Will never go back. The older man, Henry, that did my nails had really unkempt nails himself. I've never seen anything like it in a nail salon. Looked like dirt under nails, rough/unfiled, with cuticles covering 1/4+ length. All he did was dip on 1 nail that's got permanent damage to nail bed. The tip will split vertically if not protected. He pried the old dip off with a 'pop', which likely removed some nail layers with it. He filed my nail length back 'all' the way, so that dip was stuck to the tip of my finger. I left with new dip so thin that it didn't protect the split in my natural nail, but split right through within 2 days. So it was worse than when I came in. There was only 1 customer and quite a few employees, 1 was even sitting out front. Never again. read more

Spa pedicure done by Angel. She was so efficient and the pedicure wasn't rushed tools and towels were clean as well as the rest of the salon. The atmosphere was calm and relaxing. I sat in the chair next to the window...awesome breeze while doing some self care. I went on a week day at 10am not crowded and didn't have to wait. After I start looking at colors the one worker said actually were busy can you come back tomorrow. I'm obviously confused because there's no one in there at all. Hi all to reading this, I've been coming here for months now with Nicki. However, I had an appointment scheduled with her and unfortunately wasn't able to attend then rescheduled the appointment. I got to the shop only to be refused service by her and no longer able to get my nails done by her. She has me mistaken with another client clearly as she thinks I would always reschedule; even though I've been coming here for some time now. I wouldn't recommend her at all now seeing how she treats her customers that have been going to her for almost a full year now and being understanding again after coming for close to a YEAR now. I was stressed after being refused service for a quick minute wondering where to go now!! Luckily this ended up happening! I'm a big believer in everything happens for a reason! I would HIGHLY recommend looking at LK Nail salon not too much further down the road from 888 Nails. Definitely ask for Qu the time and attention to details in itself will speak for itself. The designs were much better and attention to detail definitely goes much further than what Nicki can provide. Qu had smaller brushes and was able to make smaller designs inside the nail that I wasn't able to get done here with Nicki. read more

So I went today for the first time to do my nails with Kim. I showed her the picture to do my nails the same she said yes I can do it . She doesn't even know what she was doing from The beginning I keep telling her what to do and I asked her To do the snowflakes she said i don't know how to do it but l'll try and she couldn't do it .just say that you can't do it from the beginning. She just wanted to do them for the money not to enjoy her work . I told the Manager I don't like my nails she didn't even say anything not even fix them she just charged me $65 for this ugly nails. Following up.. 6 years later.. I still come here! I believe the drink offerings have now gone down to just being offered a water bottle (there was a moment where I would take advantage of a Diet Coke but it appears now they just water since I haven't seen anyone drink anything else), one spa chair (at least) doesn't massage, in the summer there are flies buzzing about (which sucks) BUT my toes look really good every time. I have been utilizing the technician Tran's pedi services and her attention to detail is top notch! She really takes care with my potential ingrown nails and will go so far as to start painting a nail all over again if she's displeased with how it turns out (it's only happened maybe twice in 6 years).. but the integrity of someone and the care they take in their work to not just "settle" and say "ehhh, it''s good enough" is hard to come by in workers these days! If you're in a rush, this salon might not be for you because (at least in my experience), the technicians are really aiming for high quality over fast speed/turnover. I also get my eyebrows done by Cathy, who does a great job! They have what I believe are all the latest colors (I can't comment on their abilities to do all the latest tips/nail trends/designs because I don't get those) but for really quality pedicures, they do a great job. The #3 pedi is now about $35 or so (so $12 more than 6 years ago) but I guess that's just inflation and how it goes. Call for an appointment if you don't want to have to wait! read more

They are very reasonably priced as well. We were paying $70-$85 for a full set at our old place, here we haven't paid more than $60 and their work is much better than our original nail techs (that includes designs!) . In my opinion, this is the best place in the area to get a mani/pedi. There are many places in the area and although they are all decent, 888 nails stands out in the crowd. There are many employees so even if they are busy, which they are...They are always accommodating, professional and polite. The massage chairs really work. I have been to some places that the chairs are worn out and not every action works on the remote. They are also very generous with the leg massage during your pedicure. I have been to some that barely get into a deep massage. More like a courtesy rub. Oh and they always have wine available for anyone interested in the full spa experience. I have never been disappointed with the final outcome. Neither has my daughter. It's rare when my 18 year old and I agree on the same place. We even go here together. Today was my first time here I usually go to the same person I've been going to for years. I just moved to the area and wanted to try something closer due to the fact that I'm pregnant and don't want to drive far. Let me start with first experience when I called to make the appointment the women on the phone was nice but answered and put me on hold for a long time. No issue I made an appointment for today at 12:00 arrived at 11:50 walked in no one greeted I didn't know who to inform I had arrived no one asked if I needed help finally someone asked what I needed informed the women I had an appointment at noon where she replied well you will have to wait. No place to sit had to go outside it's a little hard with the heat and the pregnancy. Came in for a fill and a pedicure due to the fact my feet have been swollen from my pregnancy having no where to sit and going outside in the heat was not the experience I wanted. I saw other people arrive after me and got helped as soon as they walked in don't understand if making an appointment was pointless. I was finally seen at 12:30 the gentleman who did my toes was very nice I can't say anything bad about him did an amazing job. After my toes they moved me to have my fill waited yet again and no one came they moved me again and I was helped by a man not happy with the outcome you can see the line where my last acrylic was and where the new one is and for what I got it was expensive I ended up getting something very simple the place I usually go to I get design and crystals and I don't pay this much i ended up paying $113 I don't mind the cost if the service had been a little better and the outcome was a little better with that said unfortunately I won't be visiting this facility again. Truly disappointed because I wanted to find a forever nail place that was closer to the area I just moved To but I guess the drive to my old place ends up being a lot more worth it. The reason I went to this place was because a good friend told me about it i was about to go across the street to halo nails and spa I've been there before and has an amazing experience might have to go to them when I can't do the drive to my original nail place. read more

David gave me a beautiful pedicure and was extremely kind and professional throughout the service. I was very grateful. Ann, on the other hand was curt, her instructions to me were not with the best feeling, very bossy is what I thought instead of gracious. I tried to start conversations but they fell flat. She spoke to David in her native language quite a few times which I found divisive. As I was at the drying table I said a couple of comments and no one responded. Ann was with a client and another person and it was a different story all together. I didn't want to make friends, I wanted a service performed and with kindness, is that too much to ask? My nails look good but I won't go back based on the attitude. Show some kindness to your customers...repeat or new. Like them or not...put your feelings aside and leave your attitude at the door. I love this place. Very well decorated. Very clean and super friendly employees. They have an amazing pedicure option. My husband and I love the Hawaiian option where you can pick your own essential oils! My toe nails were shaped perfectly and the gel has not chipped 2 weeks later. My fill also looked great. Man I wish I could find a decent nail saloon! This is not it unfortunately.. I thought the reviews were high so I schedule a full service pedicure. The lady was very nice but unfortunately did not know how to cut the dry cuticles around my toes nor did she know how to sand the calluses off my feet. Her touch was as light as a butterfly and when she tried to cut my cuticles, literally she cut nothing off! She just flitted around with the cuticle cutter and nothing came off, not one piece of dead skin! and I kept reassuring her that she wouldn't hurt me by removing the dead skin. My toes look exactly the same but with nail polish! Same dry skin and now I have to go home and redo them myself .. wasted $50 !!! Is there ANY NAIL people that actually cut off the cuticle and sand the dead skin off?? Would love a recommendation .. This is what my toes looked like AFTER the full service pedicure .. ugh!! read more
