My first appointment was with Michelle for a classic plus eyelash appt. She is very warm and personable. I really wanted to love her but unfortunately we had an accident during the extensions and it felt like she pulled an eyelash out. She did apologize but my eyes were so watery after that she had to change glue and the next day my eyelashes were falling off. I did still love the look at the end of my appt and still think she did a great cat eye but it wasn't adhering well and the appt ran for about 3 hours. I'm still giving this place 4 stars because they offered a free service recovery and Tetiana stepped in. OMG she was very gently and did a great great great job!! I kinda ran out of the shop because I had to run to go for another event BUT I would love to continue seeing her for my wedding lashes. The store is very cute and small and has its own parking lot in downtown La Mesa. Very clean and modern. The girls working are so cute and stylish and love their overall vibe!! Hi, I wanted to share some feedback from my first visit to Little Lash Lift. Sammie was my lash tech, and while I understand everyone has different communication styles, she didn't feel very welcoming when I arrived. The appointment also felt a bit rushed and was shorter than the expected 60 minutes. It seemed like she was focused on getting the next client settled even before I had finished paying. When I got home, I noticed my left lashes didn't lift as much as the right, which stood out since I've had lash lifts before. Madina was incredibly kind and took the time to explain the entire lash lift process, making me feel comfortable and confident. even though I know my lashes aren't easy to work with, she made me feel like my lashes were thick and ready for this, and she was right, she handle it like a queen of lashes! My results turned out absolutely perfect--my lashes look longer, lifted, and so natural without needing mascara. You can really tell they pay attention to detail and care about their work. I've been getting my lashes done by Tetiana now for over a year and I'm sooooo glad I found this amazing shop with this unbelievably talented lash technician. I first came to her with someone else's dreadful work and some how she worked her magic to bring my lashes back to where I was in love with them again. Absolutely and utterly horrible job done by Michelle. The lashes she put on me look as though a child applied them. She is very inexperienced and not at all an artist. I fully explained to her in depth what I wanted and she gave me nothing as I asked. I have wore lashes for 18 years and I am appalled at the horrible job! My eyes are big and deep set and she gave me very tiny lashes and very few. This shop SHOULD not list them as artist when they are not! It's no wonder why she could not sustain her own business doing work such as this. Red flag that she went from owning her own business to working hourly for someone! If I'd known prior I would have never allowed her to touch me! Update to their response... completely false! First, please do not lie! I did not come in crying!!! Are you serious?? I was NOT offered anything but what Michelle put on me. She knew the work was bad and offered to fix on Sunday! I picked her because she said she specializes in wispy.. not even close!!! I did not come in saying I was in pain I came in for a fill and Michelle told me she would have to remove them and start over. Of course you will stand up for your business instead of what's right! At the end she said DUE to time constraints and had no choice but to put this shitty job on me! Should have rescheduled to allow for more time.. period! You, the owner, left shortly after I arrived! You are a joke and your business is a joke! There is a reason Michelle no longer has her own business, and this is the reason ! i had an emergency SOS need that little lash shop handled! i had just gotten my lashes done (very poorly and with horrible bedside manner :/ i tolerate a lot. im a bit of a people pleaser so i walked out of the other place pretending everything was fine and then immediately requested to get them removed). yelp sent my last minute appointment out to a few places and LLS squeezed me in to get them removed that night (within the hour). my tech (im sorry i dont remember your name) was so sweet and informative and considerate in my distraught state. i can't speak for the other lash services besides removal, but i had a great experience here! the tech was so sweet and the place was clean and welcoming. thanks again for helping me out! read more

Last year - after four years of being her client - I followed Michelle to little lash shop. And although I live in Carlsbad, the drive is always worth it. Michelle is an incredible artist who does the most perfect natural set for me every 2-3 weeks (I'm 38, have never been into makeup, and want to feel pretty rolling out of bed). THE place to get your eyebrows done! Ask for Tetiana, her expertise is amazing! I felt in the hands of a talented, passionate artist and sculptor. The detail covered in her 30 minute appointments is second to none. Also you are gifted a brush at the end that was nice. I visit SD once in a while and needed to find a last minute place to get my eyebrows done. I found little lash shop asking if they thread as Ive never been comfortable with waxing, however they were really nice and convinced me I would like waxing and were able to squeeze me in. Okay so this was my first time here. Upon walking in I noticed how incredibly clean this place is. The lady greeted me right away . Super sweet too. So I have done fake lashes and I like how my eyes pop with them on how ever the weight of the lash is too much for me and I end up pulling them off. Well I was looking in to lash lifts and decided to try it. So I did. I felt a slight burn but that's normal I would guess, at the end of services eyes were a little puffy but then again I have super super sensitive skin to boot I have bad bad allergies so a mix on my part. It was gone not too long after my apt. I can't say hate my lashes with the lift but I can say I LOVE LOVE MY LASHES !! to have them natural feels better and I love the look just a little lift so my eyes can pop. I will be coming back for a lift in a few months. If you are like me and pick then try the lift you won't regret it. I'm so glad I tried this service and at this place. I have been coming here to see Kate since March and it's amazing every time! I started out with Classics and transitioned to Hybrid, both of which Kate is equally great at. The beds are extremely comfortable, which is great as I usually struggle with back and hip pain.
