I visited this salon for the first time, as a new resident of SD. The space was very clean and beautiful. The staff were friendly and welcoming. My pedicure experience was immaculate- I still dream about it! Lisa was very gentle, kind, and patient. The ambiance was so relaxing- I fell asleep. The work was very clean and done well. Updated review, only caused they asked me to leave a review, even after I told them I already did. I'm not sure how the quality went down. Both my daughter and I got pedicures and my daughter also got a manicure, no gel (my daughter is 10). They said they couldn't do a design on her nails cause she wasn't getting gel, they could only use stickers? My pedicure was mediocre, I've never had a tech immediately go in with an electric file. I guess she assumed I had gel on my toenails? I paid for the pamper me pedi, but it felt very basic. The pedicure itself was sloppy. My daughter's pedicure was good. However her manicure chipped in a day. I get that regular polish chips much more quickly than gel, but if they only want to work with gel polish, then they shouldn't offer regular polish. I was disappointed in the end. It felt like we were being penalized for not getting gel. Even though we had an appointment, I felt like we were in the way. I'm so sad, I really thought I had found my nail shop. read more

It was my first time trying them. At first, an older lady came and cut my toenails way too short. Then she wanted to do only one fake powder nail. When I told her I wanted all my nails to look the same, you could tell she was unhappy. The lady who came afterward was amazing, though. However, they charged me $112 just for my toenails! When I told my sister and friends how much I paid, they were all shocked by the price. And I already have two broken toenails. Answer to your comment: I still have your massages; you thought I did hot stones and feet mask and I did not. I chose the basic spa. You told me because we will do the powder the total cost will be $112 instead of each toe $10. P.S. Anna did a great job--she was amazing! read more

I spoke too soon about my visit here. Just got my nails done here on Friday and had to come back Sunday because my french tip chipped on my thumb, now it's a Tuesday and there's a few nails that's already chipped again and lifted. They use builders gel but why is it already chipped and lifted it hasn't even been a full on week. I will not be coming back. read more

If you plan on getting a pedicure at this nail salon, I totally recommend BUT be VERY careful about the way they do your manicure especially gel manicure nails here!!!! I went for the first and very last time here about two months ago and instantly regretted it. I went in for a gel manicure and the lady asked me whether I wanted gel or builder gel, I asked what the difference was and she said builder gel protects your nails etc. I asked for the price and she said "$60 for builder gel." I then immediately said, "no thank you, I'll just do regular gel" as the price difference was quite drastic. She then proceeds to OVER file my nails with the electric file to not only file my nails but to clean the cuticles!!! IT HURT SO BAD!!!! I've never in my life seen someone clean my cuticles and do everything with just the electric file instead of using a regular cuticle nipper and regular non-electric tools. My cuticle started bleeding from it because of how strongly she was rubbing the electric file against my skin. The whole time I was in pain and to top it off, the lady added builder gel to my nails when I had kindly told her not to. She kept saying "it's better for the nails." At this point I was furious because she was NOT respecting my decisions and she also ended up charging me the $60 when I had told her I didn't want them the entire time. ANYWAYS fast forward to today, my nails have NOT recovered from the terrible manicure she gave me. I have never seen my nails this brittle and thin in my life before. I've never worn acrylics or done anything to my nails other than regular nail polish or regular gel throughout my entire life but this "builder gel" and her style of manicures ruined my strong long healthy nails I have always had. I'll NEVER ever come back here again. I'm so disappointed and upset. It's been very upsetting seeing my nails splitting VERTICALLY!!! NEVER in my life did I think that was even possible!!! Also my nails have been so sensitive and painful to hot water and any kind of pressure ever since I got my nails done here. So PLEASE stay away from this place when it comes to gel manicures and make sure to stay away from builder gel!!!! I hope my nice strong healthy nails grow back soon because it's been a long two months with no improvement and it's been awful. read more

Hi, I went here last minute before a trip with daily water activities! They were all very friendly and accommodating! I was in there for about 2 1/2 - 3 hrs, which I would say is pretty fast for gel x nails (with design and jewels), gel toes (French tip), and a full set volume lash. The price was fairly decent, I paid, if I'm remembering correctly, $230 for all services! These are lashes and nail growth about 5 days after service, I had been in and out of pools, oceans, and plenty showers at this point. And for starting said activities just the day after getting my lashes done, I'd say they held up pretty well! Very pleased, 10/10 recommend!! read more

Good quality and almost everyone I've had is talented. I liked that online booking was available initially, but both times I used it and requested my preferred tech, I was handed off to someone else. The first time seemed like a one-off as the tech said she had a sick child at home. No problem. Second time I arrived a few minutes early to what I thought was the earliest appt. available to find the tech running behind on someone else. My impression was that she has a standing appt. with a VIP. That's fine, but why have appts available online and double book? It's insulting to not respect a client's time. I booked days in advance and blocked off a morning of taking my own clients for this appt. On a plus side, Lena was very kind and did a great job. read more

Unfortunately I would not recommend it here if you want high quality service. I came in wanting the builder gel off of my nails, and wanted a regular gel manicure. The woman doing my nails went back and forth with me saying she would do builder gel because it's stronger. I had to say no multiple times and stand my ground. This wasn't a language barrier thing, she simply wanted to push me into a more expensive mani that I didn't book. She was pretty rough with my nails, especially with the cuticle roughly pushing it back. Additionally, she would pull on the builder gel on my nail which I'm pretty sure you are NOT supposed to do. Some of my bare nails looked rough after bc of the way she pushed my cuticle back. My mani is alright, but some of the free edges of my nail are bumpy and not filed correctly. I decided not to say anything about it so I could just file them at home. read more

Theyre very friendly but their gel-x & builder gel experience is not the best. Ive gone to an independent nail tech who specializes in gel-x & builder gel and this place did not compare unfortunately. The gel-x nails were applied with too much gel underneath which caused my nails to detach a little underneath after about a week. Then i made another appt almost two weeks after for a soak off removal & builder gel and i feel like the gel from the gelx was not fully removed. My nails looked bulbous and im struggling to fix them now. Theyre very friendly & clean but not the best at gelx & builder gel. read more

First of all, why do I come in every 3 weeks and the entire staff that was there is gone and new people are working ?? So disappointed. Loved it for the speed, the quality, and the price. My nails pictured below last year cost $65 Went in yesterday for my nails to almost be $95. Felt so uncomfortable, told them to just finish my pedicure and I'm not going to go through with my nails after they started filing my nails, I was so disappointed in the Customer service, and the $30 prince increase. Also my $44 pedicure was awful, I literally go for a relaxing time to unwind and I was in and out in 25 mins, not even knowing if she put lotion on my legs. There is so many nail salons in the area, and I used to love coming here, but I won't be spending my TIME, MONEY here anymore. read more
