They are different then before the new owners try and , charge extra for removing gel polish and , an additional 12 dollars for gel polish on top of the pedicure . I had been going here for 8 years. I was pretty happy because they had reasonable prices. The nail salon changed owner and it was down hill ever since. Every two weeks I would have a service and it was $24.00. I always left a great tip. With in 2 weeks my service went up to $42.00. I couldn't believe it! That's ridiculous and the new manager is responsible for it. I get it if you go to a fancy salon you would expect to pay premium prices but this salon is in no way shape or form fancy. So many nail techs have left or been fired. I think they only have 2 girls working there now. The last couple of times I was the only customer in the place. So like me , a bunch of other clients have decided to go elsewhere. The manager should have never double the price in a matter of 2 weeks. It's just bad business. read more

Really bummed out that all the nice ladies retired. One new lady here was soooooo rude to me when I was telling her an area of concern on my feet. She interrupted me and said "don't worry about it I already put it there" When I told her I was just trying to tell her my preference, she grabbed my foot to move it and dug her nails into my foot so hard that I asked for someone else. Do not go here. We went in last minute to get a fill for my daughter. She said she was burned by the tools a couple times during the fill. The nail person did a great job on the design my daughter wanted but messed up half way through and asked my daughter why didn't you tell me I did it wrong with the color. This is my second time coming to this nail salon, the first time i came for just a fill and it took an hour and a half. This usually takes me only 45 minutes to do therefore i was late to work but the last did well so I thought it would be good to give them another try. I brought my friend here to get a full set and aftter 45 minutes of being here the only thing they had done was put the tips on and started filing them into the shape she wanted. The lady then told us it would be another hour and a half at the least to finish and then made a big deal to all the workers in front of customers that she would not be finishing and had someone else do it. The next lady was nice and did the best she could but needless to say we will not be back and don't recommend to anyone trying to enjoy getting their nails done. read more

So I called City to see if the wait was any better. They said there is no wait, come on over. I asked again, just to be sure, they said there is no wait, come on over. I leave the place I'm at, drive across the street, took me 1 minute to get there, walk in, place is full. They tell me to sit down for a 10 minute wait. I moved to North Park for 2 years, moved back to Santee recently, walked in yesterday and was greeted by familiar smiling faces that told me they had missed me... nice to be back in EC! So this place doesn't have the spa chairs... and it is just your basic nail salon, but.... For $12.99 I get a pedicure that is perfect and they don't do the half a$$ massage here... they actually take care of you and make you feel relaxed and pampered! I had my nails filled here and they did a terrible job! They only cut my nails a little bit and I need them shorter due to me being a cosmetologist. All that was done was they were shaped. I was never asked if I wanted to change my color and if I wanted them shorter. I've been here multiple times where they are always great but this time they were not up to standards. This was a $16 service I could have done myself at home with my nail kit. I go into a salon to get my nails done so I can leave with something better then last time. And I had to wait 15 mins during my service for my nail person to give an eyebrow wax. I am very disappointed in this service and I will never come back to this shop ever again read more
