Hi! I have been coming here for pedicures for a couple years and they do a great job especially with ingrown toenails. I came here a few months ago for the first time with Kim for regular polish acrylic full set and she did an amazing job! I called ahead and decided to take a chance to get an acrylic fill for French with an older lady and I'm just disappointed. These nails are for my birthday weekend and I even asked for her to fix the white tips since she painted the pink on top of them. Unfortunately, my acrylic fill was still over my cuticle, the polish streaks were visible and white polish was left behind my backfill. My nails after a few hours are already chipping off and my nail tech kept walking away to talk on the phone while nails were drying and when I checked out to pay. I did come back shortly after my appt. To book a appt with Kim for a nail fix and she was still on the phone. I love this place for pedicures but very disappointed I paid and had a hard time vocalizing my frustration with how my birthday nails turned out. I don't know what to do since I sat for almost 2 hours to get them done and refixed and they still turned out like this. Hope somebody can help me somehow and fix these. Thank you! read more

Men's Pedicure: They do a great, thorough job, and really take their time to do it right. And then the bill is a crazy low $25! So remember to tip them well. The facilities are strip mall rough around the edges, but clean. read more

The reason for only 3 stars was mostly because when I called before coming the gal on the phone told me that a gel manicure, on my real nails was only $20. I was like, GREAT! Sweet price! Well, when I was paying, she tried charging me $25 after telling her that was going to give her a $5 tip. I had to tell her that I called beforehand and they told me $20. I just felt frustrated that I had to say something.. the customer shouldn't have to speak up about the price. Overall, they came out beautifully and it was a good experience. The lady spoke broken English, which made it a little difficult to communicate; however, I didn't really want to chat but relax while getting my manicure. I'll definitely be back and do recommend but just make sure you only pay what they initially quote you. read more

Nail Expo - Gel Manicure on Real Nails - Nail Salons Near Me - Phoenix, Arizona

I'm a flight attendant here on a layover and needed one nail fixed because it lifted. It was a basic French tip. I ubered there and they didn't have one singular customer. At first they said they're too busy to fix it which obviously made no sense. Then they said they can't fix it because it was done at another salon. They refused me service and were unwelcoming/rude. Anyways go to LUXE NAIL BAR!! They were kind, helpful, and the shop was cute read more

Went in and they said had enough time for a manicure and pedicure First off the lamp they use to cure the gel polish was basically just an industrial microwave oven from the 70s so obviously it didn't cure the gel polish Highly doubt I get a refund because I left the salon just fine and this happened about two hours later glad I left a low tip Bc it was not worth the 35 dollars My hands as well are not painted evenly at all but that's fine because I'm not picky with my hands but basically it looks like I could've done a better job myself. Please get new lamps to cure the polish because that's embarrassing. read more

Nail Expo - Gel pedicure - Nail Salons Near Me - Phoenix, Arizona

I paid $25 for a gel fill and an older woman did them. I immediately could tell she was sloppy and did not know how to do them correctly, she had put the acrylic over my cuticle. 3 days later all of my nails fell off. I call and I go in and she fixed them. Here I am again, my nails popping off 3 days later. She uses the same drill to file the nail and to drill down the acrylic, has no idea what she is doing. Big waste of my time. I will never be returning unless I want a pedicure! Since it is only $17 and that's the only thing they are good at. Don't even bother and waste your time. You get what you pay for I guess! read more

Nail Expo - Pink nails done & all broke off from this place. Friends nails in red. - Nail Salons Near Me - Phoenix, Arizona

I needed a quick fix on my toes since one side of them hurt badly! I came in because the price is reasonable and I can say I really love the service. I came in a quiet time but they took their time on making my pedicure look really pretty and helped with the problem. I would come here again would recommend it if you are looking for a nail salon that doesn't have high prices you should definitely come here. read more

Been here several times and every time I've had quick, courteous, professional service. I stopped going to any of the other nail places that are close by. I actually discovered this place because I went to the other nearby places and the wait times were either too long or the people were rude. Prices are reasonable and the place is clean and relaxing. I'm super happy with my mani/pedis from here. read more

They moved and I had to find them. They are now located at 2316 E Indian School just to the west of Subway. Same great gals and same great experience. I have been going to them for years... read more

This salon is great. Very clean. The prices are so inexpensive and they are very thorough. Kim and Lana are superb. I brought my elderly mom in and they could not have been nicer. The pedicures are wonderful. read more

I have been here several times and they always do a great job!! Love that it's a very relaxing atmosphere. They have the tv on but the volume is low which I enjoy. The area is clean and the prices are great!! Love this place. HIGHLY RECOMMEND IT!!! read more

Walked in, not a great looking place, but we were greeted and seated quickly. The ladies did a fabulous job! If you are looking for something special, go elsewhere, but for a quick, good looking mani or pedi, come here! read more

I have gotten mani pedis here before and they do a good job but I got acrylic for a wedding and although it looked nice when I left, they soon started to fall apart. After paying 25 plus tip I was hoping they would last longer.. They just were not made with love. I won't be getting acrylic here any longer. read more

I have visited the Nail Expo on Indian School Road a few times now. I always get the same person (her name escapes me right now) and she is very good. She has done manicures as well as eyebrow waxing for me and I find her to be a very good waxer. The manicures were not perfect, but very serviceable and lasted well. This is a more comfortable place than others I have been to and there isn't a constant upsell about everything. She was friendly and we talked about families and children with ease. If you are looking for a great, comfortable, not too upscale place that is dependable with good prices, this is it! read more

I like them - I told my technician (Kim) that in the past my nails have not been shaped how I like them, no matter how many times I tell them. I explained to her what I wanted and she did JUST THAT. And, she remembered for the next time. The prices are very reasonable, as well, so I plan to keep going back. read more

So I got a full set of french before Thanksgiving. She was quick and talkative but the quality of her work was awful! Within 2 days they were coming up and cracking on the sides. I did go back and the sister of the owner was happy to fix them but what a mess. I paid $28 for horrible set! I am very unhappy and will never go back! Find another nail salon! read more

I love this place! I have been going here for about a year now. I go to the same lady every time and she knows exactly how I like my nails done. Another reason I like this place is they are quick, I don't like spending hours in a nail salon. They also have the least expensive manicure and pedicure than any other place in town! read more

The nail technician was an older lady who claimed to have been doing nails for 18 + years. She ruined my nails and I was only there for a fill in. I arrived at approximately 9:00 am and didn't get out until after 11:00 am. I had to pull my hand back several times because she was burning my nails and she filed 2 of my fingers with the shaping instrument. Today, I had to go to the pharmacy to get medicine for broken and bleeding skin on 2 of my fingers. I should report this to the State of AZ Cosmetology Board. I honestly do not think she is licensed to be doing nails. I will NEVER EVER go back to this place and I showed my coworkers how my skin looks after my so called "fill in." If you do not want your nails burned with a drill or your skin cut and bleeding, do nor even thing about going to this place. read more

Do not go to this wanna be nail shop! I repeat DO NOT GO. I knew as soon as I walked in I should have left. I need to listen to my gut instinct more. Anyway, one of the ladies was on her phone the entire time and only one woman was working at the time, when clearly there was three women there. The lady that did my nails didn't use new tools or sterilized the ones she was using. She used the same rag the lady before me was using. The woman did such a crappy job on my acrylic nails, like the acrylic was just on my nails. It was over my nail bed and even on my finger tips. The paint was done shitty and I just wanted to be done. One nail broke two days later and I went to a different shop to get it fix. Then two days later the acrylic was lifting up on my nails. The nails didn't even last a full week. The place is dirty and it smells. Don't go. I would have taken pictures, but I couldn't find them on yelp... the name that was on the building was lee and then I drive by and it's called nail expo. Looked it up and there it was. But please, please I beg you don't go here. Save your money and time. One of the worst acrylic nails I had done. read more

I hate that I even need to give this place 1 star!! The absolute worst manicure and pedicure... They made the nail polish on my toes so thick it already peeling not even 3 days later! I got gel nails for my mani and the side of my nails weren't painted so I asked her to fix it and ended up with polish all over my skin! I had to have big toe repainted 3 times because it was bubbling (left and came back 2x in one day) yea it's cheap but the saying you get what you pay for couldn't be more true for this awful place!!! So pay the extra 10 bucks and get nails done that your proud to show off! NEVER GOING BACK EVEN IF THEY PAID ME TOO!!! read more

I love Nail Expo and I won't go anywhere else! They treat me and my children like family and I have been getting pedicures and manicures here for going on 10 plus years. They know my name and I never have to wait very long if at all and if they are busy they let me know a good time to come back. The prices are reasonable, the establishment and tools are clean and the services professional. read more

My neighbor brought me here years ago and I've been coming ever since for pedis. Love them! I bring my mother-in-law for pedi and trim, and the ladies are always super with her. read more

I have not ever wrote a review.... This was a must!! I've been getting my nails done over 10years now and this has been by far the absolute WORST!! I am new to the area and was in need of a nail fix! I called and set an appt for pink/white & pedi. As I went in no one greeted me, I then said "Umm I have an appt" a lady said "sit here". The nail table looked like it had not been cleaned for DAYS!!! (I told myself to be patient.) she started it was going smooth, at first. Right before she was about to put the acrylic on she couldn't find the pink powder, after 15 minutes it was under the sink no where near her station; welp the organization was out the window! She proceeded, the acrylic was EVERYWHERE, her fingers were sticking to mine it seemed as if a 10year old was doing nails for the first time. I asked her to narrow them from the beginning and she didn't bother to listen as she was about to apply the gel on I pulled away and said "I want them narrow not wide". She started to narrow them, 3 fingers later were bleeding and she smiled and said "oops sorry, I fix, I fix." As my nails were under a black light the gel was clumping up and she started to get upset with me as if it was my fault. It took her 3x to stop the gel from clumping, she didnt say a word to me but then handed me off to someone else. I was a bit confused and the new lady taking care of me and said what color would you like for your pedi? I said "I'm not getting a pedi here, thanks! I go up and they ask for $40.... I simply said "NOPE! I refuse to pay full price for these". They then said "Well she already did the labor." I said "that's fine but she did a horrible job and I'll be paying $25, and that's more than ok because I shouldn't be paying for these at all!!" THREE DAYS LATER!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! 9 out of 10 of my nails ARE LIFTING!!!!!!! This is honestly your choice to go hear of not, GOOD LUCK UGH!!!! read more

They don't use primer for the long lasting nail polish and then it chips. I went back to have the lady fix it and she did the same poor procedure. I wonder if they want your nails to chip. read more

This was my first manicure in years - other manicures were so bad, that I just started doing them myself. However, because I was going out of town, I decided to get gels for the first time. LOVE THEM!! Tina was outstanding. She did my manicure and pedicure. This was the BEST manicure I've ever had. She was super careful in cutting my cuticles and took extra care in painting. Looking forward to going back to redo my gel in two weeks. Thanks, Tina!! read more
