases of my eyes. I do have long lashes but I have seen other women with long lashes get a lift and their lashes look more curled outward. I am not trying to bash the girl who worked hard on my lashes she was very sweet, however, she didn't ask me how I wanted or hoped my lashes would look for my end result. I'm only writing this review to help others and make her aware. Therefore, she can ask her future clients how they imagined their lashes looking by getting a lift. I did also had a reaction from the chemicals my eyelids did swell pretty bad. But I tend to be more sensitive so if you have sensitive eyes beware. Like I said before she didn't do a bad job. I'm just not in love and think she could've done better had she asked me what I was hoping they'd look like. read more

I tried calling them twice on Friday during business hours and received no answer, as well as twice Saturday morning and once again, no answer. If you're going to charge customers $19 for cancelling their appointment less than 24 hours before, you shouldn't deny an appointment request 4 hours before. read more

My wife gets her eyelashes done here and they do a great job! She is hot anyway, but always looks even better after visiting the salon. The shop is impeccably clean (very important these days) and the atmosphere is outstanding! The staff is friendly and welcoming. I don't use the services myself but they always make my wife happy. I looked them up on yelp because I'm trying to find a clean and reasonable priced place for brows. They had good reviews. I really wanted to like this place. Here is my honest opinion. Price was ok Place was clean Atmosphere ok The owner was very friendly and nice. My problem is she didn't ask what shape I would like etc.. the lighting was dim, she did not have any magnifying mirror or lighting to see my brows and when she was done she didn't offer me a mirror. For 25.00 I expect at least to say here's a mirror or consult me on what I might like my eye brows done. I had to ask for a mirror and I still had wax on my eyelid and upper lid. I have never had my eye brows this shape I dont hate it but I don't like it either and there were hairs she missed on my eye brows when she waxed. On the hunt for another eye brow place is really that hard to find a clean place?? read more

Just wow .... Surprisingly....I had Kayla the owner do my eyebrows..... They came out horrible I would never ever recommend to go here for microblading.... She did an awful job....I mean one eyebrow is completely different then the other...I even messaged her letting her know..... It was like 2 weeks after I had got them done she just argued about it... It's now been over a month an they look terrible even worse then they did .. she hadn't offered to fix them at no charge or anything... So now if I wanna get them fixed I will have to go to another person which they charge more bc they have to fix someone else's mistakes ... It's really upsetting.. to trust someone to do your eyebrows an they come out horrible I mean horrible... Please go somewhere else do not go here for microblading. read more

Microblading is LIFE CHANGING I found the SD Brow Bar through a friend, she had recently got her brows done and raved about the results. Kayla was running a deal on instagram and I text her ASAP to take advantage, she quickly got back to me and answered my questions. I was at the Brow Bar 2 hours later getting ready for my brows! I will say I am a eye brow VIRGIN. I don't wax, I don't pluck, so this was a totally new experience. Kayla was super gentle and told me what to except, her salon was sooo adorbs. I didn't take very well to the first round of numbing, there was some pain but I would compare it to getting alot of plucking done, after the first round of numbing everything felt great. Kayla provided recommendations on how to do my brows but didn't push me to do something I didn't want. I am SO EXCITED I got this done. It is absolutely life changing to wake up with brows every day and to not have to fill them in. I go back for my touch up in about a month. I'm telling all my friends and will definitely be coming back for years to come. If you are afraid - take the leap. It's 100% worth it. read more

Such a great experience from Beginning to end. I came in to get my eyebrows fixed from a previous company who had microbladded my eyebrows. The last company rushed me and didn't listen to my suggestions. San Diego brow bar was the complete opposite, they took their time with me, remeasured me about 4 times to make sure they were perfect, and made any corrections I requested. I tried this place a few months ago and I loved the location but the waxing service was okay. I decided to try it again cause I can't afford to keep driving to my regular brow lady, in LA. Bottom line the service I just received was horrible, maybe it was just that brow girl cause I follow them on ig and everyone looks fab there! This went down. I arrived to my appointment 5 min ahead of time I sat there with no one greeting me, no lie for maybe 15 min until someone greeted me and the lady ran over in time and cutting into my session. Next, we get to the chair she was very nice and we made small talk and guess what I feel wax on my eyelid/corner of my eye and she didn't say anything for about a cool min and then was like DONT OPEN YOUR EYE!!! Uhh.... like wtf how do you not notice where the wax drips? And needles to say she wipes it off and was like sorry I don't want to pull any eyelashes off!! Uhh... what? So finally we're done with the session. And she shows me the mirror and I kid you not I have a bald patch where I never had one before and she tells me had I known you had a bald patch I wouldn't have taken so much off!!! First, I don't have a bald patch maybe the attention to detail slipped and the wax spread where it wasn't supposed too. And then on further inspection when I got into my car I still had stragglers everywhere that could've been easily tweezed and still had waxed residue on my eyebrows and in my hair! I went to the "Brow Bar" because what better place to get your eyebrows done before a trip to Vegas than a brow bar. I usually get my eyebrows threaded, but I wanted to try a different place. The lady that did my eye brows waxed one brow and half of the other, then sat me up and asked how they looked. I told her that she forgot to wax the top of my left eye brow and she said she forgot. She not once cleaned up my eye brows with tweezers and my face is sticky from the wax because that didn't get wiped off either. NOT TO MENTION I have wax stuck in my hair. Wtf? For $20 you would think my brows would look and feel amazing. Nope. I'm just left with sticky hair and face. I am so disappointed. The reason they got one star is because the environment was good and the people were nice. Other than that not recommended. read more

I scheduled one Saturday they called me saying that the technician didn't show up. Ok, no problem things happen. Rescheduled for the following Saturday, perfect. Called on Friday left a message to request to move it a little tgat day. No call back. Made sure to show up the original time. They had me scheduled for Thursday and they didn't have anybody to help when I came in. So disappointing, right before my vocation... not taking my business there.
